FINANCES

As the Treasurer of the European Youth parliament Switzerland, I am pleased to present the financial part of the annual report for the past year. I am proud to say that the financial health of the EYP remains strong, and that we have been able to effectively manage our resources to further support our mission and programs.

During the past year, we managed to utilize our resources efficiently, largely due to the successful pursuit of our fundraising strategies and cost-saving measures. Our expenses have been carefully monitored, and we have made a concerted effort to prioritize programs and initiatives that will have the greatest impact on our members and the wider European community.

In the department of finance and membership one of the key events of the past year was the successful completion of the annual session in Basel, which saw the participation of over 120 participants from all across Europe. The event was a great success, and the feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. The financial support from our partners and sponsors was instrumental in making this event possible, and I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all those who contributed.

Looking forward, EYP Switzerland will continue to focus on providing quality sessions on different scales and other events to our members, while maintaining a strong financial position. We will continue to explore new funding opportunities and to implement cost-saving measures, in order to ensure that EYP remains a financially sustainable organization.

In conclusion, I would like to express my deep appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the entire EYP community, and for the support of our members, partners, and sponsors. I am confident that, together, we will continue to achieve great things.
