October is our final Nine and Dine which is Halloween Theme!!! We will have prizes for best costumes(s) and Best Cart décor! Also, the after play Halloween party!!!

It's been a hard-fought MGA season and over 100 men played throughout the year. The MGA played multiple formats, multiple partners and some individual games thrown in over the course of 6 months. Here are top Ten MGA winners: Ron Bryant, Dave Propst, Alex Bilbrey, Ron Coates, Troy Rose, Tony Wiley, Jansen Meyers, Jim Yost, Steve Hannaford, and Mike Chong. Great playing gentlemen and thank you to all MGA members for your participation.

Thispastmonthhasbeenfilledwithbeautifulweather.Alongwithbeautifulweatherunfortunatelymeansnorain whichmakesrecoveryfromsummerstressalittlemoredifficult.Wehavepushedthroughthoughandcompleted agronomicpracticesonourgreensandwillbecontinuingtoaerifyteesandfairways

StartingSeptemberoutwedeeptineaerifiedourgreenswithahalfinchtinethatwentapproximately8-9"deep Thisdisruptsthesandbelowtoallowourgreenstobreatheeasieranddrainbetter Followingthedeeptine aerificationweperformedanothersuccessfulDryJectwithSpecializedTurfSolutions.Thisprocessnotonlycreated morechannelsforrootstofollowandcreatedahealthierrootsystem,butitalsohelpedfillthedeeptineholes. This month we would like to celebrate the amazing and respected Mr Tony Wiley! Mr Wiley is enjoying his retirement to the fullest and has played more golf than any Member in the past year, 162 rounds! He absolutely adores his wonderful wife, Therese, and refers to her as his “better half” Together they have 5 beautiful children, and 7 precious grandchildren He has lived in Beavercreek, Ohio for his entire life and has 9 siblings! Although he has lived here his whole life, he loves to travel the world It is truly an honor to have you and your family as a part of our membership!
