Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 academic year!
I am hopeful that the past months have been an opportunity for you to rest, connect with family and friends and enjoy the beauty of other skies.
As you slowly ease into school mode, we would like you to have a look at this catalog of afterschool activities offered to our students of both the Churchill and Waterview campuses. Select the ones you would like your child/children to attend and use your Blackbaud Tuition Management account to register.
We hope that you will find the activity you are looking for. Feel free to share any suggestions you may have for next semester by emailing us.
We wish you all a great academic year!
Sincerely,
Yohanis Mibrathu Director of Extension Education

CHURCHILL CAMPUS PROGRAM
FOR MATERNELLE STUDENTS
Our after-school program for Maternelle students is a package program of activities and childcare. Every student in grade PS and MS/EC3 and EC4 will have a different activity from 3:00-4:00 pm each day. The students enrolled in this program can stay in childcare until 6pm without additional cost. The cost of the program is $130 per week when signed up for this option or $30 per day for drop-in.
For our TPS students, the first semester is one of adaptation and discovery. For this reason, the afterschool program does not offer specialized activities and prefers to give time to our youngest students to become more familiar with the adults who are with them throughout the day, as well as give time to those adults to know the children better. Parents who choose to do so will be able to enroll their child in regular afterschool care by sending an email to cwafterschool@dallasinternationalschool.org
The adults who monitor the TPS student during after care will keep them engaged in age-appropriate activities that will help them develop their skills (motor, social, language, etc.).

This Natural Movement workshop aims at developing children’s natural innate movement patterns such as crawling, jumping, climbing, lifting, throwing, catching, and running. Your child will have fun, but they will also gain selfconfidence and establish solid and efficient movement patterns which are the foundation of any physical activity such as soccer, football, tennis, or martial art. Practicing natural movement is also a way to reinforce sensitive perception, proprioception, intellectual awareness, and reflexes. Class will be taught in French.
The STEM Labs are designed to help our young scientists use their ingenuity to create, design and implement their newfound knowledge of the topic of the day. Each class is focused on hands-on activities that allow the scientists to explore and allows individual creativity.
