BRING ON SUMMER!
What a great start to 2024 for the Heartland Region. We hope you are getting ready to enjoy the warmth of summer. We are excited to focus on our spring and summer promotions that will highlight our favorite foods and events. Look forward to menus that focus on fresh fruits and vegetables, picnic and grilling favorites, national donut day and more! As we look forward to all the summer BBQ plans, please remember to put Safety First with the tips below! As always, we thank you for your partnership in our business!
Summer Grilling Food Safety Tips:
Ensure gas grills are in good repair – inspect hoses, gaskets, legs, loose parts
Move grill away from walls or any flammable structures
Use long handled utensils for grilling
Avoid long sleeves & loose fitting clothing
When handling raw meat, chicken and other poultry, and seafood:
Separate it from other food and make sure its juices do not touch other food, utensils, and surfaces.
Refrigerate before grilling if not using right away
Wash your hands before and after handling
Use a food thermometer to ensure it is cooked to a safe internal temperature. When smoking, keep temperatures inside the smoker at 225°F to 300°F to keep meat at safe internal temperatures.
Refrigerate:
Divide leftovers into small portions and place in covered, shallow containers. Put in freezer or fridge within 2 hours of cooking.

She shines in the 4th essential " Own Your Station" by always giving great guest service, being knowledgeable on what she is serving, and striving to make improvements. I can always count on Kate and we are lucky to have her on our team!

Celebrate spring by catering your next event! Our spring menu offers a variety of delicious flavors using the finest seasonal ingredients. Enjoy our limited-time Spring Feature meal, featuring either chicken or black bean enchiladas with arroz rice, tortilla chips, salsa, and sweet cinnamon sugar churros with water all for just $14. NEW CULINARY CONCEPTS
1) DHABA honors the diverse cultures and traditions of Indian cuisine. These five new menus will replace long-time favorite, Masala, to introduce a fresh take on traditional cooking techniques, spices, and sauces specific to the regions of North and South India
2) RHYTHM & ROUX is inspired by the vibrant history and culture of Louisiana. Our chefs traveled to the Pelican State to research traditional ingredients used for Cajun and Creole cuisine, bringing our guests two authentic menus.
3) FISH & CHIP SHOP is a celebration of coastal traditions. This menu uses sustainable seafood that offers signature favorites like beer-battered fish and crispy golden-fried shrimp paired with complementing sides and sauces
