For the third consecutive time, the Blue Ridge organization secures the coveted crown which further solidifies its dominance in the competition. Louisse Danielle Segarra, who represents both beauty and intellect, leads this achievement. Her victory not only affirmed the organization’s winning streak but also reinforces the prestige and dedication fostered by MSEUF-CI on and off the stage.

The 33rd Foundation Anniversary of Enverga University Candelaria concluded with three days of festivities and intense competition from February 19 to 21, 2025, at the EUC campus grounds. At the end of the celebrations, Blue Ridge emerged as the overall champion, securing the top spot among the four competing color organizations.

different locations within the university. Blue Ridge sustained the lead after securing the championship of Intercolor Quiz Bee at the college level, further strengthening their position in the overall standings.
Blue Ridge also excelled in the literary competitions, claiming three victories in Talumpati (Elementary level), Pagsulat ng Pormal na Sanaysay (High school level), and Impromptu Speaking (College level).

Ms. Vernie Mercado, the foundation’s overall co-chairman, outlined the rules and guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all participants, ensuring that everyone was wellprepared and aware of the course details before the run started.
A brief but lively exercise session was conducted to energize the crowd and prepare
them for the run, featuring upbeat music and engaging physical activities that got everyone moving and excited for the colorful journey ahead.
The scenic route of the Color Fun Run began at Mangarey Farm, passed through Sitio Tangke and the Barangay Hall of Masalukot I, and ended at the patio area, offering participants a picturesque backdrop to enjoy while they ran and played amidst bursts of colorful powder.
Throughout the course, bursts of colorful powder created a vibrant and festive atmosphere, adding to the excitement and joy of the event as participants laughed, ran, and celebrated together.

Candelaria’s 33rd Founding Anniversary took a festive turn as students enjoyed the first-ever Foam Party at San Pedro Bautista Patio on January 18, 2024.
Color Fun Run, students gathered at the main event area, where a stage and giant foam cannons were set up. The event was led by Mr. John Paulo S. Manalo, with music performances by the of English classics and modern OPM hits.
As the night progressed, DJ EICCOL took over, hyping up the crowd with interactive remixes as foam covered the dance floor.
Laughter and cheers filled the air as students danced under the foam and starlit sky.
To close the night, a spectacular fireworks display lit up the sky, marking the end of the first day of festivities.

The event, led by Ms. Marylou Mariot, this year’s chairman of SALEUC-DUNONG, was organized in collaboration with EUC Sanlingan. Participants from Lutucan Integrated National High School, Santa Catalina National High School, Grabsum School Incorporated, and Dolores Macasaet National High School competed across multiple categories.

Meanwhile, Grabsum School Incorporated placed second runner-up in the Junior High Quiz Bee, and Lutucan Integrated National High School secured first runner-up in the Senior High Quiz Bee.

Enverga University Candelaria commemorated its founder, Dr. Manuel S. Enverga, with a thanksgiving mass and a wreath-laying ceremony on February 18, 2025, at the EUC Gymnasium.
The mass, which began at 3:00 PM, was led by Rev. Fr. Francisco Bingco and attended by students from the junior and senior high school departments, college students, and faculty members.
At 4:00 PM, the wreath-laying ceremony took place at the
founder’s statue, led by Melody D. Cena, the Quality Assurance and Planning Officer. The event paid tribute to Dr. Enverga’s contributions to the institution, with Dr. Crystal B. Quintana, the Dean of Studies, and Mr. Philip Dimaculangan, the High School Assistant Principal, delivering inspiring messages honoring his legacy.
Following the speeches, Fr. Bingco led a prayerful blessing, after which the EUC Drum and Lyre Ensemble performed a musical tribute, adding a solemn yet celebratory touch to the
occasion.

EUC formally commenced its Foundation Anniversary celebration on February 19 with an opening parade, bringing together students, faculty, and organizations to mark the occasion.
The parade, led by the EUC Drum and Lyre Ensemble, featured reigning queens and candidates from the university’s color organizations, followed by representatives from academic and student organizations. Among the participating groups were the Supreme Student Government, The Blaze, SERU, SIGMA, CREATE, Sanlingan, Himig Enverga, Rondalla, Enverga Dance
Troupe, Artist Center, Pep Squad, Junior Photographer’s Guild, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Philippines, PRISAA and regional players, and selected students. Colleges and academic programs also took part, including the College of Computer Science and Technology, College of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts, College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management, and College of Business Administration. Various college student organizations also joined the procession.
The parade proceeded through De Ramos, De Alday,
Salazar, and Cabuñag Streets, culminating at the San Pedro Bautista Parish Church Patio, where the formal program was held. Participants were welcomed with a performance by the EUC Drum and Lyre Ensemble
before the event officially opened.
Mr. Jonathan Cube led the program with a formal introduction of the university’s color organizations and an overview of the scheduled activities for the celebration.
EUC continued the celebration of its 33rd Foundation Anniversary with its annual Family Fun Day, gathering students, parents, and faculty for a day of activities. The high school department held its event at the EUC Gymnasium, while the elementary department celebrated at the EUC Sports and Recreational Center.
The program began with a prayer led by Mrs. Divine Grace Castañeda, followed by the national anthem and the university hymn. High School Principal, Sir Jonathan Villaruz, welcomed attendees and highlighted the importance of collaboration between the school and parents. Dr. Crystal B. Quintana, Dean of Studies, also delivered a message, acknowledging the
role of guardians in students’ academic growth.
Sir Froilan Remo, General Parent-Teacher Association (GPTA) president, invited the GPTA officers onstage to thank the event’s benefactors. The program continued with performances, including an energizing dance led by Elaiza Niel Ocfemia. Several faculty members also joined the dance, adding to the festive atmosphere.
A major highlight of the high school event was the arrival of the awardwinning Striding Jaguars drumline, recently recognized in Indonesia. Students and parents engaged in various games and raffles organized by the GPTA, with a bingo game concluding the festivities. High School Assistant Principal, Mr. Philip
Dimaculangan, gave the closing remarks.
Meanwhile, at the elementary department’s celebration, students participated in a sing-anddance competition and witnessed a performance from the elementary dancesport team. Games and raffles entertained attendees before Candelaria Mayor George “Ogie” Suayan delivered a speech, reaffirming his support for the university.
The program also featured a magic and puppet show, as well as photo and face-painting booths. Performances from EUC Indak Pugay dancers and student singers followed. Ms. Keaneth Princess Vilano, closed the event by expressing gratitude for the community’s participation.

A total of 197 beneficiaries were provided with free eye check-up and eyeglasses on February 20 at Enverga University, as part of its 33rd-anniversary celebration.
The event welcomed students, faculty, employees, parents, and members of the adopted community. The initiative was facilitated by the selected students from the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. After a brief registration, beneficiaries proceeded to an evaluation and consultation
station, where medical professionals assessed their vision and provided appropriate prescriptions. Those in need of corrective lenses were fitted with free eyeglasses.

As part of its annual Foundation Week celebration, Manuel S. Enverga University Candelaria, Inc. held its much-anticipated Literary Competition on February 20, 2025. The event, conducted across various locations on campus, provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and intellectual skills through different literary contests. Students from the four competitive organizations— Red Fishers, Blue Ridge, Golden Hills, and Bowling Green—competed in various categories across the elementary, high school, and college levels.
Participants from the Elementary Department competed in various contests, including Storytelling (English and Filipino), Traditional Poster Making, Pagsulat ng Pormal na Sanaysay, and Talumpati. After being given time to prepare and complete their work, the students’ entries were evaluated by a panel of judges.
Bowling Green claimed victory in three competitions—Storytelling (Filipino, Levels 1 & 2) and Poster Making (Levels 1 & 2). Meanwhile, Blue Ridge secured the top spot in Talumpati, Golden Hills triumphed in Pagsulat ng Pormal na Sanaysay, and Red Fishers dominated the Storytelling (English, Levels 1 & 2) category.

Blue Ridge organization retains its third crowning streak as Louisse Danielle Segarra takes over the title of Miss Enverga 2025, together with the new crown bearers, Little Miss Juliana Trixie Labingdalawa of Bowling Green, Miss Young Irah Mae Repaja of Blue Ridge, and Miss Teen Kaye Ashley Leron of Golden Hills, during the coronation night held on February 21 at the EUC Gymnasium.

Leron also claimed all three major awards, while Labingdalawa received Powerscent Ambassadress, Best in Talent, and Envergan Choice award. Other candidates also received special and major awards. Bowling Green reclaimed the Little Miss title as she stunned the crowd during the test of their intellect, while Miss Teen Enverga graced the competition after assuring her spot for the major awards and the title for the crown. The event ended with crown fanatics meeting their bets and conducting photo opportunities on the stage.

outstanding performance aligned with MSEUF’s core values. Among the faculty awardees were Mrs. Marilou A. Gabrido, who received the Mindful Educator Award; Mr. Ricardo C. Abel, awarded the Service-Driven Mentor Award; Mr. Jerline P. Mercado, recognized for Excellence in Teaching and Research; Mrs. Divine Grace C. Castañeda, recipient of the Unity in Education Award; and Mrs. Maria Teresa G. Riparip, honored with the Fortitude in Academic Leadership Award.
Mrs. Maria Liza M. Vallarta was given the Outstanding Service Award, Mr. Teo Albert W. Alcala was honored for Excellence in Workplace Performance, and Mr. Jonathan N. Cube was recognized with the Fortitude in Commitment Award.
