Doggie In The Window

IN BUSINESS FOR ALMOST 21 YEARS, DOGGIE IN THE WINDOW OFFERS AN IDEAL LOCATION FOR PAMPERING YOUR POOCH.

At the 20,000 square foot facility, dogs can receive daycare, boarding, and grooming services. They will be doted on by the staff, many of whom are dog owners themselves.

Customers throughout Metro Detroit seek out DITW when their puppies need daycare and other services. With the consent of your veterinarian, trained staff will conduct an initial evaluation. Your pet will also receive a healthy lunch. One of the things that makes DITW stand out is that their dogs are out socializing for 12 hours a day.

THE FACILITY HAS PROTOCOLS IN PLACE should the staff discover that your pooch is not feeling well. Your pet can take advantage of the Vet Tech room, where there is a separate ventilation system and where she or he will be monitored frequently by the staff. Once you have been contacted about your pet’s status, you will be given the option of having a qualified veterinarian on staff evaluate your pet’s condition. Should your pet need further assistance, you or your emergency contacts will be called so that additional arrangements can be made.

"Our dog seems to really enjoy going to daycare," said Kathleen G. of Detroit. "He comes home exhausted and doesn't get nervous about being dropped off. This makes me comfortable, and I believe he enjoys it. Most recently, we boarded him and everything was easy. He was well taken care of. I love the pictures they post on Facebook and Instagram."

THE FACILITY HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO MEET THE NEEDS of a variety dogs. There are areas for both small dogs and larger dogs, as well as special locations for dogs who require a calmer environment because of their temperament or age.

Before your dog can become a client, Wendy Luczak, the owner, will conduct a New Pet Evaluation (NPE) to determine if your dog is a good fit for the services and program offered at DITW. As a client, your dog will receive the utmost care and attention, just like a member of the family, assures Luczak
