Our lovely guests, Welcome to Hula-Hula Hvar, a special place on the island of Hvar. If you haven’t been here yet, it won’t take you long to recognize why we are announcing it with the word "special". The smell of lavender and endless sea, the touch of sun and happy, smiling people all around are just a few reasons, why Hvar is one of the most enjoyable and loved islands in Croatia and wider and why all of us are so happy to be a part of this worldwide famous island´s story. Every year we try to bring a new Hula-Hula experience to you and we did the same this year. We have made some changes at the beach, prepared some new VIP lounges, and we are bringing some new, fresh drinks and delicious new food to you too. We have designed a brand new collection of clothes and most importantly, we are bringing some new, hot sound vibes to you. Our wish is to make you feel like at home when you are spending time at our Hula-Hula spot. You can enjoy the sunbeds all day long, spoil your taste buds with heavenly good food and drinks, relax listening to chill-out music and later, when the sun charges your batteries, you can dance your energy out again by joining our after beach events full of good house music and magical sunsets. Hvar is situated in the middle of the Croatian adriatic coast and is known since the ancient past for its important strategic and nautical location, its historical, cultural and natural monuments. Deep and pleasurable bays of the island have ensured the docking and communication ever since prehistoric times and by that facilitated colonization of the island more than 5000 years bC. greeks from the island of Paros founded colony Pharos in 385 bC on the island of Hvar. Hvar was the integral part of the roman province of Dalmatia.
Today, Island of Hvar is considered one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world and Croatian top tourist destination.
Moderate Mediterranean climate with mild and rainy winters and warm and sunny summers favored the lush vegetation that makes life on the island more pleasant. The crystal clear sea is rich in fish, while the island's sunny slopes are ideal
for the growth of herbs, growing grapes, olives, figs and other Mediterranean cultures. It is the town of Hvar that has the highest number of sunshine hours per year. While the distance from the mainland can sometimes be a handicap, however it is a great protection from the big industries and traffic jams. Instead of that, there are vast fields of herbs, immortelle, lavender, ancient olive trees and vineyards, in immaculate harmony between human and nature. â—†
DEVOTION the beauty of HVAR
The sun is the fairest giver that spread its gifts – light, warmth and beauty equally to everyone. from the friendly relations that sun and the Island of Hvar have, unique fruits are born. Mysterious, medicinal ingredients of beautiful flowers, if rubbed with gentle touches into our skin, give us health and beauty. Throughout the entire production process ingredients are not overheated, so that all the ingredients remain intacted and the same as they were given by nature. Products that Devotion Hvar offers do not contain water. In each product, that contains water, formation of microorganisms is likely to happen. In products that do not contain water, the use of preservatives is not necessary. such products are applied to the skin in an amount of 1/3 of the conventional products containing water. Devotion Hvar includes two main herbs: lavander and Immortelle. lavender is a Mediterranean plant that has a 2500 year-long history. Various properties were given to lavander and man used it for

In the '70s of the last century 75 to 80 tons of oil was produced on the island of Hvar, which made up around 8 % of world oil production. lovre Tudor from Malo grablje held a record in 1957 – by producing 510 kilograms of lavender oil which helped him earn the title of world's "King of lavender".
Immortelle (Helichrysum italicum) is a plant known since the ancient times. It was often mentioned by the greek philosopher Theophrastus and a roman writer Pliny the Elder. at that time it was mentioned as a medicinal herb mostly used in the treatment and healing of wounds, especially those inflicted in battles. Immortelle was known and widespread in the Middle ages primarily in pharmacy. We find it in the atlas of Pietro Mattioli, in the mid-16th century, a physician and naturalist from siena. On the Dalmatian islands it's believed that immortelles are accumulating heat from the sun in its flowers. Therefore, women are filling pillows with immortelle flowers which makes them warm during cold windy weather. Immortelle oil contains the most effective known compounds that extremely effectively influence the regeneration of tissue. In contemporary manufacturing, cosmetic preparations containing immortelle are considered to be the most effective known preparations in anti-aging facial treatments. â—† www.DEVOTION-HVaR.COm

They started their career as duo while being residents in DfK club, their current resident place is boom boom room club in banja luka. Their Dj sets include all types (genres) of house music: deep house, tech house and house.

They have played their music across the whole region of former yugoslavia. Some of their most prominent performances include: playing at EXIT festival in Novi Sad and Cirkus in ljubljana. last year they played at our place and also in the club Pink Champagne Hvar. They have also been participating in many other festivals.
Ever since his early age Dj nobody sometimes called somebody was fascinated with music ... In the late 70's he started to go out to family-run clubs where he was involved in the performance and work of numerous Djs. growing up in the 80's disco music, today well known as studio 54, with the strengthening of disco and house music scene in the transition from 80's to 90's, he entered the clubbing scene of his home town in 1990 and since then he has been working as a professional Dj.
Digital seekers have cooperated with many famous Djs: fatboy slim, The shapeshifters, Crazibiza, jay lumen, Mike Vale, jerry ropero, Paul Hazendok, Kiril Dzajkovski, Vlada asanin, Marko nastic, Mladen Tomic, sinisa Tamamovic and many more. ◆
DJ Nobody/Somebody is a DJ who does not belong to any particular music style and his rich experience and exceptional sense of music enables him to combine different styles which can be felt in the atmosphere during his performance. ◆
He jumped over from the german capital of carnival in Cologne. as a kid of the 70's he grew up with his mothers record collection from james brown, boney M to abba. "I still keep them in my record collection. "I personally am addicted to old fashioned guitar music, but when it comes to parties, I prefer the sound of deep german techno." but stop, this man is a multitalent. He was not only cofounder of boxer records, he also invented the Crèpe sushi rolls and runs one of Colognes most popular bars, #sixpack! so don't be surprised when it comes to the likes of *nsYnC or jennifer lopez. "My motto is: let's go nuts!" so, ladies and gentlemen, expect a different journey which usually starts like a smooth german beach house session and might end up as a wild champagne splashing party with your personal hits from the two Justins (Bieber and Timberlake) passing the 80's and the 90's Pop to the sounds of today's tomorrowland. ... This year marks his 10th season playing at our beach! "I'll always prefer playing at Hula-Hula to any club I've been." ◆
TONka
klOX since his early years, music has been a vital component in his life. growing up parallel to the growing electronic scene in his hometown, made him ambitious to be a part of it. With a decade of experience under his belt, this resulted in an eclectic taste in music, lucrative gigs in world-renowned clubs in both Hvar and split, and he was also a proud finalist in the first ever »Burn Residency« competition in Croatia in 2012. In 2014, he started a collaboration with like minded musicians called the "Deepholic" project. "music, like any type of art, has its own unique way of making people happy. That is the feeling it gives me and it is the same feeling that I want to pass onto other people". ◆
Put Your Hands up In The air Put Your Hands up In The air" is just one of the many battle cries that defines the Dj Tonka brand. growing up in a family of artists & jazz musicians and being strongly influenced by the new Wave sound that dominated the 80's, it was the german Thomasrené gerlach who threw the first internationally recognized House record on the market. With the release of "feel", "flashback" and "Phun-ky" on the u.s. label force Inc. He created a new genre along the way: the cut-up disco, from which later the offshoot French House developed. "You're a legend" were axwell's words, when the two met for the first time - where else, but in a Dj booth. norman Cook aka fatboy slim expressed this at a common set in brighton by a spontaneous genuflection. It was Daft Punk who were inspired by Dj Tonka's distinctive melodies influencing their hit "around The World". They even paid homage to him by name dropping in the track "Teachers" from their debut album "Homework". ◆
PIllE Pille's natural sequence is the production which began in 2001 along with his friend lushi. Over the years their cooperation finally matured in 2006 with a label acilectro where they started promoting their vision of underground dance music, and it is still alive, presenting techhouse and acid-house, while on acilectro Blue sublabel they promote deep-house vibe, and currently he is working on a new live project in a new studio. Except for production, he has played a leading role in recent years in the local scene, organizing promotional parties and holding residencies at all the important places in winter and in summer, (Pink Champagne & Hula-Hula on island of Hvar, Kameleon club in split) and also playing in some major festivals at the Croatian coast such as barrakud, Hideout etc. ◆

although his music foundation is based on classical clarinet education (Music academy in split) where he obtained a bachelors degree, during studying and upon graduation he began to develop a passion for saxophone and all of its variety of musical styles ( jazz, blues, soul, funk). He was greatly influenced by artists like Maceo Parker, Dave sanborn and Candy Dulfer. Classical music and instrumental technique education remarkably helped to improve his skills as a saxophone player. His music style and improvisations perfectly meets with electronic music genres like Deep , Progressive & funky House, which he performs in collaboration with many croatian and international Djs. The energy, expression and interaction that he brings into his performanceseasily infect audiences and lift up the atmosphere to the next level. ◆
His career is strongly attached to disco music; sounds and singers of that period influence his musical taste, but it’s at the beginning of the 80's that there’s a big shift in the music world, which gives birth to new music genres but without wiping out the roots. an example is the beginning of House music, a new style that has its origins in soul, Disco and funky music of the late 70's. In 2012 he developed a project called mountain Clubbing, of which he takes care of the brand and events. During the winter season he organizes gigs in the most fashionable clubs of the Dolomites, like Club moritzino, of which he became resident DJ in 2012. During the summer of 2014, Mountain Clubbing becomes a national and international trademark, with the aim of bringing the "chic-sound" of the Dolomites around the major clubs and events , reaching some of the most prestigious italian and European locations, in fact in 2015 it landed in the wonderful atmosphere of HulaHula beach Club in Hvar (CrO) and he is continuing also in the summer 2016. ◆
lIFEkISS & HOOVER
lEETO SIa TalEBI He started out playing clubs in his hometown back in 2007 at only 17 (before he was even allowed in). since then he has held residencies in Verbier (switzerland), rhodes (greece), Mallorca (spain) and of course his hometown of gothenburg, sweden. right now he is doing his residency at the recently opened 8IgHT in his hometown. That is of course when he is not touring with the streetwear brand somewear and their concepts. He is known for his rollercoaster DJ-sets where he uses his technical playing style to mash up tracks live and mix genres. It will be hard not to move as you’ll constantly be amazed and surprised! ◆
formerly known as Pascal Dior, is not one of those artists that simply spins a few records: he plays just the right tracks at the right time and in the right place ... ! with his varied picks of punchy deep house, raw driving tech house and grooving techno, he not only rocks the hottest clubs – he also entertains a large public each month with his internet radio show "Serious – groove". His discography also covers the broadest possible ground: some of his tracks are seriously deep; others are rougher or aim to rock the peak-time crowds. Countless EPs, edits and remixes, as well as a number of collaborations, have seen his output picked up by renowned labels such as Toolroom, resopal, sKsupreme, sun:sun or nightlight records and grow into a kaleidoscopic line-up of electronic art. ◆
RESSlESS Hidden under the name ressless are duo Daniel Turk and Viktor superfine, Djs and producers from Zagreb, Croatia. both well established in their homeland and internationally. In 2014 they joined forces and experience and started with music production which resulted in various releases and couple of EP's for different record labels from usa to Italy. House, deep house, tech house and techno are weapons of choice for Ressless in their DJ sets and music production. an important turning point was their visit to Ibiza which expanded their musical and spiritual insights and influenced their production and visions. ◆
german based Djs and producers have completely devoted themselves to entrance the audiences through their musical performances, fuelled by in-depth knowledge and infinite passion for music of every shape. within an era of well-esteemed events, lifekiss & Hoover plotted their musical basement story from dusk till dawn. subsequently, they began playing in clubs in germany's cole mining centre of earlier days, the ruhrgebiet, and landed much wanted residencies like the highly reputable Housemusic institution "art of House" in Cologne, where they have not only found key musical partnerships, but also settled down to a circuit of much respected artists, fusing the analogue sounds of beloved machines with modern possibilities. ◆

DIEgO PagaN formely known as DEEP D. born in Trieste (Italy) in 1969. from his childhood on he has developed his musical taste in many ways. spinning as a Dj in clubs around his area and becoming the next big thing in house music all around the north east thanks to his unforgettable nights called Fish'N'Chic at Diga of Trieste, was his next big step. The passion for travelling changed his musical path. He started looking for warm summer nights gifting the crowds with his unique happy feeling. His deep sound has got a Balearic soul touch to it and because of his quality, he is wanted in many clubs all over Europe. GARNISH Lemon & orange slice or wheel
METHOD Add gin, then half fill the glass with tonic. Now carefully fill the glass with as much ice as will fit into the glass. This is vital to keep the drink as cold as possible and to avoid the ice melting into the drink. Take a fine wheel of lemon, or lemon and orange to complement the citrus botanicals in the gin and give the drink a fresh zing. Gently stir in a little more tonic if required.
