The handle. Main tool of the vacuum, the handle controls everything, from movement to electrical commands. First, clip it to the vacuum tube if you own a standard central vacuum system, if you own a retractable central vacuum system, the handle is already in the socket compartment, inside the wall. Then to start the engine, press the start button situated on the handle,

you can also choose differents cleaning options such as, carpet mode or corner vacuum by pressing once the other buttons situated on the handle. The handle’s lower part, is a bit different from the rest. It’s rough coat makes the holding more comfortable and safer. To see what options the handle can offer you, please have a look to page 9 for further information.

The upholstery head. The most common head of every vacuum. This head however isn’t a simple and regular vacuum head like most, the central vacuum system allowing electricity through the tube by metal contact, Butler’s vacuum allows you to switch modes and activate different options from the handle. One of the innovation incorporated in this head is the corner duster. You

can activate it by pressing onto the corner mode button on the handle, it lifts up a little door situated in the front part of the sides which vacuums the corners you can’t reach most of the time with a common vacuum. This small innovation was possible because of the electricity command and the higher suction power of a central vacuum system.

The double straight tube. Retractable, it allows you to double its length with a single push on the lower button. From 70cm to 1m30 with different length stops along it, the straight tube is one of the main components of the vacuum. It is fournished with the standard pack along with the tubes. Made from an aluminium-steel alloy, the tube has a very good resistance.

Avoid putting heavy objets on top of the tubeThis item shows you how much, Butler central vacuum systems are resistant and quality higher than most of the other vacuums. To retract the tube, simply press the button again and grab the lower end of the tube to back it in smoothly until it clips inside the main straight tube. You can then let it go.

The crevice tool. This tool will help you reach dust and filth you couldn’t even see before. Allowing you to vacuum some spots without having to carry or move any heavy furnitures, this tool is the perfect help for a person vacuuming on its own. Plus, the components of the crevice tool being soft enough to bend, you won’t scratch your wall of damage objects while using the

vacuum. As a matter of fact, it will even bend enough for you to reach ground spots along an inaccesible plinth, or go a little further behind furnitures where some dust might be hiding. Though it is soft to bend quite easily, it still stands right when no object or surface is pushing towards it for you clean as if it was a simple and not flobby tube.

The mattress tool. Even if the name makes you think it is only programmed to clean matresses, you will be filled with joy knowing that this tool can be used to clean very easily soft surfaces such as sofas, car seats, carpets, etc. It is also very efficient and useful for car cleaning. Know that this small tool can go almost anywhere you want, say goodbye to fallen crumbs

and resisting filth because you won’t see them much after using it. If you would like to clean a carpet or any other textile like decoration object (curtains, bedsheets, towels, clothes, etc.), the mattress tool might not be the best choice you could have. An other tool is more appropriate for that kind of work, and this tool is called the brush tool.

The brush tool. Here’s the last vacuum tool you will need to know some things about. It is called the brush tool, it is very efficient against hair balls, and resisting filth on carpets, curtains and textiles. When used, we advice you to brush the surface you wan to clean by repetive strokes on every spot. The brush makes the filth take off from the surface to be vacuum right after

by the tube which is located at the center of the brush. Before using this tool, we advice you to remove any object or part of object remaining on the surface you would like to clean so the brush won’t be blocked by it. Also we advice you to shake the surface (if possible) to evacuate as much dust as you can before using the vacuum on it.
