Page 1

We are proud to once again sponsor the DT38 Charity Golf Day.

Not only does it raise awareness of the most common cancer affecting men aged 15 to 45, it also supports the amazing work Tracy Tombides and her team do.

Every year this day brings plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and memories that stick long after the last putt has dropped, & the 110 Stableford points required to win are recorded...!

First Response Site Services Ltd

For all your tool hire, site supplies & signage needs, ...always think First

Welcome to this First Response handy souvenir for the DT38 charity golf day held in August 2025.

The DT38 golf day has been running for a number of years and is probably the easiest to sell out on the charity circuit.

There is no better way than a golf day to raise awareness & money for a great cause, while having fun at the same time.

It doesn’t matter how well West Ham are doing in Europe or how they are struggling in the Premier League, players and fans always turn up for this great cause.

What is so unique about the charity is the amazing work Tracy Tombides, her family & helpers do running the DT38 charity.

Top of that for organising the golf day is Ian Morgan of E13 Events, who brings together fomer West Ham players, fans and friends in a unique way that raises money for this great charity.

First Response are the main sponsors of the event and they give up a lot of time & energy making this day work so well.

If you haven’t been to the day & evening be sure to speak to your contacts at First Response Site Services.

We start off with the golf, in your own four ball group or accompanied by a former West Ham player, who has given up their time to support the DT38 Charity Golf Day.

Then in the evening we have a meal, auction, chat about West Ham and have plenty of laughs along the way.

It’s the sign of a great day when nobody leaves early & everyone talks about West Ham and Dylan who’s number 38 shirt was retired by the club.

Ultimately the day is all about remembering Dylan, a former West Ham player, and how important it is that we raise awareness of Testicular Cancer.

If fun days like this can help to diagnose someone early & save their life, then Tracy and her family will have succeeded in their aim of saving lives.

See you all next year..!

My son, Dylan, was an incredible young man whose life and football career were cut tragically short by testicular cancer. From the moment he could walk, Dylan had a ball at his feet.

He worked tirelessly to follow his dream, and I was so proud to see him play for West Ham United and represent Australia; achievements that meant the world to him.

But more than his talent on the pitch, it was his courage and passion to be an advocate to raise awareness of testicular cancer, that continue to inspire me every day.

Dylan’s journey showed how vital early detection & education are for young men, because this disease is so often overlooked, yet it can be beaten if found in time.

In honour of Dylan, we started the DT38 Foundation, so that his story could become a catalyst for change.

Through education and open conversations, we aim to break the silence around testicular health. I now meet with individuals, schools, and organisations, both online and in person, to share what I’ve learned: the risk factors, the signs to look out for, and the importance of regular self-examinations.

By booking a meeting at dt38.org with me and my team, individuals, schools, and organizations can equip themselves with knowledge that could potentially save lives.

My greatest hope is to give men the knowledge and confidence to take charge of their health, and in doing so, to save lives.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone taking part in the DT38 Charity Golf Day, West Ham United, the sponsors, and to everyone who helps spread the word to promote Dylan’s legacy and educate future generations.

We are proud to be involved in the DT38 foundation & able to support the wonderful work that Tracy does in raising awareness of testicular cancer.

Her son Dylan was a member of the West Ham family & a rising International star. West Ham retired his number 38 shirt and the club has been a staunch supporter of Tracy’s charity, DT38.

Who ate all the pies?

Jimmy reminds Marlon that size isn’t everything, but he isn’t having it. But he is having Gravy, instead of liquor. Now that’s sacrilege!

Ace marksman Tony Cottee appears to disagree that size isn’t everything.

Strikers always have an excuse when they miss the target, why should golf be any different ...!

Shouts of “HIT IT WITH THE FAT END” seemeed to confuse this golfer.

The “NO LOOK”

‘where the f*k did that go?” trick shot.

Must be a Paolo DiCanio fan.....!

100% of donations received by the DT38 Foundation go towards raising awareness of testicular cancer.

If you would like to help the DT38 Foundation, they would be forever grateful and so would the families who would otherwise be affected by this terrible disease.

From spreading the word about the risks of the disease through awareness campaigns, to promoting the DT38 FREE testicular screenings, to educating children about the importance of health and wellbeing and equipping them with the necessary knowledge about testicular cancer, it all costs money.

It all means that someone, somewhere, at any time, will find a lump on their testicles & now do something about it. To donate, please visit: https://dt38.org/donations-uk or scan the QR Code.

The DT38 Foundation has been set up in memory of Dylan James Tombides. Dylan was an Australian International & West Ham United professional football player who passed away aged 20 in April 2014 after a three year battle with testicular cancer.

The West Ham Family thought so highly of Dylan that they retired his number 38 and made DT38 one of their principal charities.

The charity has been formed as a result of Dylan being misdiagnosed.

Our vision is to change the way testicular cancer is diagnosed by implementing best practice diagnostic guidelines for patients who present with testicular symptoms.

We also aim to arm future generations of young men with the necessary knowledge about testicular cancer that will enable them to be confident when taking health matters into their own hands.

Our mission is to raise awareness & change the stigma associated with men’s health issues with a focus on testicular cancer. We aim to do this through educational programs and opportunities for the youth of our community, to shape a generation of children who are self-aware about their health and wellbeing.

Our main goals are to:-

Drive the SELF-AWARENESS campaign for the early detection of testicular cancer.

Focus on youth EDUCATION through various teaching programmes aligned to national curriculum

Partnering with the COMMUNITY to promote the changes needed for increased male awareness and openness towards discussing their health matters

Collaborating with GOVERNING BODIES to foster a best practice mentality for the early detection of testicular cancer.
