There is also a village hall in Exton as well as the multi-award winning Hambleton Bakery selling mouthwatering wares. Exton has its own very good primary school, as does nearby Cottesmore, and for secondary education Exton is not far from much sought after state and private schools. The Exton Park Estate is a haven for walkers with a myriad of footpaths and bridleways enabling people to walk from Exton to Greetham and Empingham using the Viking Way and other paths some of which are private tarmacked roads.
