A global benchmark: II Annual Report of the Asset Securitization Sector
Our second annual report brought together insights from 100+ companies across 18 countries, with contributions from leaders like Cucchiara y Cía. S.A., Mason Hayes & Curran LLP, Dentons, Harneys Fiduciary, Compass, Inversiones Security, Leverage Shares, AV Securities INC, Santander Group, CIX Capital, BBVA, GBM Grupo Bursatil Mexicano, Allaria Fondos and Black Salmon LLC.

In 2024, we successfully brought back our FlexFunds Seminar Series, gathering over 150 top-level executives and financial advisors across Panama and Chile. These events provided an excellent platform to share the latest trends and key advantages of asset securitization tailored to each country’s unique landscape.

With a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 74.51%, we doubled the industry standard for a successful NPS.


We surpassed the 7,100 LinkedIn followers mark.
We achieved over 100% of the meeting goals for our roadshows during 2024, rea rming the strong interest in our solutions across all the markets we visited.
We achieved 32,23% more MQLs in 2024 compared to 2023.
We increased our database by more than 6%, continuing the growth trend we've maintained for the last 6 years.

Governance, Business Services & IT
This year, the Governance, Business Services, and IT teams achieved incredible milestones, driving innovation, streamlining processes, and strengthening our operations. Here’s a look at what each team accomplished in 2024:
Governance
The Governance team focused on enhancing internal controls and ensuring strong oversight:
Designed comprehensive frameworks covering governance, risk management, cybersecurity, human capital, and data retention. Completed 11 internal process audits, o ering optimization suggestions and preparing for 12 additional audits in 2025.
Strengthened key areas like risk management and operational e ciency, based on external consulting expert opinion.

The IT team focused on cybersecurity and system performance to support FlexFunds’ evolving needs:
Launched a cybersecurity training program to strengthen sta awareness and defense against cyber threats.
Upgraded the FlexTrader platform to enhance performance, stability, and alignment with business objectives.
Introduced advanced cybersecurity measures to safeguard data and maintain robust digital infrastructure.

Our commitment to the “Hermanas de la Misericordia” community in Caracas, Venezuela, continues to make a positive impact:
Spread holiday cheer with a Christmas celebration and gifts for the children.

Continued providing daily meals for over 100 children through our bakery and nutrition project.




Cultivated 500 plantains, 200 bananas, and 200 topochos for self-supply and future sales.




Business Services





Preschool roof replacement, done!

The Business Services team made significant strides in optimizing processes and improving e ciency:
Reduced issuance time to an average of 2.5 months with a CRM-integrated checklist and more flexible procedures.
Updated 83 existing processes and developed 5 new ones to enhance operational e ciency.
Strengthened post-issuance management with new engagement letters, and improved financial analysis for series valuation.
Improved client and service provider communication with timely notifications of upcoming requirements.
Automation of Maturity Date notifications to Service Solicitors and semi-automation of sending notifications for new series and new tranches to Service Providers.

Trading Team
Streamlined documentation for clarity
We improved the delivery of Global Note Programme (ETPCAP2, HFMX, etc.) ticket instructions by transitioning from email bodies to detailed PDF documents. These files now include our logo, issuer details, comprehensive instruction information, and disclaimers, making the process more organized and easier to follow.

Diversifying custodian partnerships
In 2024, we expanded our operations by establishing relationships with new custodians, including Morgan Stanley, Pershing, and Cantor Fitzgerald. supported by e cient onboarding processes, allow us to explore diverse opportunities and reduce concentration risks.

Bolstering compliance capabilities
The addition of Jimena to the team has strengthened GWM Ltd.’s compliance operations in Bermuda. With a dedicated department, we’ve enhanced the review and oversight of policies and evidence, creating a more structured and resilient compliance framework.
Customized policies for operational excellence
Between August and December, we undertook a comprehensive review of our processes and implemented updates to ensure that all policies reflect GWM Ltd.’s specific needs and objectives. These adjustments have further refined and strengthened our operational approach.
Product Operations Team
Legacy series redemptions: Progressing toward closure
In 2024, we prioritized the redemption of legacy series to focus on our new business model. By the end of the year, we successfully redeemed 15 out of 30 series, marking a significant milestone toward achieving our goal. This initiative will continue in 2025 to finalize the closure of the remaining notes.
Enhancing fee calculation processes
The team identified opportunities to improve the NAV calculation process, specifically in calculating product fees. These updates introduced greater control and coordination among teams like Accounting, ensuring a smoother and more streamlined workflow.
Issuer websites: Better data, better access
We’ve made significant advancements to the issuer websites, prioritizing data availability, user accessibility, and interface improvements. In 2024, we launched a file download tool, enabling users to access historical note prices in various formats, experience for stakeholders.

Integrating Morningstar: A global pricing service
In Q3 2024, we began onboarding Morningstar, a renowned financial services firm, to share pricing data for notes issued under FlexFunds’ program. Automation of the price-sharing process is underway, and we expect full integration by Q1 2025, with the

Finance & HR Team
Timely financial statement preparation
For the first time, issuer financial statements were prepared in-house, meeting CSP and auditor deadlines.
Audits completed on schedule!
Thanks to a streamlined preparation process, issuers' audits are consistently finalized within the fiscal year, ensuring timely and e cient completion.

FVC report optimization
The team took responsibility for the FVC report, adapting it to the complex template required by the CBI. With each quarter, the process has been optimized, progressively reducing adjustments and corrections.

A more efficient recruitment process
Recruitment was enhanced by introducing psychometric tests, allowing us to better understand and maximize new talent's skills. The time to hire has also improved significantly, with the Compliance Analyst role filled in under 2 months.
New Miami office secured!
After months of visits, negotiations, and calculations, we've secured a new o ce in the heart of Miami's financial district, keeping our presence at the core of the city’s business hub.

Compliance Team

A milestone in professional growth
Maria Victoria Montes was promoted to Deputy MLRO (DMLRO) of the company. This follows her certification as an Internationally Certified Compliance Professional by the Asociación Argentina de Ética y Compliance in collaboration with the International Federation of Compliance Associations.


Training for excellence
Company-wide sta training covered key compliance areas, including AML/CFT/TFS requirements in the Cayman Islands, ensuring a well-informed and prepared team.
Successful audits and process support
The Compliance team provided essential support for the evaluation of two internal processes, completing all requests from the Governance & Business Services team and achieving successful audit outcomes.
Enhancing security through technology

In collaboration with the IT team, the ShareFile platform was successfully implemented to mitigate technological and cybersecurity risks, reinforcing operational security.

Legal Team


Florencia Trevisi joins the team
Transitioning from HSBC Argentina to FlexFunds as Senior International Legal Counsel has been a rewarding journey for Florencia. Over her first six months, she has deepened her expertise in multijurisdictional financial transactions and regulatory frameworks while streamlining processes, building client trust, and crafting tailored legal strategies.

Pioneering new horizons in structured products
The Legal team has been actively exploring innovative opportunities to expand our o erings, including structured products and complex investment solutions like capital calls. These developments are paving the way for new growth, and the team is excited to bring these ideas to fruition this year. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this journey!

2024 was an outstanding year for the SoCo team: SoCo Team
New frontiers: Welcomed new clients into the FlexFunds portfolio while spearheading the creation of innovative solutions like FlexOpen Brazil.

Expansion in Brazil: Innovation in securitization
FlexFunds strengthened its presence in Brazil, revolutionizing investment access in the country with a securitization solution that facilitates international capital raising. Our ETP-based structure has optimized the o shore investment process, eliminating the need to establish a traditional fund and simplifying capital allocation through an e cient and accessible vehicle. This advancement has reduced costs and streamlined foreign investors' entry into the Brazilian market, marking a milestone in our expansion across Latin America.

The publication of the II Annual Report of the Asset Securitization Sector rea rms our leadership in the industry, o ering an in-depth analysis of trends and transformations in global asset management. With contributions from over 100 companies across Latin America, the U.S., Europe, and Asia, this report highlights the essential role of investment vehicles as strategic tools for adapting to an evolving market.
The findings reveal a significant shift in investment preferences, with a notable increase in the adoption of hybrid models and the consolidation of key tools for collective portfolio management. Its impact positions it as an essential resource for anticipating market trends and reinforcing our authority in the sector.


Key Trends Watch: A specialized voice in the i
This year, we strengthened our editorial presence with Key Trends Watch, an exclusive section in the specialized media outlet Funds Society, reinforcing our position as a leader in asset securitization. Through this platform, industry experts share their insights on trends and challenges in Latin America, Spain, and the U.S. O shore market. Renowned companies such as BFC Asesores (Mexico), Inviú (Argentina), BTG Pactual (Chile), Balanz Capital (Argentina), Sura (Chile), and LarrainVial (Uruguay) have participated in this initiative, furthering our commitment to sharing specialized knowledge.

FlexTraining 2024: Driving professional growth
In 2024, we strengthened FlexTraining as a key tool for talent development at FlexFunds. This year, we introduced workshops focused on Time Management and Negotiation Skills, enhancing our team's competencies and aligning their growth with the company’s strategic goals. Additionally, FlexFunds supports its team's technical training with essential certifications, reinforcing our strategic priorities in areas such as International Ethics & Compliance, CFA, ACAMS, and more.








Flexpeople
Cycling challenges
Roxana completed a challenge called "La Gran Vuelta", set in January in Venezuela, which involved cycling from Valencia to Pico del Águila (Mérida) and back. The journey covered 1,164 km with over 12,000 meters of elevation gain, accomplished in just six days. It was an exhausting, challenging, and truly fascinating adventure.


On the other hand, she reduced the time from 9 to 7 hours in the Gran Collado del Cóndor challenge, a demanding route that included an ascent with over 4,500 meters of accumulated elevation gain in 125 km to the summit of Collado del Cóndor, one of the most iconic spots in the region (Mérida-Venezuela).

From spreadsheets to sprints
Our Finance & HR team director took on a whole new kind of challenge this year—triathlons! Or, more specifically, duathlons. She crushed it in 7 competitions (including one Olympic distance), snagging several 1st-place finishes in her category. The cherry on top? She closed the year by securing 3rd place Overall in the Female Sprint Duathlon at Miami Man 2024, held at the Miami Zoo. Instead of a medal, she earned an adorable stu ed monkey—how cool is that?! ��
On two wheels: Emilio's longstanding motorcycling hobby
Emilio started riding bikes in Spain since he was 14. He used to wander around Madrid in a very old red Vespa, sneaking between lines of cars in very unorthodox way!
