This Spring is our time to bloom with several projects getting underway to refresh and renew your Club experience We are super excited to turn the calendar page to May The much anticipated capital improvement project of golf greens replacement is now underway The greens received their first herbicide spray application on April 21st to begin killing all plants on the putting surfaces and collars. This step helps ensure that when the top layers of soil are removed and replaced, no trace of old bermuda or weeds remain behind Until the actual earth moving begins, we’ll continue to play on the current surfaces While you can expect them to go off color, we will continue to roll and/or mow as needed to ensure a smooth surface. Get ready for some fast and fun putting for a few weeks! In addition to the greens renovation, patio paint and course restroom refresh, we have several other projects that will be getting underway in May, so watch your email for updates and progress reports

The plan now is to continue to play on the current greens through Sunday May 18th after receiving the official greens demo date from our contractor As a result, I thought this would be a great time to offer a couple of weeks of #36 for our female golfers Join me Wednesday May 7th and 14th at 3pm for a short game clinic followed by 9 holes played from 50 yards from the green. The objective is to score 36 or better; that’s an average of 4 strokes per hole Sound easy? Come give it a try! The focus here is on fundamentals of scoring and perfect for all levels of golfers There is no charge for the program, just your usual 9 hole golf fee will apply I plan to continue to build on this through the summer with other opportunities to improve your game and meet new golf buddies! Please let the golf shop know if you are planning to attend and be ready to get started promptly at 3pm on the front range tee.

Celebrate Mom this month with our Mother’s Day Brunch! Join us Sunday May 12th for a delicious buffet including a Chef manned omlet station and made to order waffles to name a few of my favorites! Reservations are available from 11am to 2pm Call today to secure your table
