FY25Q2 | January-March2025

LOOKING TOWARD THE FUTURE

On the following pages, we’ll take a quick look back at some of the highlights from 2024, and a look forward to what we’re excited about in 2025
At Eurest, we’re committed to building and celebrating careers, and last summer, our Global University of Lifelong Learning (GULL) program was a shining example of this dedication, with 50 GULL graduates who are now trained for positions in leadership roles. We have a new semester starting now and I’m excited to see how far these team members can go.
We also take pride in celebrating our associates' anniversaries. It is heartwarming to see dozens of our team members marking 20 years or more with us each month, and I have included several of their stories on page 5
In the realm of community and safety, our managers have all been trained in CPR This training proved vital, helping four individuals in emergency situations (see Page 6). Our responsibility to care for each other is paramount, and these efforts highlight our commitment to safety and community well-being. We are happy to report that our entire salaried team across National Accounts has been CPR certified and we will continue to train the team moving forward.
We continue to lead with diversity, equity, and inclusion and are partnering with local nonprofits to support economic opportunities and inclusivity within our communities. (See Page 6) We drive opportunities through both our recruiting efforts and our training of front line teams Our focus on supporting minority suppliers has the dual purpose of raising up our communities by providing emerging minority-owned businesses opportunity, and helps to drive Tier 2 procurement numbers for your organization.
Innovation is also at the forefront of our mission. See page 3 to read about our all-electric kitchen. We are always looking for ways to provide you with innovative cost-saving solutions, leveraging external resources to support your initiatives while still functioning under the Compass umbrella, with all the support, structure, governance and indemnity that our National Account clients deserve.
Thank you for your partnership with us, and for choosing Eurest/Compass National Accounts Together, we are building a brighter future for our associates and the communities we serve
Warm regards,

GIVING BACK AND SAVING LIVES
In National Accounts, all of our managers have been trained in CPR. Because of that, last year, four of them were able to use those skills to help people in life-threatening situations, including a toddler whose life was saved by Chef Richard Yennerell.
While out for a family walk, Richard heard "blood curdling screams " Running ahead to see what was wrong, he found two women panicked, huddled over the lifeless body of their two-year-old daughter, who was not breathing and had begun to turn blue. Recalling his training, Richard calmly took action, performing chest compressions on the child. After a few moments, the baby's eyes fluttered, and she began to breathe again on her own. Richard turned her on her side and stayed with her until the EMTs arrived.
Days later, Richard was able to meet with the family and there were hugs all around. Baby Maya was released from the hospital and is doing fine, and her moms truly have something to be grateful for this week There are many responsibilities we have as individuals and as a team but none surpass the responsibility we have to take care of each other.
