IS THERE A PLACE MORE FULL OF CHEER AND CARING THAN OUR NURSERY? We don’t think so.

At TREASURES, our child care center, bright playrooms with fish tanks and loads of toys delight our littlest guests. An attached playground provides toddlers with room to run and play. Babies have their own cozy retreat, with age-appropriate toys, books, bouncy seats, a ball pit and soft climbing blocks with tumble pads. Infant swings on the nursery’s screened porch soothe little ones in the fresh mountain air, and a quiet nap room ensures uninterrupted routine.

TREASURES provides a healthy lunch with day-long care as well as snacks in the morning and afternoon. Fresh veggies and fruits sourced from a local organic farm are extra delicious!

Our nurturing staff is ready to welcome little ones ages 6 weeks to 3 years old, giving mom and dad the flexibility to enjoy some time on vacation for their own fun. A great family vacation supports all members of the family.

Care for your child is available for an hour (hello, massage!), a half day (wheeee, zip line tour!) or a full day (hmmm, latte stop at the Perk then on to the day’s fun!). Choose what best aligns with your family’s needs, confident that your child will receive caring attention at TREASURES. TREASURES child care center is fully licensed by the state of Vermont. ADVENTURES. In our programs, kids can explore what interests them. Younger kids enjoy a mix of crafts, active play, and pool time, all emphasizing a connection to nature and community. Older kids might choose performance in Sound & Stage, or outdoor adventures in Survival or High Adventure Specialty Camps.

Our comfortable environment, focused on challenge by choice, supports trying something new or sticking with what’s familiar — it’s all good.

NEW FRIENDS. Nothing brings kids together more quickly than shared experiences, and our counselors are trained to get everyone settled and happy with ice breakers and team building games. The camp day is all about having fun and building memories.

COOL COUNSELORS. They tie it all together. Our creative counselors set a schedule for the day but leave room for unexpected delight and discovery. WATER PLAY, EVERY DAY! All of our camp groups enjoy water play as part of their day — with five water recreation areas, there’s a destination ideal for each age group.

Our youngest campers float through Little Smugglers’ Lagoon in tubes, or ride down the Turtle Slide sized just for them. Older kids hike to Bootleggers’ Basin for swimming, zooming down the Zoom Flume slide, and sports. Often, a child’s camp experience at our pools or reservoir leads a family to discover a new favorite water playground! Pool and waterslide fun in our camps is matched to each child’s swimming ability and carefully supervised by counselors and lifeguards — peace of mind for moms and dads.

Modeled on the learning experience provided by our successful ski school, our mountain biking school offers camps, clinics, and special sessions for all ages and abilities. You’ll find beginner and intermediate level skills parks, mountain bike trails and more challenging single track right on property. The nearby Lamoille Valley Rail Trail offers 33 miles of scenic biking along the Lamoille River. Smugglers’ mountain biking center offers rentals to support all needs, from balance bikes for the youngest beginner riders to full suspension premium models for experts!

Disc golf provides fun, easy recreation and competition for anyone who loves the outdoors! Families enjoy the convenient location and ease of play of the 9-hole Village 9 course. Our two 18-hole courses, Brewster Ridge and Fox Run Meadows, are spread over 40 acres of woods and meadows, highlighting some of Smugglers' most beautiful natural features. Both courses support all levels of play and have received acclaim from players from novice to pro level. Learn to play or hone your skills in a clinic or family session with our disc golf coaches!

SEGWAYS Tour our Resort Village on your own self-balancing personal transportation vehicle, a Segway! During the introductory Segway clinic at Smugglers' you'll learn about the wildlife and natural beauty that grace our mountain environment, and hear some interesting and fun facts about Vermont. When you're ready for another Segway adventure, an off-road tour explores the rolling trails surrounding Smugglers’ Village.

CLIMBING ADVENTURES A blend of new belay technology with innovative climbing holds make tree climbing easy and treefriendly. Climbers may also choose from a variety of routes including our synthetic climbing wall and vertical obstacles.

Families love our llama treks, an opportunity for all ages to hike and picnic with these gentle creatures in the woods and trails around the Resort. On your trek they will tote your delicious picnic of fresh fruit, baked goods, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and beverages.

Designed to educate, entertain, and inspire, ArborTrek’s guided Zip Line Canopy Tour is guaranteed to provide nature lovers and thrill seekers with an experience they will never forget. Following a mountain brook high above Smugglers’ Village, the tour descends through a forest of hemlock, white birch, and sugar maple. Participants soar down more than 4,500 feet of zip lines, cross bridges high above the forest floor, rappel from trees, and enjoy stunning views of the area.

Designed for participants of moderate-to-good health from ages 8 to adult, weighing 70-250 lbs. Max weight: 220 lbs. if less than 5 feet 4 inches, 180 lbs. if less than 5 feet.

TREETOP OBSTACLE COURSE Slide, balance, jump, crawl, climb, dash, and swing through the trees. This self-guided adventure combines the thrill of being high above the ground with challenges that test a participant’s strength, balance, and agility.

Following completion of a ground school, trekkers can explore 80+ elements rated from easy to difficult.
