Pencil on Thick Drawing Paper
This observational drawing, portrays an angle of the Lawrence Ravine bridge, exposing its age through decay and fungi on the underbelly of the structure. This piece is named OLD FASHIONED, for it represents that the most simplest of forms, no matter of its ancient status, held its ground the longest out of everything else in the ravine. Although we may view architecture today with solely the idea of beauty and elegance, we must always remember that the reason architectures exist is to make sure that a structure’s purpose is fulfilled.
