Stock is stored inside the QUICKSTOCK TM cabinet/s which are placed out on the workshop floor, where engineers can access stock themselves as and when they need it .

Stock is stored inside the QUICKSTOCK TM cabinet/s located in the storeroom or anywhere you like, such as an office away from direct access to the engineers. It is then dispensed to the engineers by the purchaser or stores person. Alternatively the stores person can use the cabinet stock to replenish storeroom shelves.

QUICKSTOCK TM cabinet/s come with a standard lock system including additional keys as required.

Were there any hurdles with getting used to QUICKSTOCK TM?

Monkeytoe Group, we’re leaders in any roof access or height safety, roof safety projects. We also specialise in any structural aluminium work, whether it be bespoke stairs or bridges. Basically we do it all.

The only hurdle, if you could call it a hurdle, would have been just to make sure we had all the right stuff in the cabinets that suited our operation.

Euromarc worked with us to make sure we swapped out what we didn’t need in the cabinet and had only the essentials put in there and regularly topped up.

How did you manage consumable stock inventory before QUICKSTOCK TM? Before Monkeytoe got the QUICKSTOCK TM system we were using a Kanban system for our consumables out in the workshop, while being efficient, was quite cumbersome at times. Dealing with all the different cards, you had cards going missing, guys forgetting to put in cards so you’d run out of stock and have to rush things last minute. It was just common sense to make the move to QUICKSTOCK TM.

What led you to exploring your options in how you managed consumable stock inventory?

Would you recommend the QUICKSTOCK TM solution to other engineering companies?

I was actually approached by Euromarc, who then offered us the QUICKSTOCK TM system. We had a bit of a look at it, weighed the pros to the cons, and the pros definitely outweighed the cons. It was just a no-brainer.
