Experts Leading the Way At every level, Las Vegas Events is headed up by industry veterans including in marketing and exposure. Michael Mack has been involved in special events for more than 25 years. He started his career in special events by serving as the media relations director for the Las Vegas Invitational, the PGA Tour event held at TPC at Summerlin. In 1996, Michael joined R&R Partners full-time and spent the next eight years at the agency as media relations director for the Las Vegas Bowl and the Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children. In 2004, Michael was hired as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Over the past sixteen years, he has led the marketing efforts for numerous major events including the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, FEI World Cup Finals, USA Basketball Showcase, America’s Party: Las Vegas New Year and many more. In particular, he has streamlined the marketing efforts for the National Finals Rodeo and introduced a 360-degree approach. Integral in this approach is the development of initiatives and programs that span the entire year, to more efficiently and effectively communicate to fans and all relevant publics. This includes the development of a complete in-house direct marketing, digital and social outreach program that further promotes the NFR experience. His initiatives have resulted in two-fold growth of fans visiting for the National Finals Rodeo and four consecutive successful FEI World Cup Finals.
