GOPI BYLUPPALA An accidental engineer from Madras University, Gopi Byluppala turned into a successful food entrepreneur with the startup The Culinary Lounge and has worked with around 500 global chefs. He believes in the philosophy of #NeverEatAlone. What is a typical day like in your life? As a startup entrepreneur, I don’t have much to do beyond my work and family. My day starts early with my black coffee, meeting various teams in the first half, have lunch followed by a quick book reading, get my work done, reach home and play with my four-year-old daughter Veeksha and one-yearold son Nikshith, Dinner with mom dad & my wife Swathi, a quick check on work, wrap up the pending tasks, plan the next day and hit the bed. What do you do in your free time? I love to cook for my family and friends, read books, I am a crazy movie buff (No language barrier) and I also love to practice cricket. 10 MAY, 2021 TULIP
How do you think the food industry is evolving in these tough times of pandemic? These are the most challenging times for everyone out there. We all know 2020 was a bad hit for the hospitality industry. Again, from April 20th, the city is going to be shut during the night. The only way to survive this pandemic is with constant innovation and quick pivot as per conditions. Dark kitchens & home deliveries became the saviour for many traditional restaurant businesses. Startups like us with lean teams have certain flexibility to change the course of action. We quickly added to digital and at-home culinary sessions which helped us to great extent.
What kind of initiatives does the culinary lounge take to promote chefs and cuisines? The Culinary Lounge is a Theatre for Chefs. We work with 500+ chefs across the globe, starting from a tribal chef in rural Telangana to Michelin Star in Bangkok. We map them to various projects based upon their core strengths. We firmly believe that chefs need to have a strong brand for themselves and our Food Media Firm - HandiTalks will help them by providing support for a few who are planning to write their cook-books, generate quality content for their websites and blogs, publish their views in various forums, etc. And when it comes to cuisine, we always strive to take our Indian cuisine global. , The Culinary Lounge is currently working with the Bolivian government to promote a culinary exchange program. We are working with Chef Akbar towards building a unique recipe with quinoa using the traditional Hyderabadi biryani recipe, adapting to the Bolivians tastes and ingredients. We call it The Bolivian Biriyani. This is being launched on their independence day, August 6th 2021, as a gift from India! A few years ago we invited Mehboob Alam Khan, the legendary culinary personality from Hyderabad. This was for a group of 50 CEOs from 500 companies across the globe. They came to The Culinary Lounge for an experience, where Khan Saab introduced the 400-year-old culinary history of Hyderabad while demonstrating the entire intricacy of the process, of how an authentic Hyderabadi biryani is made. From meat selection to choosing each ingredient, to marination and even the aromas of the cooked biryani! Most of them had documented the process and published the same in their local forums. We work with international journalists and bloggers, helping them understand Indian culinary culture and its integrities. How can the regional chefs promote their respective cuisine in Hyderabad? As Prof. Vikas Sha MBE, author of Thought Economics said, “Food is not just one of the basic things needed by all living things for survival (alongside air, water, shelter and habitat); it is nutrition, nature, culture, spirituality, social-good, desideratum, an aesthetic object and art. It is simultaneously the most social and intimate of activities, engaging our senses in a manner rarely achieved by any other aspect of our lives.”Regional cuisines exploration is the future. There is a lot to be discovered and modernized yet in restaurants, the trend has just started. Any chef, who understands the culinary heritage of the particular cuisine can promote the cuisine. They need to generate interesting content in their blogs, podcasts, social media, by sharing their knowledge beyond paneer or biryani recipes.
Which is your favorite place in India for food and why? I don’t have any particular favorite places; I just enjoy food as it is supposed to be. Wherever I travel I prefer to eat local food. Early this year I was in Udaipur Taj Lake Palace for 4 days. My interest was only to explore and enjoy Rajasthani and Marwari cuisine; their Laal maas, Dal Bati churma, kachori are delicious.
If you are given a genie and have to make 2 wishes what will you wish? Erase this covid from our lives Should always be happy and make others happy.
What inspires and motivates you? I read a lot of books and I meet many people. These are my two sources of learnings, inspiration I take from. It’s amazing to know everyone has a unique quality that we can learn from and that motivates me. Future plans are very short this time; just survive and help others to survive.
Indian cuisine or Western Cuisine? Indian cuisine, especially Telugu cuisine.
Tell us your relationship with food? For me, food is an expression. It is a Universal Social Lubricant that bonds people. #NeverEatAlone is my philosophy and I have a habit of dining with complete strangers. Till date, I have been lucky to have had 900+ dinners and made fabulous friends over meals. The best one was with a Chinese guy at the London Airport, where he did not even know a word in English, neither did I understand Chinese but it was still the most interesting conversation I’d ever had.
Are you a coffee or a tea person? Big fan of Colombian coffee
If you are left in a supermarket and asked to pick up only 3 things what would you pick? Maggie, Eggs, Chocolates - Not for me, but for my Daughter :) Food or Gym? Both, Eat well and workout hard Your biggest regret? Absolutely no regrets in life :)

Pariwar’s Have More
When it comes to food majority of times we go by the looks of it and then the review. At times we do come across few gems which might not appeal at the beginning but would turn out to be a total game changer. One such hidden gem in Secudrabad is Have More Restaurant and Bakers. By the looks of it you might not find something extraordinary to step in, but once you do, you won’t regret it even once. The restaurant is well renowned for its mouth watering haleem which is slowly cooked on wood fire and loaded with ghee, cashews and other myriad flavours. The most fascinating part being, it is available all year round, which means you need not wait for the Ramadan season to enjoy this delicacy. Apart from this, their Chilly Fish, Pahadi Chicken, loose prawns, Paneer Malai Tikka are to die for! The flavors are admirable, I not too sweet, not too spicy, just the perfect creamy texture and taste. As they say, Hyderabadi’s meal is never complete without Biryani! The Mutton biryani at Parivars Have More has a unique flavour and character. The meat is very tender with right amount of spices and great balance of rice & meat ratio. The star items on their menu are the Double ka meetha and Khubani ka meetha. For people who enjoy a little less sweetness in their dessert might find it a little sweet for their liking, overall the taste was perfect. If you’re a tea aficionado, dont forget to try the Irani Chai at this restaurant along with their staple Osmani Biscuits. Address: SD Road, Secundrabad Contact: +91 79-47145622

What was the driving force behind you starting food blogging? I wanted to showcase the beauty of food and beverage industry of Hyderabad. That was my whole purpose of starting food blogging. I never had the intentions or plans of becoming an influencer. There is so much to this beautiful city than just biryani. We have world class clubs, restaurants, cafes, lounges & street food too. I wanted to show all this to the people of Hyderabad through my blog. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? I usually don’t keep long term goals. I believe in living one day at a time. But for the answer’s sake, I would love to see myself representing Hyderabad at an international level with regards to either food or food blogging. How do you think has the pandemic impacted the gourmet sector? Oh! It has impacted in a very disastrous way. The whole food and beverage industry is bleeding bad. We thought 2020 was the worst year of history. It took a lot of efforts and time to revive the food industry after 2020. And now after few months we are back to square. 2021 is proving to be more dangerous. I just hope and pray that things get back to normal and the gourmet sector comes back to life. Three things you love about your profession? Eating food, exploring new places and socialising with people. All these three go hand in hand. It’s a great feeling when you connect with people over food. I have met people as strangers over food sessions and now they have become more like a family. That’s the positive impact food leaves on you. Any suggestions for upcoming food bloggers? I’ll put it in simple words for everyone to understand. Food blogging is like any other profession. If you want a job in a particular field you should be a qualified candidate. Food blogging is also same. Build your profile first, upload good content, learn about food & its origins. Master the skill of writing a detailed food review. Build a follower base & Be consistent. These are some of the suggestions that upcoming bloggers should follow. Things will automatically fall into places.

If not a food blogger, what would your alternative career option be? I would have been a happy retailer or a motivational speaker. I get a lot of messages from my followers saying that I inspire and motivate them in one or the other way. I am glad that I am able to do that. What element of your work do you enjoy the most? There’s not just one but multiple elements I would say. Delicious food, grabbing knowledge about different cuisines, bonding with people who loves food, interacting with industry experts etc. But if you ask me to pick any one, it has to be eating food ! My whole world resolves around food.

10 years in this field! How has the journey been so far? A BLESSED ONE I would say. As I said I never had the intention of becoming a famous influencer. All I wanted to do was explore places and pass on the information to the public of Hyderabad. I kept doing that every single day and from a hobby it become a responsibility. A responsibility which I enjoy and cherish daily. It’s been a fruitful journey. From no one to the best Blogger of Hyderabad, 50+ media articles, 6 awards, guest speaker at multiple media events & colleges and many more. It’s an amazing feeling to touch base so many people through an online platform. Connecting with my followers was the best part of my Journey. The amount of love, respect and trust they show in Hyderabad Food Diaries is just unbelievable.

“The best part about Food blogging in Hyderabad is the people. The audience we have in our city is extremely friendly and almost everyone living in Hyderabad is crazy about food. Same goes for the restaurant owners in the city who are passionate in preparing new dishes and reinvigorating taste. The love our people give us is outstanding.
Hyderabad is a great place if you are a food lover. You can find almost every cuisine here and at affordable rates to compared to other cities. While Irani Chai and Biryani put Hyderabad on the Global map, the hidden gems like Nahari, Kababs and Cheese Dosas keep us locals busy!! Also it is interesting that Hyderabadis create their own version of every dish - You have Hyderabadi Pizza (available in every bakery), Hyderabadi Shawarma, and now Hyderabadi Chinese food as well!”

“The term blog was coined when writers started posting their journals on the internet. When the foodies joined this bandwagon, they were termed food bloggers. Unfortunately, this term has become the primary title of anyone who writes, clicks, or posts about food. I never liked being called a food blogger, because first of all, I don’t have a blog. Second, my love and passion for food doesn’t fit in the title. I am just a foodie and it encompasses much more than blogging, clicking, and posting. My passion is not limited to food. I am a lover of food and the culture of Hyderabad. Hyderabad has a rich heritage and a diverse culture. That’s what makes me love what I do. Living this beautiful culture and exploring its great food is my passion. The mighty Hyderabadi Biryani, the beautiful South Indian breakfast, and the never-ending streetside mouth waterers strike a connection with people they cannot get rid of, and if you visit Hyderabad in the holy month of Ramzan, it’s like love at first sight! My journey of food started way before social media was born. Going around finding new things to eat was my favorite pastime as a teenager. Living in Secunderabad and going all the way to Charminar just to have Irani Chai at Shehran hotel was a norm back then. From Irani cafes, roadside kebab stalls to today’s vibrant fine dine industry, I have seen Hyderabad’s food culture evolve multiple times. And it has grown the fastest in the last 10 years. From the rise of Chinese cuisine to the invasion of Western QSR brands, to the popularity of Arabian cuisine, I have adapted to all the new forms of the city’s food scene. But my heart lies in my roots. My first love is and will always be Hyderabadi food. The most beautiful thing about Hyderabadi cuisine is adaptability. We embrace food from any part of the world and make it our own by adding our flavours to it. The most popular dishes of Hyderabad like Biryani, Haleem, and Chai were brought from Iran and Arab but were decorated with Hyderabadi flavours and presented in Hyderabadi style which gave these foreign dishes the stardom they never got in their hometown. That’s about my love for Hyderabadi food and its great culture. No matter how fast the technology grows and regardless of how the pandemic changes the world, the spirit of adaptability, hospitality, and the language of love in food will always keep Hyderabad bustling with people. “Mere Sheher Ku Logaan Suun Mamoor Kar, Rakhya Jyun Tu Dariya Me Mann Ya Samee”. Fill my city with people, just like you’ve filled the ocean with fish, O Almighty Apparent and obvious, this couplet by the founder of Hyderabad Sultan Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah is the force behind the ever shining and undying spirit of Hyderabad.”

My food blogging journey started in 2012 in Mumbai where I wrote about my food experiences on Burrp and Zomato. My blog partner Yaashna Rajani, and I setup the Gastronomical Affair in 2014 on Instagram and also wrote blogs on our website back then.
Being born and brought up in Mumbai, my taste buds were accustomed to the coastal flavours. However, in 2018, I got married and moved to Hyderabad but the Mumbaikar in me could never understand the Biryani craze that these Hyderabadis had. It took me a while to fit in, but, after exploring various types of Biryanis, it ended up growing on me. And today I do consider myself to be a true Hyderabadi.”

“Having spent over ten years being a food blogger in various cities around the country, I can proudly say that I found Hyderabad to be my true calling. Be it the cultural heritage or a kind, embracing community, the city truly has been promising for me since day one. From starting my Instagram page here in this city to meeting accomplished business owners and culinary enthusiasts, overall it was a wonderful opportunity to learn from some incredible sources. And it’s not just about the people! The food in the city is an eclectic melting pot of regional influences from neighbouring states while having a royal Nizami lineage from the older times. Being in the business of exploring the past of such dishes and bringing in that fresh perspective of their origin, I truly have the ride of my life when rediscovering those delicious Shikampuri kebabs and the exotic Nihari Paya on the bustling streets of Charminar.
With an unprecedented surge in new restaurants, pubs, and cafés popping up, the city of Nizams is slowly getting on competing grounds with food capitals of the country like Delhi and Mumbai which also makes it the perfect time to test the waters. Exploring new places and garnering insights about the diverse cuisines on offer has never been easier which truly makes the place worthwhile for bloggers like me!”

“Why I like being a food blogger from Hyderabad? When I first thought I’d get into food blogging, it was because of my background, I am a culinary graduate so that was the first major point to get into this field. Though it’s not a Full time thing I give it a lot of time to explore, know about food, photography etc. The best part about the Hyderabad food community is the bonding we have, it’s much more than meeting over food, giving a constructive feedback to the restaurant but more about sharing knowledge and getting ourselves better too.
To be frank there’s no hatred kind of feeling in most of the bloggers here, everyone has their own identity and style of work. My major goal has always been to provide a fair constructive feedback to a restaurant, be it good or bad, but eventually that’s how they get to know where they’ve got to improve. I always strive on this point to every restaurant, treat everyone equally, every customer is a influencer , every positive word of mouth is a form of positive marketing. Providing top quality food only when influencers or bloggers come in and then serving something else to your potential customers wouldn’t help you in a longer run.”

“Hyderabad has been considered as the best city to live in India, according to the Times Of India. They say once a Hyderabadi always a Hyderabadi! You fall in love with this place once you start living here and it’s almost difficult to leave, and even if you do, you’re definitely bound to come back, as if it’s magnetic! I am a huge food fanatic, involving myself in exploring new places and try a lot of dishes. Being a food lover, I find Hyderabad as one of the best places to blog in. One of the biggest factors that give a city its identity is its cuisine, and Hyderabad has a pretty evolved one. Its cuisine has been heavily influenced by its time under various Muslim sultanates, and its flagship dish is unarguably the Hyderabadi biryani. The city has even more cuisines to offer, such as North Indian, Italian, Pan-Asian, Turkish, South Indian cuisine and even more. Swanky restaurants, delicious street food, and experimental dishes in quirky settings all contribute to Hyderabad’s constantly evolving, global cuisine.
We may still not have the geo-tagging for biryani, but we are the city known for the best grub in the country. From a high tea for around Rs 4,000 upwards at Taj Falaknuma to a cutting chai for Rs 4, everything in between is available in the city. Surprisingly, even the latter is tasty and fulfilling. That’s to say you can get a traditional full English Breakfast as well- just head to a cafe or gastro-pub for your taste of British cuisine. Also, Hyderabad’s nightlife is super exciting, with the best nightclub and pubs in the city. Alright, fine! We were a little late to the microbrewery party! A lot of other cities did get their microbreweries up and running ages ago. And yet, like everything else, we make our mark even if we are late. They popped up like mushrooms in the city and are thriving with the love that Hyderabadis have showered over brewed beer. I am exploring different restaurants or food joints in Hyderabad and showcasing them on my page. You can take a look and get to know about great places to eat in Hyderabad.” 46 MAY, 2021 TULIP

“If you ask me that one thing which can set up my mood and cheer me up is food. I began this journey in 2019 when I was graduate student and you know how college life is, not even a single day we missed bunking classes to go eat something. That’s when I was encouraged and influenced by my friends to start blogging. In the beginning I was very skeptical about the whole idea. Being a food blogger in Hyderabad you get to try and explore wide range of food from different cuisine. Hyderabad is a food-hub offering everything from a basic street food to high class fancy food experience. Although Hyderabad has a lot of food to offer be it Asian, Chinese, continental, North Indian etc but the authentic Hyderabadi food always stands out. Hyderabadi food is rich and exotic and has a combination of Arabic, Mughal and Turkish cuisines. From biryani to kebabs to sweet dishes, the royal Hyderabadi cuisine has it all. You can’t talk about biryanis without mentioning the Hyderabadi Biryani. Cooked with either mutton or chicken, this recipe is the stairway to heaven. Believe it or not, this dish is such a favourite that people don’t mind having it for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I can’t name it all but Hyderabadi food no doubt can win anyone’s heart.”

I don’t call myself a blogger, I am a food critic I write reviews, share feedbacks to the management and recommend places to my audience. Hyderabad is a growing platform for food trends and people are ready to adapt. Hyderabad is a place where you find tons of spices in every dish, even in CHAI. However when it comes to Hyderabad, Biryani is what comes in one’s mind, no matter what the occasion is. People here love to eat and they’re proud of it, not only Hyderabadi food but also south Indian. Talking about food, the best time to explore and experience food in Hyderabad is in the month of Ramadan. Charminar and other areas in old city are filled with street food and Dessert. You name it and they have it!
Starting from Chai, Snacks, Maincourse and Desserts. People here wait for Ramadan only to have Haleem and not to forget the Pathar Ka Ghosht, Maragh, Tala Hua Gosh and the list goes on. More importantly, the passion for food has been shaped over eras with so many diverse communities coming together. The city addresses a perfect world, with cooking styles for pretty much every sense of taste. Regardless of whether they are street food discoveries or a hint of Persian and Turkish influence with an Indian twist, this is the place to be.
Whether it is a high-end gourmet restaurant or a small, cozy, easy-going food joint, you will get it all over here. Name the cuisine that you adore, and you are destined to find some place in the nook and corner of Hyderabad. There are numerous bistros, eateries, takeaway spots serving Indian, Arabic, Pan Asian and Turkish food to give some examples. “One of the reasons why I love the food scenario in Hyderabad the most is it’s versatility. It is an amalgamation of different cultures and cuisines. When people think of Hyderabad, the first thing that comes to their mind is biryani. But there is so much more. We have food from all over Telangana, Andhra, Nizami and a little from Maharashtra, karnataka and Tamilnadu. As agriculture is the prevalent occupation of the state - jonna rotte (jowar roti), Ragi ambali(Ragi porridge), natu kodi pulusu are the most famous dishes amongst the many villages, towns of Telangana. Andhra meals, thalis and pulao are also popular and significant. We are one of the most recognized places in the country for tiffins. South Indian tiffin eateries like dosa bandis, are all over the place and many of them stay open late at night and few others even stay open for 24hours.
And coming to the Asli hyderabadi khana - we have biryani obviously and there is so much more like - kebabs, haleem, chai, osmania biscuits and the best part is the Hyderabadi breakfast. I love starting my day with malai paya, nihari, kheema, bheja and Irani chai. When I started blogging, the only thing I had in my mind was to try and explore more of the regional delicacies from our state and others too. Every region in Telangana has something different to offer. I have had the opportunity to try so many of them and document it through my blog and my Instagram. This journey made me realize that there is so much more to food than it looks and it’s taking me to places. I have discovered my love for cooking and I cannot wait to explore and educate myself about more cuisines and delicacies across the country.”

Grazing Tables Be The Star Of Gatherings
The lockdown brought minimalist ideas relating to gathering. We are engaging in occasions that are intimate and convenient, as the big occasions usually involve having to hire waiters which could turn not-so intimate or fun-loving! While we love to treat our guests with utmost comfort and delicious savory, and not having to hire waiters might sound unpleasant- so let’s introduce Grazing Tables to the gatherings. Grazing Tables are the tables of delightful treats - the choice of food you wish to keep are limitless though the stunners are cheese and charcuterie. Grazing Tables are similar to buffets - but here, your guests are free to pick and nibble here and there instead of loading their plate. People tend to love the concept of Grazing Tables as it has plenty of options to choose from and, it is more like chit-chatting and nibbling. A way to make your gatherings intimate and convenient for you and your guests! While you include Grazing Tables, prep for a few things that will help you create that aesthetic look - the food still stands first.
Complement the Theme:
Host your party with a theme in mind and decorate everything according to the Theme - including your Grazing Tables. Add a few ornaments here and there, or go for a rustic charm theme with an old rusty table - add to it some dried grass/flowers, you are all set!
In addition to meats and cheese, add plenty of fruits - cut them into pieces and add to the table. Alongside the exciting taste of fruits and specialty meats, the aesthetic look with a splash of bright colors will give it a look. TULIP - MAY, 2021 85
Play around with the Decor: Make the decor minimalist with some candles or a bed of greenery- this gives a chic look while adding contrast to height with the platters and, adding greenery makes it aesthetically pleasing.
Square Table over rectangular:
Using a square table while the middle of the table is open for a dramatic centerpiece creates a very sophisticated look while enjoying a beautiful evening with your guests!
Tip from an Expert INAM UR RAHMAN KHAN - (Executive Chef & Founder-Chef Inam Steak House)
“The first and most important thing I keep in my mind is the “occasion” whether the food table spread is done for a special occasion or just a casual one therefore based on it I decide how elaborate or simple I can do the food spread. For example, if it’s a group or family dinner I make sure the spread must cater to all age groups and it also must have diversity in flavors, colors; perfectly match the theme and your surrounding ambience. Once I select the right table cloths, cutlery, crockery n little elements like budvas, flower decor, some mini dinner table lamps. I usually prefer food spreads on a big platter and since I deal with mostly healthy choices of food I make sure the spread is even out with a combination of protein, fiber, slow-digesting carbs, and good fats. What you see on our spreads are lots of grilled lean beef, roast chicken, tandoori kebabs, slow-cooked sheem shoulder or shanks, if there are kids and teenagers in the group I prefer adding some mini burgers, mini Chicago deep dish pizza but at the time I like to balance this high fiber rich salads in the form of kale n broccoli salad, grilled zucchini, Boston summer green salads with vitamin c rich dressings. For regular carbs, I keep wither mashed potatoes or our special bakhoor smoked Persian rice and for alow digesting carbs I prefer bhagara brown rice with quinoa. As for the Desserts are concern our Nyk style baked cheesecake with malai Qubaani is very popular followed by Herb infused Sulaimani.”

Twitter Bans Kangana Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account was permanently suspended on Tuesday following her tweet, wherein she urged PM Narendra Modi to ‘tame’ Mamata Banerjee with his ‘gundai’. This is what she had tweeted which caused Twitter to suspend her account: It did not stop there. Kangana added, “Fortunately, I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice including my own art in the form of cinema but my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved and censored for thousands of years and still there is no end to the suffering.” We would really like to know what suffering is she talking about? She tried to give her suspension a ‘national spin’, perhaps with the intention of gaining sympathy. The only thing that Kangana deserves is anger for trying to incite the PM.
Kim Kardashian Purchase in Trouble
Kim Kardashian has found herself in a spot! The reality star and beauty mogul has been asked by the US Government to return a rare piece of art that was reportedly brought in from Belgium. According to a report in Artnet, Kim Kardashian purchased a limestone statue, named “Fragment of Myron’s Samian Athena,” in 2016 from Axel Vervoordt Gallery in Belgium. As per the details, the antique piece of art was smuggled out of Italy. The piece which reportedly dates back to the 1st or 2nd century and was arrived in Los Angeles in May 2016. However, it was stopped at the airport as authorities suspected that the statue could be a “protected cultural property”. The statue arrived along with some other decorative furniture objects and 40 antique items that valued at a staggering $745,882. The shipment was not released and in 2018 Italy’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage sent an archaeologist to study the piece of art. As per the archaeologist’s report, the statue was deemed to have been “looted, smuggled, and illegally exported from Italy”. This resulted in Italy asking for it back. While it is not clear that Kim Kardashian knew about the statue’s origins, the US Feds filed a civil forfeiture complaint in California on Friday instructing the beauty mogul to give it up.

BOOKS Invisible Man
An extremely powerful story of a young Southern Negro, from his late high school days through three years of college to his life in Harlem. His early training prepared him for a life of humility before white men, but through injustices- large and small, he came to realize that he was an “invisible man”.
Catch 22 by Joseph Heller is a well-known classic. It is a satirical novel on war. The novel is set between 1942 to 1944 — during world war two. The book follows a nonchronological order narration, describing events from the point of view of different characters. The events are out of sequence so the timeline develops along with the plot.
Some books are so famous that it seems redundant to review them, but it’s always nice to see a classic book through new eyes. This is true of Jane Eyre, which continues to attract new generations of readers, who experience the book in a different way than its original readers, but continue to find its themes relevant and its story readable. It’s easy to see why Jane Eyre has experienced the enduring popularity that it has.

Aries Confusing, even disconcerting situations in which you have felt trapped may suddenly change. The monthly Cosmos influence helps you break out of nebulous situations and get your life going forward again. If you need freedom, this aspect should give it to you.
Taurus You approach one of the most profound times of the year. May 2021 is a powerful and intense time representing a “portal” through which you can now pass. Issues of money, sex, and trust are likely now. Feelings flood to the surface.
Gemini Gathering new data and information sets the stage for a breakthrough now. You are able to think fresh solutions to old problems. Don’t waste this time being rigid or conditioned to old mindsets. Try pure spontaneity as you start in one direction and end up somewhere completely different.
Virgo Cancer Work to give your life more definition. Get rid of stuff you no longer need. Establish new ways of doing things. Spend time in nature. Walk in the woods.
Libra Old love issues and patterns surface once again. Past lovers may reappear, especially those with whom you have unfinished business. Look to your past love life to help you understand relationships now. Reevaluate current significant relationships.
Capricorn Unburden your load by spring-cleaning. Sort four piles: keepers, possible keepers, useful giveaways, and garbage. Make space externally to allow for new space internally. Then watch the new come into your life.
Leo You may come into contact with those who want to take advantage of you, seduce or sweet-talk you into something that is not good for you. Circumstances become nebulous, confusing, or you receive mixed messages.
You are prone to get sucked into your chronic worry scenarios, feel overwhelmed with far too many details and react abruptly or critically. It doesn’t all have to get done today. Slow down and breathe. Take one step at a time. Take care of business methodically, focus on the one task at hand and let the future take care of itself.
Sagittarius Scorpio Face what comes with honesty and compassion. Soften rather than harden. Be willing to forgive and be forgiven. Simplify rather than complicate.
Aquarius Avoid committing your time and energy to a floundering ship, for example, a company that cannot be rescued. Or is known for taking advantage of employees.
This is the time to lighten your psychological load, to synthesize and summarize your understanding of your deep and essential needs. If you are part of a spiritual lineage or want to be, this is the time to ask teachers, mentors and guides for spiritual initiations, or to be taught mystical techniques.
Pisces Be as truthful as you can. Stay away from co-dependent or untrustworthy others. Take time to get to know anyone you meet for the first time this month. Trust your intuition if you feel a warning sign. Use your discrimination.
