2024 Impact Report
In 2024, Finally Home worked diligently to build partnerships and expand our ability to support foster, adoptive, and kinship families both geographically and programmatically.
Throughout the year, collaboration opportunities presented themselves in ways we never expected. As we continue to build our capacity to serve families, we are grateful to be providing our trauma-informed, researchbased training to more and more families across the country.
• Created a Hotline that allows families to interact with our team via video, audio, or text when they need additional support.
• Expanded our Revive and Thrive Family Support Initiative to include services beyond mental health scholarships. Our families are now called each month to check in and provide support.
• Expanded our partnerships with Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) and FaithbridgeU and added a new partnership with Gloo.
• Launched the Family Journey Show. This live show features conversations with experts alongside members of our team as they discuss critical topics which foster, adoptive, and kinship families can benefit. Topics have included advocating for your child in school, dealing with shame vs. guilt, creating new family traditions, and more. These episodes stream on Facebook and YouTube.
• Created a new Solid Rock Students workbook and training program named, “The ‘Be Somebody and Belong’ Workbook for Teens,” which will be available online for all families to use. The first training was held at Platte Valley Detention Center, where eight youth worked through the program 1:1 with mentors. The training was so successful that we have been asked to develop more programs.
• Launched new interactive versions of our Parents as Models and Parents as Leaders. They are now available online for families to access as needed and to earn CEU hours.
• Utilized the Google Ad Grant, spending nearly $100,000 in free Google Ad money in 2024 to expand our reach nationwide. This helps us share our online and virtual resources with more families, including a large population of families in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles.

2025 Initiative-Based Opportunities
National Support of Belize Children’s Homes
In 2023 Finally Home was asked to deliver a pilot initiative serving a children’s home in Belize that cares for kids who have been removed from living situations where they have suffered severe abuse.
The initiative included:
• Training Belizeans to facilitate a customized version of our SuperHero Academy program for the children
• Gifting a Toolkit for BIG Emotions to each child, along with supplemental training for caretakers on how to best use the kits
The results were so powerful we have been asked by the coalition that oversees every children’s home in Belize to replicate this initiative in each of the country’s 12 children’s homes. We have taken a step of faith and accepted this invitation to serve every orphan in Belize in 2025!
There are currently twelve children’s homes that need sponsors, impacting roughly 200 orphans.
• $250 provides one child with a Toolkit for BIG Emotions, Vacation Bible School curriculum, and specialized caretaker training
• $2,500 provides 50% of a children’s home with Toolkits for Big Emotions, VBS curriculum, and specialized caretaker training
• $5,000 provides every child in one children’s home with a Toolkit for BIG Emotions, VBS Curriculum, and specialized caretaker training
Revive and Thrive Family Support Initiative
Launched in 2023, this initiative supports foster, kinship, and adoptive families with specialized trauma therapy access by creating a funding coalition that provides financial support from Finally Home, aiding in securing discounts from therapy providers and advocating for additional funding support from churches and other community sources.
In 2024, we have a goal of serving at least 60 families through this initiative. Funds raised through this initiative directly support individual families in their time of crisis.
Families selected through the application process receive:
• Up to $3,000 in initial financial support for family members that need mental health treatment. These funds are paid from Finally Home directly to the service provider.
• Access to our team to leverage matching funds from service providers, churches, community partners, and the family’s support network.
• One-on-one coaching/mentoring from trained and certified Finally Home team members as well as access to our online and inperson research-based programs, tools, and resources.
Families seeking financial support must be referred to the Revive and Thrive Family Support Initiative through Finally Home’s network of church and agency partners. Applications outside of this network are not currently being accepted. Funds may be restricted to families within a certain geographical region as designated by the funding organization. Applications for financial support are reviewed by a committee.
