“Some colours don’t just belong to a land, they belong to a longing. Some melodies, once sung, echo across all borders ”

In the hush before dawn, as our Tiranga unfurls itself across oceans and city skylines, a quiet miracle takes place. Each thread tells tales of sacrifice. Of mothers waiting at doorways, of poets waiting in the rain, of freedom won and freedoms rebuilt every day in the hearts of millions who call themselves Indian and carry the vibrant pulse wherever they go

This ‘Sindoor-e-Azaadi’ edition is my tribute, your tribute woven with the sindoor of our collective longings, the azaadi of our shared stories, and the rituals of unity, peace, and progress that define us across continents Within these pages, you will meet entrepreneurs and educators, musicians and mystics, mothers, daughters, and dreamers, each offering their truth to the growing legacy. Each voice from our Christian, Baniya, Bohra, Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Jain, and Sufi traditions adds to the growing legacy of harmony.

Seventy-nine years since that midnight when India awoke not just to life and freedom, but to the deeper possibilities of what it means to belong, to build, to be. As Bharat ki beti and a resident of the world, I see this edition as an invocation: may we remember the battles our grandparents fought, may we water the saplings of their sacrifice with our compassion, and may we light new lamps for a generation seeking meaning, progress, and peace
“May every shade of our tricolour find a home in every prayer. May our independence always rhyme with innocence And may the bridges we build be wider than the distances between us ”
Join me, in turning each page with awe, with love - knowing that freedom is as much breath as it is banner, as much kindness as it is anthem. Let Sindoor-e-Azaadi become an inheritance passing from hand to hand, heart to heart, crafting unity in every syllable
Jai Hind, Dr. Bubbles Kandhari

In Abu Dhabi, the BAPS Hindu Mandir stands as a celebration of partnership, culture, and shared vision Its story is extraordinary: land donated by a Muslim ruler, a Christian lead architect, a Buddhist foundation designer, a Sikh project director, a Zoroastrian construction f irm, a Jain chairman, and a chief consultant with no aff iliation, each contributing to what is now called a “spiritual oasis for global harmony ”
His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj describes the Mandir as “ a home for all, a sanctuary not only for worshippers, but for values the world needs most: understanding, compassion, and togetherness ” For Swami Brahmaviharidas, it is “built not with bricks and stones, but with prayers and blessings. Behind the mesmerizing visible Mandir, lies the galvanizing invisible values: the universal values of love, peace and harmony. It sings the ancient Indian song of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family; but speaks not only to the Indian soul, but to the universal heart ”
This approach to inclusion is echoed in visits by local Emiratis and expatriates, who discover a space that welcomes all backgrounds The Mandir brings together families, children, and interfaith leaders, encouraging open dialogue and appreciation for diverse cultures The immersive show “The Fairy Tale” captures pivotal moments from the very f irst prayers in Sharjah by His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, to the land grant by the UAE President, to the inauguration led by Mahant Swami Maharaj and Prime Minister Modi
Abu Dhabi is described within the Mandir as an “Epicenter of Harmony ” The celebrations and daily life within its walls reflect tolerance and friendship values that def ine both India’s and the UAE's spiritual and diplomatic traditions The events here reinforce a message: “Today, the BAPS Hindu Mandir in the UAE is not just a historic and iconic place on earth. It has become a cosmic beacon. A beacon of humanity and harmony; beacon of peace, purity and purpose. And above all, a beacon for all life in the universe, that in harmony, lies happiness,” says Swami Brahmaviharidas
Recognition for the Mandir’s visionary design and message is globally honoured with the MONDO-DR Award for House of Worship, the MEED Project Award, MEP Awards, and praise at the World Architecture Festival

The goal is steady. Build systems that help caregivers work better & help patients feel safer. His method is practical. First teach the team. Then equip them well. Then measure outomes.
Leader Healthcare has shown this at international platforms including Arab Health, where the group demonstrated hands-on use of new tools. His creative lane runs in parallel. A naval architect by training, he wrote and directed DAM 999, with the screenplay archived at the Oscar library; he also produced an award-winning documentary on the Mullaperiyar dam. In 2015 he launched Project Indywood to give Indian cinema a larger global footprint pairing festivals and markets like ALIIFF and the Indywood Film Market with plans for training, studios, and exhibition. The idea was not just to screen f ilms but to strengthen the ecosystem around them.

Good healthcare is part science, part systems, and part simple kindness Dr Sherbaz Bichu works at all three levels A clinician by training and a hospital leader by practice, he serves as CEO of Aster Hospitals & Clinics in the UAE, guiding a network built to deliver reliable care at neighborhood distance. His path to the corner off ice runs through the clinic. MBBS from JSS Medical College, an MD in Anaesthesiology, and years of hands-on work before stepping into leadership. That clinical grounding shows up in the way he talks about operations, measures what matters, f ix what breaks and keep the patient experience in clear view.
Under his watch, Aster has paired growth with community focus. Recent expansions on the clinic side widened access across the Emirates, while hospital teams pushed quality, safety, and patient education as daily habits rather than one-off projects Recognition followed, including the UAE Innovation Award (Silver, 2022) for Aster Pharmacy and Hospital
Partnerships have been a steady tool Aster’s cooperation with the Taqdeer Award program targeted better healthcare access for blue-collar workers, a practical way to make dignity tangible for people who keep the city running The Emirates NBD “Pink ATM” collaboration used the everyday act of banking to spread breast-cancer awareness, turning a public touchpoint into health education at scale These are small hinges that move big doors
There’s also a child-f irst streak to his public work Aster’s superhero-themed campaign puts preventive health in a language children enjoy, meeting families with information before illness does

“To serve is to put others before yourself. Whether this be in the temple surroundings or executives in a boardroom, putting others first helps to instil confidence and trust”
Trust is the quiet currency of any community. For over twenty-f ive years, Amit Singh Fogaat has worked to protect it and build systems that keep customers, banks, and everyday transactions safe. Trained in India and based in Dubai since 2006, he brings deep practical experience in fraud risk and f inancial-crime prevention, along with a habit of steady learning. Amit’s career threads through leading institutions such as ICICI Bank and IDBI in India; Emirates NBD and Barclays in the UAE; and today, R AKBANK, where he has helped design frameworks that balance innovation with caution so progress doesn’t outrun protection His work is about fewer victims, faster recoveries, and teams that can act with clarity when minutes matter
That steadiness has earned trust well beyond the off ice Law-enforcement agencies across the Emirates including Dubai Police, Abu Dhabi Police, Sharjah Police, R AK Police, and Dubai Tourism Police have formally acknowledged his support on cases that needed cross-agency coordination Inside the profession, he gives back as a speaker and mentor, sharing practical tools with younger risk and compliance teams and keeping ethics and accountability at the core of any “digital f irst” push
For Amit, community work is not separate from professional work; it’s the same idea carried to its logical end A safer banking system protects small traders and salaried families as surely as it protects institutions That’s why he remains closely tied to the Indian diaspora in the UAE, helping, advising, and showing up in ways that make day-to-day life a little easier and a lot safer

In 1977, Aravindakshan reached the UAE the hard way, aboard a cargo ship from Kerala, then into the water and onto shore with nothing but a tenth-grade education, his mother’s resolve, and a plan to lift his family The f irst years were heavy, literal work Hauling cement under the sun, recovering from injuries, and starting again when luck ran thin He kept going Each day moved him a step forward He did not chase big dreams He worked with extreme sincerity and held fast to his ethics, and that carried him forward
The turning point came at ESAB Middle East, a Swedish enterprise where he joined as a truck driver in a three-person unit Over 32 years he rose through the ranks and f inished as General Manager, leading more than 200 employees People remember the way he led by example, with clear standards, and a steady insistence on doing the right thing even when no one was watching Titles mattered less to him than keeping his word
After retiring, he wasn’t done With his eldest son, Abhilash, he co-founded Arsa Welding & Machinery Equipment Trading, an off icial ESAB distributor that let him continue the industrial journey he had helped build From driver to leadership to legacy, the arc holds together.
The rest of his life kept the same line of quiet loyalty and practical care He married his childhood neighbour, Indira, and raised two sons with the values he lived by He paid fees for children who needed school, helped in medical emergencies, and stood behind families who were struggling back home. He preferred results over any credit.
For this edition that honours service and unity, his story reads like a working def inition of both He built a life brick by brick, kept his ethics intact, and leaves a path that others can follow

I did not dream big. I worked hard with sincerity and kept my ethics. That is what took me where I am.
umpa Roy Banerjee paints places you can’t point to on a map such as landscapes of feeling, built from colour, texture, and the slow patience of practice. Based in Dubai, she has shown her work across the UAE and far beyond museum and gallery showcases that include UNESCO (Greece) alongside exhibitions in Italy, Georgia, Spain, Japan, Nepal, India, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Germany, Paris, Armenia, Russia,
Austria, and Zurich Her collectors often come for the abstracts and stay for the afterglow, the way a canvas keeps shifting with the light and the viewer
The path here wasn’t glamorous at the start As a child she sketched at the back of the class, letting doodles grow into studies, then into canvases, then into commissioned works that travel more than most of us do Her tool kit is wide mixed media, a deft dripping technique, and a feel for balance that keeps her compositions alive without tipping into noise Awards have followed, including the UAE ICON honour, International Contemporary Art Icon 2025 presented at Cluster of Achievers, Delhi, India (2025), and Best Influencer – Contemporary Artist at the Global Business Leaders Summit & Influencers Awards Dubai 2025, but the work remains intimate: one surface, one story, one viewer at a time.
Community is not an afterthought. Tumpa gives time to workshops, especially with people of determination, so art isn’t just seen; it’s held, tried, and shared. That habit of opening doors runs through her public life too: magazine features, coffee-table books, podcasts, and a recent cover with Global Art Magazine (2025), each used less as a pedestal and more as an invitation. The through-line is simple: if art helps someone breathe easier or feel less alone, it has done its job.
In a special issue that honours freedom and fellowship, Tumpa’s contribution is to make room for wonder, for rest, for a common gaze and to keep that room open

In a city built for premieres and power plays, Sameer “Sam” Khan keeps the spotlight honest with results over hype and substance over noise A veteran coach in Dubai’s celebrity f itness circuit, he runs two demanding lanes, coaching high-prof ile talent and training high-rank Dubai Police off icers, athletes of a different kind, with different demands
Seventeen years in, Sam’s craft has the feel of a well-run lab and a good locker room Programs are periodized and measurable, sessions are precise, the wins are practical with body composition improved, pain reduced, conf idence restored. That mix has built a client list that spans screen, stage, boardroom,
and people who need their f itness to perform under pressure, not just photograph well.
Entrepreneurship sits alongside the coaching Under the TeamSamUAE banner, Sam has successfully established two gyms and allied ventures, turning a solo practice into a platform. What began as a trainer’s page has matured into a community of coaches he mentors, clients he equips, and an online stream of practical guidance that trades noise for know-how The focus is repeatable results, body composition improved, pain reduced, conf idence restored, all delivered without theatrics or shortcuts It’s why executives, artists, influencers, celebrities and public f igures quietly seek him out, and why his clients’ wins often ripple through families and workplaces like a small campaign for better living.
The Independence Day spirit threads through his ethos of dignity through effort, strength without swagger, and the belief that uplift isn’t a solo act Sam frames each transformation as community work. “Show one person how to train with clarity and recover with care, and you unlock time, energy, and example for everyone around them” he says. That stance and a track record that pairs rigor with results has earned him regional recognition, including Transformation & Celebrity Coach of the Year (2024) and Outstanding Celebrity Fitness Trainer of the Year (2025)
As this Sindoor-e-Azaadi edition salutes builders of unity, Sam’s contribution is precise and profoundly stronger bodies, steadier minds, and programs that outlast motivation In tricolor terms, it’s courage to begin, white-hot honesty in the process, and the green shoots of change that follow

“The Mandir is not built of bricks and stones, but of prayers and blessings.”

“Through SEWA, we turn compassion into action, building bridges that unite all ” SWAMI
“Always be the best resident of the place wherever you stay.”

Across borders, across beliefs, India and the UAE share a vision of coexistence rooted in mutual respect, friendship, and compassion
The inauguration of the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi and the annual meetings of Sikh, Jain, Bohra, and Christian leaders have ignited new traditions of coming together for dialogue, service, and collective worship

“This temple will become a symbol of communal harmony and global unity for the entire world,” declared Prime Minister Modi, echoing the wish of Mahant Swami Maharaj: “May there be peace and prosperity for everyone and may we all progress together to serve the whole of humanity ”

At the Mandir’s Festival of Harmony, people united for “Yagna for Harmony,” the f irst ever global ritual of its kind in the region
Elsewhere, Sikh Gurudwaras and Churches partnered for cross-community food drives, and the Dawoodi Bohra community led with advancements in charitable initiatives, environmental sustainability, economic contributions, peace and tolerance
His Holiness Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS) reminds us, “Always be the best resident of the place wherever you stay in the world.”
It’s this love for their adopted homeland that Dr Mustafa Saasa so passionately echoes: “We have the same love towards the UAE as any patriotic Emirati has.”

THIS TEMPLE WILL BECOME A SYMBOL OF COMMUNAL HARMONY AND GLOBAL UNITY FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD

The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi represents a symbol of faith realized through harmony Swami Brahmaviharidas beautifully expresses, “The Mandir is not built of bricks and stones, but of prayers and blessings Behind its artistry live the values of love, peace, and harmony As a reminder that true happiness is found in living as one family.”
On the frontlines of service, Dr Surender Singh Kandhari from the Gurunanak Darbar Sikh Temple Dubai adds, “Freedom thrives where peace is nurtured and harmony is cherished Through SEWA, we turn compassion into action, building bridges that unite all in the shared light of dignity and hope.” Jain and Church leaders have extended blessings and notes of unity, highlighting the unique beauty of India’s diaspora rooted in many faiths, but one spirit
Practical collaboration is everywhere Sikh and Latter-Day Saint communities jointly organise food distribution drives; Hindu, Jain and Bohra groups hosting interfaith dialogues ; Christian and Bohra leaders encouraging education and promoting digital literacy This is the architecture of real peace.
This is the living legacy of India and the UAE A partnership grounded in understanding, nurtured through respect, and elevated by the everyday actions of leaders and citizens who believe that harmony is the soul of progress In a world of increasing division, the Indian diaspora’s example in the UAE is proof that unity need not be uniformity Harmony means letting every tradition sing its note and together, composing a symphony of hope

Cities run on many kinds of heat such as engines, data halls, factory floors, ships at port, stadium lights after dark, etc We notice the skyline and the speed, rarely noticing the systems that carry heat away so everything can run safely That is the world of Moiz Nooruddin Jetpurwala, Group Managing Director of Dolphin Global Holdings, a UAE-grown group that designs and builds heat-transfer and cooling solutions used across the region and far beyond.
The story begins in Sharjah in 1986 with a small operation and a simple promise of making reliable cooling hardware and standing behind it Four decades later, the group ’ s companies keep a wide mix of industries on schedule, such as, HVAC and district cooling, marine and energy, locomotives and power generation, even specialized industrial and process applications. The reach now spans more than eighty countries, yet the posture remains local and practical: build well, test hard, deliver on time
Earn trust by sending what you promised Grow by teaching teams to own their craft Keep learning so the next build runs cleaner than the last.
Moiz’s role is to keep that promise modern He frames progress as everyday questions
“Can we make a radiator lighter and still last the distance? Can a line changeover be faster so downtime falls? Can a data hall save energy without losing performance? Progress is many small wins that add up Better materials Tighter tolerances Smarter airflow Cleaner installs ” His answer is to invest in people and process, then let quality speak
Manufacturing in the Emirates has its own rhythm and Dolphin has grown with that rhythm of Multicultural teams, high standards, customers who expect speed and documented results The group ’ s factories and service units ship to multiple continents and support fleets and facilities across the GCC Clients turn to them for radiators, shell-and-tube and air-cooled heat exchangers, cooling towers, air handling units, and engineered retrof its that extend the life of existing assets The mix is broad because industries are broad Moiz keeps the language of leadership very simple Earn trust by sending what you promised Grow by teaching teams to own their craft Keep learning so the next build runs cleaner than the last It’s a daily checklist that shows up on factory floors and customer sites That habit has drawn notice from regional media, prof iling him amongst Sharjah’s business leaders and tracing his path from management training to group stewardship
The work f its the spirit of this Independence Day edition. Sindoor-eAzaadi is about freedom with responsibility and progress that includes more people
Cooling may sound technical but its impact is human Safe engines mean safer drivers Eff icient plants mean steadier jobs Better thermal design means lower energy waste and quieter neighborhoods Good engineering becomes public service once it leaves the factory gate
There is also a bridge here from Indian heritage to Emirati ambition The company ’ s roots are in Sharjah, its footprint now reaches across the UAE and overseas, and the team reflects many flags working toward one standard That blend is part of the country’s story It is also the backbone of Dolphin’s growth. When quality travels, trust follows and growth keeps its promise

Ask Moiz what success looks like and the answer is practical A client writes to say a remote radiator ran through a brutal summer without a hiccup A marine ref it leaves port ahead of schedule A power-generation site sees lower temperatures and lower bills These are the quiet wins that keep communities moving The rest is camera work
As this edition goes to press, we carry the Independence Day spirit forward The skyline has done its part Now the systems you seldom notice take over In those hallways and yards, teams keep building the conditions for growth That is where leaders like Moiz Nooruddin Jetpurwala do their best work

“Industries change, markets shift, but trust built through quality endures. That is the business I choose to lead”

HOW INDIAN INNOVATION ROSE TO STAND GLOBALLY DESPITE HEADWINDS

*Latest data as of 31st January 2025, sourced from the Government of India (DPIIT) and startup ecosystem reports by Inc42 and other credible industry trackers

We’ve moved from chase‑for‑scale to pursuit of profit

2025
In the first half of 2025, the Indian startup ecosystem defied global slowdown to emerge as the third-largest tech startup hub, raising an impressive $4.8 billion, despite a 25% funding decline from the previous year
This resilience is no accident. It reflects a maturing system, one that values profitable models, bold innovation, and long-term investor confidence AI now dominates early-stage investments, while hardware and deep-tech emerge as growth focus areas
India is home to over 112 unicorns, with a staggering collective valuation in the hundreds of billions Cities like Bangalore, Delhi NCR, and Mumbai pulse as innovation engines powering national growth
Beyond numbers lies ambition Government initiatives such as Startup India and Atal Innovation Mission have incubated a generation of problem solvers, creating an ecosystem that fosters ideas from dorm rooms to boardrooms
What stands out isn’t just capital raised, it’s the shift toward deep-tech (AI, hardware, robotics), the emergence of smart funding, and the rise of tier 2 and 3 city startups, proving that innovation is fast becoming truly pan-Indian

India emerges as the 3rd-largest global tech startup hub, raising $4 8–$5.7B despite global slowdown
2024
Startup funding recovers to $11B+, rebounding from the funding winter.
2023
Harshest funding winter: only $7B raised, down nearly 70% from 2021 peak.

$4.8B+

2021
India’s startup golden year: over 44 unicorns created in a single year
Record year with 108 unicorns, valuations crossing $340B+. 2022

Freedom wears many faces, and often, it wears a smile shaped by strength Across the UAE, Indian women are quietly rewriting what it means to lead. They are mothers of movements, builders of bridges, curators of culture, and stewards of solidarity With every step they take, they carry generations forward Not just with ambition, but with empathy

This feature, Daughters of Azaadi, is a tribute to those women whose lives are not just lived, but lived with purpose. Their stories unfold not in noise, but in nuance. Through poetry, portraiture, and powerful words, we honor their journeys They remind us that independence isn’t always loud It can be graceful, persistent, and deeply personal.

Managing Director & Group CEO
In the rhythm of hospitals and heartbeats, She learned the scales of balance and healing, In boardrooms echoing with questions and care, She carried her father’s legacy, her mother’s grace,
A chartered mind, a compassionate gaze Numbers and nations called her by day, But by night, she dreamt in the language of empathy. ‘Healthiness is Happiness,’ she’d say, And transformed words into clinics, clinics into hope, Where every patient was seen, and every nurse believed
She built not just networks but bridges: Between glass ceilings and star-lit skies, Between rural villages and metro lights, She rose Pravasi Bhushan, Fortune’s proud name With a steely resolve and mother’s arms wide.
Aster’s healing now echoes across geographies. Guided by her, missions reach millions, Yet at every milestone she remembers: Real power is lifting as many as she can, Turning boardrooms into playgrounds of possibility.
Her journey, persistent as an anthem’s refrain, Reminds us: Freedom is a lamp that must light every home, A woman ’ s rise, a nation’s soul.

Azaadi’s daughter, with healing in her hands, And tomorrow in her eyes.

From first applause beneath stage lights at thirteen, To radio airwaves that pulse with hello and hope. Her stories move not just headphones, but hearts, And every city becomes a living, listening home.
She trades in the currency of questions, Collects conversations like a river holds rain: A morning voice for millions, Yet most alive in the real, the unscripted, the plain.
She calls it an art, making anyone a friend, Inviting listeners to find courage in their roots, Teaching not just dramatic arts, but the script of self, For every brown girl dreaming of lost and found truths.
Beyond broadcast, she lifts community through “The Hive,” Harbouring fledgling voices, crafting safety out of stage; Her TEDx wisdom, twenty million deep and strong. Inviting worlds to open, to listen, to engage.

Between Himalayan summits and city spotlights, She walks lightly, yet leaves echoes humane, unbowed, Her anthem is simple: start the talk, clear the doubt, Be the bridge, be the balm, be unabashed, be proud.

MARUSHIKA FASHIONS
Before runways and spotlights, it began in intricate thread, A child enchanted by color, a painter’s patience in her hand Wanderings across borders, stories of silk and sand, She learned to bind memory with modernity, in every pleat her heart was spread.
Her atelier is a sanctum for innovation and root, Where Madhubani’s folklore meets the city’s strut Here, each motif is reimagined, tradition walks in new boots, Guarding the soul of ancestry in every daring cut.
Morning quiet finds her sketching dreams before the world awakes, Yoga breath and chai fueling a woman ’ s complex art A devotion to family, yet her vision refuses to wait, For luxury clothing that wears heritage not just in look, but in heart.

Mentored by a mother’s wisdom, emboldened by each place she’s called home, She crafts for bold women unafraid, magnetic, alive. Each Marushika piece is a call: embrace the unknown, Drape your courage, let your individual story thrive

“I don’t follow trends. I create them. My designs are wearable art, and every woman who wears them is a moving story of confidence and tradition”

No brushstroke is casual in her world of mirrors.
Sarah blends roots and runway, tradition and trend
Her art starts with empathy, making each face her canvas, Drawing out confidence from stories hidden within.
Behind the shimmer and line is discipline
A Parisian-trained hand, years spent learning every hue;
From red carpets to music icons, from Vogue and Bling’s dazzling sets, She crafts dreams for brides and celebrities, for queens and ingenues alike
Sarah listens before painting, honoring every skin and style.
Her name now murmurs through studios and ballrooms

Yet the signature she leaves is not glamour alone, But the soft power that comes from making others feel seen.

“True beauty is created when a person sees herself and feels celebrated, the art is in the confidence, not just the color”

Founder
INDIAN WOMEN IN D UBAI
She crossed oceans with suitcases filled not with things but intent Into unfamiliar skylines, she craved not just survival, But purpose, kinship, the spark of uplift and ascent A thousand voices, searching hands, a common story waiting for revival
From powerhouse consultant to the heart behind a revolution, She built a sisterhood from coffee spoons and hope alone; Together, stronger her vision broke traditions of exclusion Now one hundred thousand strong, a network like a backbone
She knows adversity by name and welcome, Having faced glass ceilings, cultural winds, belonging’s ache. She stitched a tapestry where no woman felt alone, Where failure is shared, courage celebrated, and ambition never fake
Accolades gather. Asia’s Power Leader, Inspiring Woman of the Year, Yet her daily pride is simple: To see another woman ’ s voice grow sure, To witness each dream ripple and multiply

Her anthem is belief and unity, her vision, a horizon bright The anthem of azaadi sung softly, yet echoing through the night.

“When women support each other, incredible things happen. Believe in yourself, stay true to your values, and uplift others along the way “
Founder & Managing Director
EMPLEO CONS ULTANTS
In the corridors of care where quiet hearts lead, She began with a dentist’s lens, a healer’s creed. Early dreams dressed in white, steady hands and steady hope, Pausing once for family, then ascending a broader scope.
With wisdom forged in midnight self-reflection, And every new sunrise a lesson in connection, She embraced change not with fear, but with resolve. From clinics and co-ops to the CEO’s resolve.
Each role a chapter, each promotion a verse The supervisor, the builder, the mentor immersed. From billing desks to boardrooms, her vision took root; She sowed a culture where teamwork bore fruit
Not one for walls, her office doors always wide, A leader’s smile, a confidante at her side. She listens, inspires, and trusts in her team, Empowering women, fueling every young dream

Her compass is compassion, her discipline, grace. She’s shaped Medcare, a workplace like home, Where staff find belonging, and no one stands alone. Through challenges and triumph, her philosophy stays clear: There is no shortcut to purpose or to care. She’s lit new lamps for gender, for growth, for collaboration’s art , with courage at heart.

When the Ambani-Merchant wedding unfolded in Jamnagar, the world didn’t just witness a personal celebration It saw India raise the bar for what a destination can be For f ive months, a modest Gujarat town became the beating heart of global luxury, culture, and hospitality, as billionaires, world leaders, celebrities, and icons arrived by chartered plane-loads to witness a pageant of tradition reimagined for the world’s eyes.

This was India’s answer to the “Wed in India” call, echoing Prime Minister Modi’s vision to make the country a global epicenter for milestone celebrations
Jamnagar, the ancestral town of the Ambani family, became a living canvas for culture and modernity, where the world’s eyes were drawn by blockbuster performances from Rihanna, Bieber, and global personalities, but stayed for the depth of Indian rituals, philanthropy, and rootedness
The event injected an estimated ₹4,000–6,000 crore into the economy, engaging over 20,000 professionals, chefs, stylists, security experts, and artisans while spotlighting India’s ability to host world -class experiences without losing its identity. Hotels, travel companies, local retailers and artisans registered record sales, while local youth found new opportunities in event management, hospitality, and tech logistics
Hosting the world, honouring our roots, India’s true strength is in bringing everyone home
What set Jamnagar apart was not just scale, but soul Vantara, a 3,000-acre animal rescue effort, showcased green ambition Mass weddings for underprivileged couples mirrored generosity and every guest from Silicon Valley moguls to Bollywood royalty became a participant in showcasing India's inclusive, abundant spirit

Jamnagar took its place on the world map as the internet buzzed, luxury travel boards rewrote their lists, and other families began to see India as the new benchmark for destination celebrations.
For weeks after, top-tier hotels remained full, local business thrived, and a new conf idence took root in India’s wedding, hospitality, and event sectors
Most memorable, perhaps, was how thousands of working Indians, caterers, decorators, animal rescue volunteers, flower farmers, designers became unseen costars in a festival that lasted months and shaped Jamnagar’s future for years In the end, India's most hyped wedding was a spectacle of profound assertion of India's soft power, ecological vision, and the end uring strength of tradition.

How INDIA and its heroes are taking the nation’s spirit into SPACE
In July 2025, as NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, of Indian origin, returned from her record-breaking 9-month mission aboard the International Space Station, she carried more than research logs and scientif ic data. She carried a story of resilience, of quiet Indian pride stitched into the global fabric of exploration. During her mission, she logged nearly 900 hours of scientif ic research, conducted spacewalks totalling 62 hours, and helped advance international understanding of microgravity’s impact on human health
And yet, what stirred India most was a simple, human gesture: presenting Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the Indian tricolour she had flown in space A flag that had orbited Earth countless times now returned home, its journey echoing the aspirations of 1 4 billion Indians
Sunita’s mission is not an isolated triumph It is part of a larger story: India’s extraordinary rise as a space nation The successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s south pole in 2023 marked India as the f irst country ever to achieve this feat Soon after, the Aditya-L1 mission became Asia’s f irst dedicated solar observatory By 2025, India is preparing for Gaganyaan, its f irst human spaceflight, and laying blueprints for the Bharatiya Antariksh Station by 2035
Together, these achievements show a nation redef ining what it means to be free and ambitious not just on Earth, but in the cosmos. As President John F. Kennedy once said about space exploration, “We do these things not because they are easy, but because they are hard.” For India, the hard road has always been the chosen one.
In Sunita Williams’ smile, in ISRO’s engineers working through nights, in the children of small towns who look up at the sky with wonder, lies the story of a nation steadily, silently, and proudly reaching beyond gravity

Mahakumbh 2025
There are moments when destiny, faith, and the longing to belong all meet upon a riverbank For a son of the diaspora, raised among echoing tales of Sanatan dharma but far from the sunbaked ghats of Bharat, MahaKumbh 2025 was never meant to be just another event This was initiation

This was return Return to a truly once in a lifetime event that happens only once every 144 years
Landing in Prayagraj on the misty pre-dawn of the f irst snan, I felt the pull of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati not only as rivers, but as the eternal energies that bind all seekers For 7 days I lived, worked, meditated, and healed on these noisy, chaotic, yet impossibly serene ghats, both an observer and, f inally, a child of this living ocean
Never in my life did I imagine witnessing humanity at such a scale The scale of what unfolded was beyond imagination More than 663 million souls converged for MahaKumbh 2025 over a 45day period

The city became a superorganism, powered by devotion, digital mapping, high-tech sanitation, and the subtle pulse of ancient rites I saw men, women, the elderly and children walk on an average 30-40 kms simply to have darshan, often barefoot, often in silence, carried only by devotion

“Being toget chanting sha walking bare eating simple serving, and served, this he

May all who seek healing, identity, or joy find it here and carry a drop of the Sangam back into their world.

And despite the ocean of humanity, not once did I hear of a woman being harassed Think about that: in today’s world, where headlines are f illed with fear, here was the world’s largest gathering, and it was safe, dignif ied, and rooted in respect. That is the beauty of the Sanatan culture This was the Kumbh of radical service
For the nervous, polluted, ever-hungry modern world, Kumbh offers a lesson that spiritual “cleansing” is more than a ritual. It is a recalibration of body, mind, breath, and intention Did bathing in the sangam reset epigenetics?
Maybe But as a healer, the evidence I gathered, stories of recovery, relief, breakthrough from villagers and venture capitalists alike, suggests something much deeper

Being together, chanting shanti, walking barefoot, eating simple food, serving, and being served, this heals Critics deride Kumbh as overwhelming, even disorderly But what I saw was an divine energetic order Government-run water and sanitation, emergency drone teams, multilingual helplines, and an all-faith safe zone for interfaith dialogue This was 2025 where tradition meets tech, Bharat’s spirit digitized for an era of global interdependence.

As the f inal Ardh Kumbh bell rang out over the sacred confluence and the crowd’s roar faded, I found myself seated among sadhus, scientists, grandmothers, and teenagers. I saw Sanatan not as a set of strict beliefs, but as a living, flexible adaptive wisdom For those raised abroad, MahaKumbh 2025 was the evidence You can be born anywhere, but you always have a place in the river’s embrace May all who seek healing, identity, or joy f ind it here and carry a drop of the Sangam back into their worlds
