Christmas meetings in our classrooms
Class Eves and various performances are organized in our school every year. My class had a Christmas Eve in the sports hall. We give each other gifts but before all this is a lottery who gives presents to whom. For the Christmas Eve we brought different dishes this year, I brought fruit. At the first hour in the school there was a Nativity play which reminded different traditions. In our school there was even a competition for the best decorated class for Christmas.
Agnieszka, 6th grade
In my school everyone has Christmas Eve on the same day. There is always on a Nativity play in the first lesson. This year our class Christmas Eve was superb. Everyone got presents up to 40 zlotys. I got the ball and sweets. My class has Christmas Eve in the sports hall and always after eating and cleaning we can enter the hall and play the ball and have a good time. This year we played a few hours. Our class Christmas Eve was a very nice day.

Nativity play in our school
Nativity play at our school is an annual tradition organized by student selfgovernment and teachers. This year me and my friend dealt with technical matters. I was responsible for the music and my friend for the sound system and microphones. There were a lot of elderly people who shared a wafer. Everyone won some kind of prize and everyone was happy. I like to go to the nativity play. There is a very nice atmosphere there and this time I could help with the organisation.

VALENTINE'S DAY
On the 14h of February Valentine's Day was celebrated in our school. This is the feast of Valentine, the patron saint of lovers.
In our school everyone coud send a Valentine card. In my opinion, this is a very nice custom. Most of us like this day, everyone gets some gifts, it's very nice.
CARNIVAL PARTY
In the last week of February, a carnival party was organised in our school. There were actually two parties: for younger students during lessons and for older students after lessons. Students from lower classes were wearing various fancy dresses. All the students could buy some snacks and drinks in a shop specially organised for this occasion.

Food trucks
We saw a food truck competition organized by an English teacher. We went to an exhibition of food trucks. An English teacher did it with the 4eme . We saw all the food trucks and we chose our favorite food trucks. My favorite food truck was the Spanish one because I love paella. The favorite food truck of the classroom was the ice cream. We think it was original to organize an exhibition like that. We would like to do it next year in English. I like to learn a language with activities and exercises. It's cool and I can remember faster.

ASTILLERO'S PARK
By Haniel 9 years old
There is a very old spiderweb in Astillero with fat but a little worn strings and it is dangerous because children can jump and break a rope.
The mast when you get up wobbles a bit and it seems that you are going to fall to the ground and it is very scary.
I ask that they put a new spiderweb in the shape of a pyramid because the parents will not let them climb the children for fear of falling.

The Ski resort of LES SAISIES
I ski in the mountains, in France in Savoie and I love the ski resort of les Saisies.
Where is les Saisies : it's is 30 km kilometres away from Albertville .
In les Saisies it is not very high like in Tignes and you have a wonderful view on Mont Blanc.
How is les Saisies : We can ski ,snowshoe and cross country ski in winter. There was the Olympics in Les Saisies in 1992.
We climb on the chair lift , ski lift and gondola . But there is no gondola in Les Saisies .
To ski you must buy a ski pass .
It's more funny to go with your family or with your friends . You can come in the ski resort in summer too.
THE SKI EQUIPMENT : A ski jacket to stay warm and dry ,ski pants . When you fall you must wear a ski helmet to be well protected . You must wear ,glasses to avoid burning your eyes. You must wear mittens to stay warm.

SNOWBOARDING : a different sport and more FUN
In this article we are going to talk about snowboard equipments. This sport is a little dangerous but it's really fun. To be protected, it is necessary ski goggles rather than glasses because it's more secured if you fall. Now , what about pants.?pants must be a little baggy and really comfortable. They can be multicolored , flashy but if you want to take white trousers, it's OK but it can be dirty very fast. HUM ! HUM ! NOT SO GOOD. Let's talk about the boots, the snowboard and the gloves. The gloves most using are those of good brand ,hotter and more confortable. For the good quality the best brands are Rossignol (from France) Salomon ( from France of course ...) Scott from the USA and The North Face from the USA. There are coats and headphones connected by bluetooth. There are headphones or we can install camera on the helmet. It's a good ideas for it's fun and practical. We wear more colors and brand clothes, because it brings us more comfort and protection.

The hibernation of the marmots in the mountains.
The hibernation of the marmots is like a long nap, it lasts for 5 months and the animals that hibernate are mainly bears but also marmots in our mountains. They hibernate in the mountains because it is their places of life, but before they stock food to survive. Once winter arrives, alpine marmots huddle next to each other and begin hibernation, a process which lowers their heart rate to five beats per minute and breathing to 13 breaths per minute. During hibernation their stored fat supplies are used slowly, which usually allows them to survive the winter. Their body temperature will drop to almost the same as the air around them, although their heart and breathing rates will speed up if the environment approaches freezing point. When the heat is back, they wake up and they go outside
Avalanches can kill you...
The dangers of the mountains are important if you go off piste. So how to survive in an avalanche? Wear an airbag. Airbags can save your life by wearing the person's head out of the snow. It allows us to slip to the end of the avalanche. It is expensive but it can save your life!!! p.

Winter in Poland
When it comes to weather, a New Year began in Poland not really interesting . Strong winds started to blow in our region. The wind blew up to 90 km/h. The Baltic Sea was dominated by a storm and the wind reached even 11 degrees on the Beaufort scale. In some seaside towns, beaches and piers were completely flooded and banned from entering, for example in Gdańsk. Warnings about violent winds, downpours and storms appeared in the media. It wasn't until 3 January that the winds calmed down and it started to snow in the morning. The joy was great, because we were all waiting for it with a desire.
