CITY CLERK’S OFFICE ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Met with PIO Ann Marie Burdett on business cards and e-mail signatures 7/21; attended new Holiday Inn Express ribbon cutting 7/22.

Projects: Ordered Comprehensive Annual Financial Report books; assisted Finance Department with security maintenance requests.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 58 new, 72 closed.

Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the new City Hall building; continued reviewing audio-visual plan for new City Hall; set up court for PTC; continued with documents retention program; set up new Dell desktop computers; VLAN project connecting IT to the Police building; new server and backup system; trial run for probation office virtual hearings; reviewed and responded to numerous City project e-mails; security app install and configuration.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Met with Roundtown group regarding immediate and future plans in the city; attended new Holiday Inn Express ribbon cutting; Participated in Urban3 video conference to discuss additional services, including tools to measure financial impacts of proposed developments; attended the monthly Fayette County Development Authority meeting; pre-bid conference for the Stonewall Avenue road diet.

Main Street: Held monthly Main Street Tourism Association board meeting; held discussions with artists regarding amphitheater concert schedules; attended September 11 event planning meeting; amphitheater preparation for Georgia Military College graduation ceremony and AV Pride town hall event.

PIO / COMMUNICATIONS TEAM ANN MARIE BURDETT Promotions: U.S. Census Complete Count.

Meetings Attended: Met with Marketing Specialist Justin Crum and City Manager Ray Gibson to discuss logo and branding 7/21; Communications Team 7/21 and 7/22; Governor’s Public Safety Required Use of Force and Deescalation Training Course at the Fayetteville Police Department 7/23.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Chief Scott Gray and Deputy Chief Robert Mask attended the annual Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police summer training conference in Savannah. The topics included: ยก Leading in a diverse culture ยก Gangs and their impact on communities ยก Problems and solutions for agencies with fewer than 75 officers ยก The process of new accreditation standards

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Events: Our department provided medical standby services for the Georgia Military College graduation ceremony on Saturday afternoon and evening. We thank the Feeding the Heroes Foundation, which provided a cookout on Sunday for on-duty first responders.

Projects: Holmatro Extrication Equipment annual service completed. We replaced the wooden fence around the Station 91 generator. Deputy Chief Linda Black attended various webinars throughout the week with Georgia Department of Public Health officials and other medical associations regarding COVID-19.

Daily cleaning and sanitizing of self-contained breathing apparatus continues.

Division Chief Jeff Gable continues to update the COVID-19 Incident Action Plan.

PUBLIC SERVICES DEPT. CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall and Police Department; cut and maintained the south end of North Jeff Davis Drive from East Lanier Avenue to Georgia Avenue, the Grady Avenue roundabout, the fountain area, North Glynn Street from Georgia Avenue to Don Easterbrook Way, Church Street Park, North Jeff Davis Drive from Kathi Avenue to Jeff Davis Place, West Lanier Avenue medians, the amphitheater, City Hall, Lane Brown Gazebo, Veterans Memorial at Patriot Park, and the City lakes. Repaired the roadway at Hidden Brook Trail, repaired a sidewalk in Heaton Lakes, and replaced a broken stop sign and pole on Beckett Lane.

Sewer: Average daily flow treated was 2.01 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift station sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Water: Average daily flow of 1.27 million gallons of system demand; repaired 4 water leaks; performed maintenance on 18 water meters; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Utility Locates: 68

HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT. NELLA COOPER Personnel: Continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; continuing to focus on COVID-19 and federal and state requirements relating to City employees; continuing to review various reports and updates related to COVID-19 in order to remain in compliance; keeping spreadsheet updated for potential City employee pandemic cases; requesting proper leave forms to be completed by employees who are out of work due to COVID-19-related absences; working with Georgia Municipal Employees Benefit System to finalize all pension plan documents; preparing new proposed pension plan documents for employee discussion meetings and the City Council presentation.
