Newarc R7000
Gouging Unit
R7000 CC MMA / Arc Air Gouging Inverter has been specifically designed for MMA and Arc-Air gouging.
The unit delivers an impressive 700 amps of welding output current at 80% duty cycle making it suitable for use in any working environment. This high performance unit is also versatile enough to offer the fine control needed for intricate piping, tank and pressure vessel work.
The R7000 also offers energy and cost saving solutionscompared with conventional Arc-Air machines due to its high efficiency and power factor.

MCT Calibration & Safety Testing
A welding machine should be maintained and calibrated every 12 months with precision grade equipment requiring a 6 monthly check.
Although Electrical Safety Testing of Welding Equipment is not a mandatory requirement, there is a responsibility to ensure the equipment is electrically safe to use.
A certificate is provided for each machine and will confirm the welding equipment conforms to the IEC 60974-4 and is electrically safe to use. If necessary we can carry out in-house repairs to ensure the equipment passes the test.

Hire equipment, buy consumables & have your equipment tested, serviced and repaired.
LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) Safety Test
This is a mandatory, examination of a fume extraction system to ensure it is protecting workers from harmful welding fumes and dust.
This LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) test must be performed by a competent person at least every 14 months, as required by the COSHH regulations.
The process involves a visual inspection,measuring of the airflow, and checking that the system meets its designed performance. This report must be kept for a minimum of five years.
Welding Equipment Servicing & Repairs
We provide on site repairs to welding equipment.
This can be to support testing or to overhaul or repair welding equipment that is not working safely or as it should.

SCS Family Fun Day
We were delighted to support the HS2 Fun Day organized by SCS Railways.
This event was a wonderful opportunity for the SCS joint venture to give back to those working on the demanding project and to show appreciation to the operatives and their families.
At our stand, we provided a football and baseball inflatable, hosted competitions, and handed out sweets and drinks.
Our activities were a hit, and we were glad to have contributed to a day of enjoyment and gratitude for all involved.
