A letter to our clients and friends, In 2021 the Findorff team was guided by our core purpose and our core values of perpetuation, people, and excellence.

We welcomed nine new shareholders to the leadership team continuing our commitment to the perpetuation of the company.

We focused on the health, the safety, and the advancement of our people. Finally, we were recognized by more professional organizations than in any other year for our projects' excellence.

Altogether, employees demonstrated resilience, innovation, and commitment to our clients and the community.

Community service has remained an important part of Findorff’s culture since the beginning. Through financial and in-kind contributions, we make it a priority to support many area organizations that positively impact the lives of our families, friends, and neighbors.

We are proud to have hundreds of Findorff employees give so generously through volunteering, serving on boards and committees, and helping others in need.

it's big to us This last year, we noticed a significant trend in the types of construction projects our clients requested. While many of our field and project management staff were engaged in larger-sized projects, the number of smaller-scale projects increased by nearly 20%.

There is demand for cost-effective and smaller-scale solutions for projects of all shapes and sizes, and Findorff has been meeting that need for decades. Findorff's Special Projects Group is exclusively dedicated to executing prompt and competitively priced projects.

This group provides solutions for clients interested in work ranging from tenant build-outs to building code and ADA upgrades. They carry through all levels of work with the same precision and expertise as any other Findorff project.

New Partnerships lead to diverse success

Participation in Findorff's mentorship protégé program saw continued success in 2021. Project leaders on SSM Health's South Madison Campus and CUNA Mutual Group's The Lighthouse building set specific goals around workforce diversity and inclusion. The project teams exceeded all goals.

SSM Health's project team partnered with the Urban League of Greater Madison, Operation Fresh Start, and nearly a dozen minorityowned, women-owned, and small business enterprise companies.

This project team worked to provide on-the-job training and cultivate relationships between these diverse firms, with a workplace inclusion goal of 8%. The project, which will be complete in February 2022, exceeded that goal with roughly 23% of the work to date performed by minority, women, disabled, or veteran workers.

CUNA Mutual Group's new building is slated for completion this summer. Early in the project, leaders set specific goals around diversity, equity, and inclusion. The team was challenged to meet or exceed 8% diversity workforce participation, which currently stands at 24% achieved. An 8% engagement with women and minorityowned businesses providing products utilized on the project was also identified. Recently, the team exceeded that goal by nearly double.

This year we shared an especially significant and exciting announcement about the expansion of company ownership.

Nine members of the senior leadership team were promoted to Findorff Shareholders. These talented individuals include Jason Mattila, Luke Hutchins, Bob Hougard, John Feller, Christin Mlsna, Matt Breunig, Jim Martin, Ben Pechan, and Eric Plautz. They join the current Findorff ownership team of President and CEO Jim Yehle, and Executive Vice Presidents Brian Hornung, Jeff McLean, and Jeff Tubbs in guiding the strategic direction of Findorff.

This expanded team of leaders is excited to continue partnership with organizations whose strong commitment and investment in people and their field continue to change the landscape of our community. Together, they look forward to 2022 with hope, optimism, and appreciation.
