CARTA EDITORIAL EDITORIAL LETTER FERNANDO FAZZARI Estamos cumpliendo un año de exponer el desarrollo de nuestros artistas a través de ROSTER. Esta publicación empezó en agosto 2021 solo como una idea, de ahí se lanzó la primera edición en forma de piloto, y al poco tiempo empezábamos a ver los resultados, algunos buenos y otros que necesitábamos estudiar más a fondo para solucionar y cambiar.

Seguimos creciendo, nuestra idea es de seguir igual, de darle promoción a los artistas representados y asociados en MFM+. Cada mes vamos a ir implementando cosas nuevas, el equipo formado por María Fernanda Campos, Vicente Carcaño, Mauricio Aziz, y Karla Palacios, trabajan para innovar y lograr que ROSTER siga creciendo.

Gracias a ellos, a los artistas, y por supuesto a todos los que se toman el tiempo de leer, o simplemente ir a los links para ver o escuchar el contenido.

El 20 de agosto vamos a salir con el primer podcast, y esperamos que también sea de su agrado.

We are celebrating a year of exposing the development of our artists through ROSTER. This publication started in August 2021 just as an idea, from there the first edition was launched as a pilot, and shortly after we began to see the results, some good and others that we needed to study further to solve and change.

We continue to grow, our idea is to remain the same, to promote the artists represented and associated with MFM+. Every month we are going to implement new things, the team formed by María Fernanda Campos, Vicente Carcaño, Mauricio Aziz, and Karla Palacios, work to innovate and ensure that ROSTER continues to grow.

“A simple woman, mother, happy and lover of people, my family and my country Colombia. An artist always inspired by my culture and the emotions of other people and mine. A warrior and as we say in Colombia "Echada para adelante". ¿Cómo nació “PLAYA”?

“Esta canción nació de un trabajo hecho con mucho amor con mi amigo y productor Nicolas Mayorca. Teníamos el propósito y visión de hacer un sencillo que ayudará a subirle el ánimo al público en un tiempo tan caótico. Queríamos transportar a las personas a una playa para que por esos minutos de la canción se olviden de los estreses y complicaciones de la vida sobre todo en estos tiempos de incertidumbre”.

How was “PLAYA” born?

“This song was born from a job done with a lot of love with my friend and producer Nicolas Mayorca. We had the purpose and vision to make a single that will help uplift the spirits of the public in such a chaotic time. We wanted to transport people to a beach so that for a few minutes of the song they forget about the stresses and complications of life, especially in these times of uncertainty”. ¿Qué se siente representar a Colombia en el exterior y tus raíces?

“Me siento orgullosa de decir de donde vengo. Para mi mi país no tiene comparación. Amo la alegría, bondad, humildad y pasión de mi gente colombiana. Siempre tengo presente a Colombia en todo lo que hago”.

How does it feel to represent Colombia abroad and your roots?

“I am proud to say where I come from. For me, my country has no comparison. I love the joy, kindness, humility and passion of my Colombian people. I always have Colombia present in everything I do”.

¿Cómo será el video de esta canción para tus oyentes, qué podemos esperar del video?

“Es un video que representa la vibra de la canción. Fue hecho en San Diego California donde las playas son muy lindas, alegres. El video fue dirigido por mi y hecho en compañía de un gran amigo mío Grant Bell que ha trabajado con artistas como Billie Eilish. El video es completamente de Kat Pulgarin. De la manera en que visto a la manera en que fue grabado y la historia que se desarrolla en el video. Mucha playa y amor”.

What will the video of this song be like for your listeners, what can we expect from the video?

“It's a video that represents the vibe of the song. It was made in San Diego California where the beaches are very beautiful, happy. The video was directed by me and produced by a great friend of mine Grant Bell who has worked with artists like Billie Eilish. The video is entirely by Kat Pulgarin, from the way I am dressed, to the way it was recorded, plus the story line that unfolds in the video. Lots of beach and love”.

DI WAV SE POSICIONA EN EL TOP 5 RUMBO AL CONCIERTO MAS GRANDE DEL AÑO EN HOLLYWOOD BOWL DI WAV GETS CLOSER AND CLOSER TO THE BIG SHOW

Audacy es una de las empresas mas importantes de Radio y de comunicaciones en los Estados Unidos, está en la búsqueda de un artista que pueda ser el acto que comience con las actividades de su “Concierto más grande del año”. La cantante Di WAV tiene el objetivo de formar parte de este show, representando a las mujeres, a su natal Guatemala y a la comunidad latina en Estados Unidos, por lo que busca el apoyo de su público para lograr obtener esta oportunidad.

El “Concierto más grande del año” se llevará a cabo en el Hollywood Bowl de Los Ángeles en el mes de septiembre. El año pasado participaron artistas de la talla de Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Doja Cat o Shawn Mendes, por mencionar solo algunos.

Después de semanas de votación, DI WAV esta en el Top 5 de su grupo, dejando atrás a más de 50 artistas concursantes. Para que pueda continuar y ser parte de este magno concierto, simplemente hay que entrar a su respectivo perfil en The Open Act y emitir un voto a su favor para pasar a la siguiente ronda. Se puede votar cada 24 horas de forma gratuita. La votación de esta etapa concluirá el 18 de agosto a las 8 PM, hora local de Los Ángeles.

Di WAV continúa promoviendo su sencillo “Ataúd” y anteriormente dio a conocer “333”. Ambos temas formarán parte de su próximo álbum de estudio y que fueron realizados en conjunto con los ganadores del Grammy y Latin Grammy, Reuven Amiel y Marthin Chan, quienes también fungen como los productores de este próximo material.

Audacy is one of the most important broadcast companies in the USA. They are looking for an artist who can be the open act of their biggest concert of the year. The singer/songwitter Di WAV has the goal of being part of this event, representing women, Guatemala and latin community in USA, so she seeks the support of the public to obtain this opportunity.

The Audacy's biggest concert of the year will take place at the Hollywood Bowl of Los Angeles in September. Artists like Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Doja Cat or Shawn Mendes participated last year.

After weeks of voting, Di WAV is in the Top 5 of her group, leaving behind more than 50 contestant artists. Just go to the Di WAV's profile in the website of The Open Act and vote for her to go to the next round and be part of the concert. You can make a vote every 24 hours for free. This round of voting will ends on 18 august at 8 PM PDT. Di WAV continues to promote her release “Ataúd” and previously presented “333”. Both songs will be part of her new album and be realized in collaboration with Grammy and Latin Grammy winners Reuven Amiel and Marthin Chan, who are also the producers.

"Hay bandas con una buena propuesta, y bandas con las que ya hemos compartido escenario antes. Nos emociona ver su evolución en este tiempo."

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE OTHER BANDS ON THE SIGN? "There are bands with a good proposal, and bands with whom we have shared the stage before. We are excited to see your evolution this time."

¿QUE LES RECOMIENDAN A LAS BANDAS QUE QUIEREN SALIR DE TOUR? "Tienen que perder el miedo a luchar por lo que quieren, pero sobre todo comprometerse con ellos mismos, ya que estar arriba de un escenario es de las cosas más maravillosas, pero es un compromiso con el público para darles el mejor show y disfruten."

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND TO THE BANDS THAT WANT TO GO ON TOUR? "They have to lose their fear of fighting for what they want, but above all, commit to themselves, since being on stage is one of the most wonderful things, but it is a commitment to the public to give them the best show and enjoy."

"Es una relación de admiración por ambas partes, sus palabras hacia nuestro trabajo fueron de admiración a nuestro trabajo en equipo para lograr nuestras metas y el como sumamos en cada fecha que los acompañamos. Yde nuestra parte admiramos y aprendemos de ellos, el cómo poder desarrollarnos como proyecto en la industria musical de México, y como en dar un show digno de disfrutar. Estamos felices de tener estas experiencias junto a esta banda."

We see on your social media that CHDKF has been sharing and following you, how has your relationship been with this band?

"It is a relationship of admiration on both sides, their words towards our work were of admiration in how we work as a team to achieve our goals and add up on each date that we accompany them, and on our part we admire and learn from them how to develop as a project. in the Mexican music industry and in giving a show worth enjoying. We are happy to have these experiences together with this band."

Ahora nos deleitara con su gran voz en una versión regional mexicana, la cual se estrenará este 16 de Septiembre junto a su nuevo disco, esto como un homenaje a las fiestas patrias de México.

Priscila Ninoska planea visitar México y tener varias presentaciones, donde estamos seguros conquistara estas tierras.

Uno de los momentos más destacados que siempre guardo cerca de mi corazón fue cuando fui nominado a mi 2nd GRAMMY por "Mejor Álbum de Pop Latino" por mi disco "Individual". Fue muy especial porque era un álbum en el que había trabajado con mi viejo amigo y gran músico "Brendan Buckley". Fue, creo, el único álbum independiente nominado ese año (2006) en todas las categorías de los premios Anglo GRAMMY. Aunque no ganamos, poder ir a la ceremonia en Los Ángeles, caminar por la alfombra roja, ir al espectáculo y estar rodeado de los mejores músicos de la época fue una victoria para mí en sí misma."

"I fortunately have had many special moments throughout the years in my music career. One of the highlights that I always hold close to my heart was when I was nominated for my 2nd GRAMMY for "Best Latin Pop Album" for my record "Individual". It was extra special because it was an album that I had worked on with my long time friend and great musician "Brendan Buckley". It was, I believe, the only independent album nominated that year (2006) in all the categories in the Anglo GRAMMY awards. Although we didn't win, getting to go to the ceremony in Los Angeles, walk the red carpet, go to the show and be surrounded by the top musicians of that time was a victory for me in itself."
