Laughlin

Size and location make Laughlin a unique event destination. Located on the picturesque banks of the Colorado River at the southern-most tip of Nevada is the resort town of Laughlin. The city boasts eight resort properties and more than 8,700 rooms and suites.

For the last thirty years, Laughlin has successfully hosted a myriad of town-wide events from exciting off-road racing and action-packed rodeos to major concerts and championship cook-offs.

The Laughlin Tourism Commission serves as the exclusive major special events agency for Laughlin and takes a proactive stance in seeking out and securing new event opportunities. As special events are increasingly vital to securing customers for the destination, LVE works closely with the LTC to evaluate event opportunities and garner support from the hotel properties.

One of the in-roads the destination has made is through the development of the Laughlin Event Center. The state-of-the-art outdoor venue can seat up to 12,000 in a concert-style floorplan. Since its inception, the venue has hosted headlining concerts featuring Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, KISS, Kid Rock, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, among many others.

Located just 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, Mesquite is a fast-growing city near the Arizona border.

Mesquite

Mesquite currently has eight resort properties and 1,871 rooms. It is also known for its selection of world-class golf courses and more than 300 days of sunshine on average each year.

LVE works closely with the LVCVA and Mesquite Resort Association to secure events for the destination. The list of annual events includes:

Mesquite has also hosted music fests, cook outs and several youth events at the Rising Star Sports Ranch.
