SHREDDING & RECYCLING IN FAYETTEVILLE Saturday’s shredding and recycling event in the Fayetteville City Hall parking lot was a big success, as many residents brought their documents to be shredded and their glass to be recycled. The event, which is organized by the City Clerk’s Office, was originally scheduled to take place as part of the annual Georgia Cities Week celebration, April 19-25. It has been postponed to October 4-10. 4/20 4/26

Held a lunch meeting with Steve Mauro of Comprehensive Program Services to discuss the amphitheater and new city hall projects

Held a teleconference with Public Information Officer Ann Marie Burdett and Marketing Specialist Justin Crum to discuss the new City logo

Prepared a transitional plan for reopening City buildings to the general public

Held a teleconference with Community Development Director David Rast to discuss the April 28 Planning & Zoning Commission meeting

Held a teleconference to discuss City buildings reopening plan with Assistant City Manager Alan Jones, Finance Director Mike Bush, Technology Director Kelvin Joiner, and Human Resources Director Nella Cooper

Participated in a teleconferece with developer Joel Embry, Fayette County Development Authority President Joan Young, and Community Development Director David Rast regarding a proposed data center

Held a teleconference with Mayor Ed Johnson, Councilman Rich Hoffman, Downtown Development Director Brian Wismer, and Fayette County Development Authority Vice President Megan Baker to discuss the reopening of businesses

Held a teleconference with Attorney Blake Sharpton, Community Development Director David Rast, and Downtown Development Director Brian Wismer to discuss the lease agreement for the Bus Barn and Historic Gymnasium on the New City Hall site
