On the road with two wheels, spending the night with flair If you'd start your bicycle tour in St. Petersburg, you couldn't miss it: The Flair Hotel Stadt Höxter is located directly Plan thoroughly, then on the R1 Europe pedal away bicycle path that runs across 3,500 kilometres up to Boulognesur-Mer near Calais. The Bed+Bike hotel has a fairytale-like location in the midst of Höxter with its half-timbered buildings. In contrast to that, you can cycle leisurely and comfortably down along the slow-flowing Weser River. And, for a change, why not also ride uphill without such a huge strain? A bicyclist's paradise as far as the eye can see: the Müritz

"Darn tooting, we've got it great here all right (Ei sischer, bei unns iss schee)!" At the small but elegant Flair-Hotel Hopfengarten, people are proud of their region. It is located in the picturesque timber-framed town of Miltenberg in the Spessart Forest. In the "Das Holzinger" restaurant, Mario Holzinger is creatively wielding the wooden spoon. He often draws on the traditions of the region: "We offer prime boiled beef, sauerbraten, ox cheeks, and fresh fish dishes." That alone would be delicious. But Mario Holzinger also only uses fresh produce from the region and adds a Mediterranean flair to it. Thus his creative culinary treats come into being for which he has been awarded the title "Flair Chef of the Year" in 2013.

Braised Jura Mountain thistle lamb with veg etables from the Knoblauchsla nd and au gratin potato es Serves 4 1.2 kg shoulder of lamb • 100 g root vegetables (celery, leek, onions, carrots) • 5 scallions • 1 clove of gar lic • 1 sprig of thyme • salt , pepper • 2 tbs vegeta ble oil Rub shoulder of lamb wit h salt and pepper from the mill. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot and roast meat gently until it's a golden brown. Add the diced roo t vegetables and garlic and fry with the meat. Deglaze with lamb stock, add spr ig of thyme, cover and let braise for about 2 hours.

Take the soft shoulder of lamb from the pot, strain sau ce, pressing out the veg etables thoroughly. Reduce sauce slightly, if needed , and thicken with cold fresh butter. Serve with the au gratin potatoes.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HOTEL ACCOMMODATION CONTRACTS (VERSION: APRIL 2012, IHA) SCOPE OF APPLICABILITY

WITHDRAWAL OF THE CUSTOMER (CANCELLATION, ANNULMENT)/ FAILURE TO USE HOTEL SERVICES (NO SHOW) The customer can only withdraw from the contract concluded with the hotel, if a right of withdrawal was explicitly agreed upon in the contract, another statutory right of withdrawal exists or if the hotel gives its explicit consent to the withdrawal. WITHDRAWAL OF THE HOTEL Insofar as it was agreed that the customer can withdraw from the contract at no cost within a certain period of time, the hotel is entitled for its part to withdraw from the contract during this period of time if inquiries from other customers regarding the contractually reserved rooms exist and the customer, upon inquiry thereof by the hotel with a reasonable deadline set, does not waive his right of withdrawal.

If an agreed advance payment or an advance payment or a security demanded pursuant to No. 3.6 and/or No. 3.7 is not made even after a reasonable grace period set by the hotelhas expired, then the hotel is likewise entitled to withdraw from the contract.

cause, in particular if force majeure or other circumstances beyond the hotel’s control render the fulfillment of the contract impossible; rooms or spaces are reserved with culpably misleading or false information or concealment regarding essential facts; the identity or solvency of the customer or the purpose of his stay can constitute essential facts; the hotel has justified cause to believe that use of the hotel’s services might jeopardize the smooth operation of the hotel, its security or public reputation, without being attributable to the hotel’s sphere of control or organization; the purpose or the cause of the stay is illegal; there is a breach of the abovementioned No. 1.2.

LIABILITY OF THE HOTEL The hotel is liable for harm inflicted on life, limb and physical health. Further it is liable for other damage caused with full intent or gross negligence or due to intentional or grossly negligent violation of obligations typical for the contract. A breach of obligation of the hotel is deemed to be the equivalent to a breach of a statutory representative or vicarious agent. All other claims for damages are excluded, if not determined differently in this No. 7.

Should disruptions or defects in the performance of the hotel occur, the hotel shall act to remedy such upon knowledge thereof or upon objection by the customer made without undue delay.
