Um die Herstellung der minimalistischen Möbelserie möglichst unkompliziert zu gestalten, wird auf ein Standardprodukt der Industrie zurückgegriffen –Aluminiumblech. Mittels Laser wird die Kontur des Möbels ausgeschnitten und durch gezielte Kantungen in seine sehr stabile Dreidimensionalität gebracht. Besonders interessant ist der Umgang mit der verwendeten Materialität in Bezug auf ihre Nachhaltigkeit. Mit dem heutigen Stand der Technik ist es möglich, das verwendete Aluminium im Rohstoffkreislauf so zu zirkulieren, dass langfristig kein Qualitätsverlust entsteht und eine Energieeinsparung von bis zu 95% im Vergleich zur Primärerzeugung erreicht werden kann.

To make the production of the minimalist furniture series as uncomplicated as possible, a standard industrial product is used - sheet aluminium. The contour of the furniture is cut out by laser and brought into its very stable three-dimensionality through targeted bending. What is particularly interesting is the way the material used is handled in terms of its sustainability. With today's technology, it is possible to recycle the aluminium used in such a way that in the long term there is no loss of quality and an energy saving of up to 95% can be achieved compared to primary production.
