


Since 2021, LIGHTS at Fernwood has attracted more than 40,000 visitors and generated important revenue to support our mission to enrich people’s lives by awakening and deepening their appreciation of nature. Visitors come from across southwest Michigan and northwest Indiana and beyond.
Electronic media has been a very effective way to reach our audience with more than 14,100 friends on Facebook, 4,450 followers on Instagram, and 19,000 recipients of Fernwood’s monthly e-newsletter. Our website, which attracts nearly 125,000 annual visits, is also useful for communicating with our growing number of constituents, including more than 43,000 visitors and 2,500 member households. We utilized all these interfaces, onsite banners, and video screens to acknowledge and promote our LIGHTS 2023 supporters and sponsors.
