Change is the only constant in life so probably it is time for SL Modeling Industry to adapt to changing demands,audience, and come up with new ways to engage SL residents.

When you took some time off from sl, was it the same when you came back?

Yes I did. When I feel like SL is taking time away from my RL or it gets overwhelming, I like to take a break to keep things in perspective.

Is there anything you will change during this year?

I was a bit too involved in SL early on and spent too many hours in SL, I would change that if I could redo :) Is there anything you miss from past years?

I miss the people & events like Designers United, Modavia Fashion Weeks, Avenue Magazine, Blogger’s like Euni Kira, Irie Campese, Vega Arida.

What made you come back?

I work in it, and although by definition my role requires me to be creative, when you work for a big organization you don’t really have freedom to do whatever you want. I guess I missed that freedom that SL gave me, where I could do whatever I wanted creatively so I came back.

Calling myself an icon would sound very strange. I’m just doing what I passionately love to do - fashion & the ‘amateur oil painter who gave up painting for a career’ in me who likes to find balance & harmony in things. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

I love the fact that there are people who look to me for inspiration.

What does it take to be someone to cross that line and be unique?

Be passionately true to yourself. Don’t follow trends blindly, add your personal twist to everything you do.

You don’t realize it but each one of us has an inherent unique style and if you stay true to your core self, that uniqueness in you will show in everything you do.

Federica was first runner up for the 2nd season of Styling Forward, and MISS ITALY 2014 before going on an extended vacation from Second Life to take care of her family.

I was recently chosen to be a part of The Fantasy Angels and it was one of my proudest moments in my modeling career. In my eyes and Angel is the epitome of perfection, they are beautiful, flawless, and sexy.

Fluorescent Make-ups is a type of make-up who suit most of the time for evenings as well as for several other night events. This make-up allow to give a particular touch to the look and to seem more visible when the darkness settles down. It’s react to the ultraviolet light and seem fluorescent and colored at night.

This make-up exist in several ranges namely : cream, red with lip, varnish, painting of body, eye-shadow. All these react to the ultraviolet light or in the black light. They are available in several colors : green, yellow, red, blue, purple, etc. The make-up has a brilliant face and a more brilliant physical painting on the body than the other types of make-ups. It serves to realize drawings almost everywhere on the body or the face what gives a really brilliant aspect. Often used in the musical clips for more clarity, as well as in the night-clubs.

I’m fine thanks and you? It’s a pleasure to see you again.

You are one of the greatest model’s in the sl fashion industry how’s that make you feel?

I’m still very incredulous. I materialized my dream..

What would you say it takes to get to this point?

I worked hard to get to this level, learning both through different schools, but especially from my mistakes. Competing in competitions helps a lot to find self-confidence, but also to allow me to vent

through imagination and to show our professionalism.

You have been in several model contest , tell us about this experience.

For me, taking part in competitions has always been important. Doing fashion shows involves having to do what the designer wants. In the competitions you are free to interpret the theme that is assigned to you, as you will. It’s true, you get judged. But it was the Criticism of the judges that I learned a lot from.

Every competition I did, gave me a lot, both on a personal level, because you work with extraordinary people, and a professional level(because you make it more visible) .The last in which I participated, was very exciting. I struggled double because of other competitors, because to reach it I had to win another competition.

But it was just that to give me the emotional strength

Beauty is something that comes from within ourselves first, and then is reflected on the outside. â&#x2122;Ś But it was just that to give me the emotional strength to deal with it. And my efforts were rewarded.

Did you ever think you would make it this far?

I have not thought about that yet. I got to where I did not think to get there, and then what I thought about is to seize the moment.

Did you ever think to quit?

Yes, at times I thought about it. Especially when the continuous maintenance of Second Life nullified all my clothes edited, and made me submit to casting, as if I had never edited a dress. Whereas I had taken hours.

Do you think there is something special that makes you unique? and what would that be?

I think being yourself, makes you already special. Each of us is a unique and irreplaceable individual.

Trying to look like someone you admire, for me is a mistake. You can admire the others, you can take inspiration from them, but to be truly unique, you have to be yourself.

How did you get into all this? modeling contest.. etc I always wanted to be a model, one day at a store I met an avatar that had the group of a school for Italian models. I took the name of the group and I enrolled at the school. When I graduated I had the model stand for an American designer, I then began doing casting and fashion shows. Then out of curiosity I enrolled in the monthly photo competition of accessory The now ON 9. I won a month, the same month I participated in a contest of KV Dream Agency Sim and I also won that.

Where SL takes you: Chouchou, Totoro’s Forest and Luane’s Magical World.

As the spring is coming some sims in Second Life world start to embrace the theme. Talking about spring it is always about beautiful colour, and Chouchou island, Totoro’s Forest and Luane’s Magical World are such amazing example for this.

Chouchou is a place with dreamy Japanese theme. It has two spots connected with a teleport pad. There is this Japanese palace with pond, magical lotus flower and sakura on the lower level. On the upper level is a big and high palace that looks like something come out of an MMORPG’s game. Totoro’s Forest is taking a Japanese rural theme with farmer’s field and hawkers.

The sakura trees and farmer’s field separated by small river and connected with a wooden bridge giving a perfect village view.

Luane’s Magical World has been famous for its fantasy theme with sparkling trees above waters, fairies and unicorns. Getting the perfect outfit and pose you may create a picture that can tell people stories about love and friendship like an anime comic books..

Once you land into the sim and do a quick glance all around, the view of a great bridge will catch your eyes. There are also some floating islands offering you peaceful atmosphere. The old stone path will guide you to walk around the sim to each of its fantastic spots; old town, water, small woods, and old tower that will remind you to background from some sci-fi movies or online games.

After spending your times walking, talking and even taking memorable pictures around the sim, you can close the moment by visiting the ballroom at the ground level for one or two dances. There is also a spot there where you can let your partner.
