Approved Multi-Plus cavity wall tie for spacings of up to 250 mm BEVER, the specialist for wire and cavity wall ties from Kirchhundem in the Sauerland region of Germany, now present a further development of their innovative Multi-Plus cavity tie of flat stainless steel. As is already the case with the wire tie types Well-L, PB-10, ZV-Welle and PU-Welle, the spacing of the two leafs in the national approval has been increased to 250 mm. The tie, designed for use in thin layer bed joints of cavity masonry, can now also comply with requirements for thicker insulation. The development of the cavity tie for greater leaf spacing is the logical consequence of the increasingly stringent requirements for thermal insulation and a reaction to enquiries from the market. With the issue of a national approval for the Multi-Plus cavity tie up to a leaf spacing of 250 mm, BEVER ensure design safety for building companies, specialist dealers, architects and structural engineers. Pleasant side-effects are the cost saving due to the omission of expensive new calculations and time-wasting special-case approval procedures. The Multi-Plus cavity tie is simple and safe to use. The tie is universally suitable for use with most combinations of blocks and mortar and sits securely and fixed in the mortar due to punched holes at the end, can be bent by hand without great effort and thus minimises the risk of injury. Zugelassene Multi-Plus-Luftschichtanker bis 250 mm Schalenabstand BEVER, der Spezialist für Draht- und Luftschichtanker aus dem sauerländischen Kirchhundem, stellt eine Weiterentwicklung seiner innovativen Multi-Plus-Luftschichtanker aus Edelstahlblech vor. Wie bereits bei den Drahtankern der Typen Well-L, PB-10, ZV-Welle und PU-Welle wurde der bauaufsichtlich zugelassene Schalenabstand auf 250 mm erhöht. Die für den Einsatz in Dünnbettfugen bei zweischaligem Mauerwerk konzipierten Anker werden nun ebenfalls den Anforderungen an erhöhte Dämmstoffdicken gerecht.

Die Weiterentwicklung der Luftschichtanker hin zu größeren Schalenabständen ist die logische Konsequenz aus den steigenden Anforderungen an die Wärmedämmung und Reaktion auf Anfragen aus dem Markt. Mit der bauaufsichtlichen Zulassung der Multi-Plus-Luftschichtanker bis 250 mm Schalenabstand sorgt BEVER für Planungssicherheit bei Bauunternehmern, Fachhändlern, Architekten und Statikern. Angenehmer Nebeneffekt sind die Kosteneinsparungen durch das Wegfallen aufwendiger Neuberechnungen und zeitraubender Sonderzulassungsverfahren. ResiTHERM® distance mounting system for perforated/hollow bricks With the new ResiTHERM® Apolo MEA is setting new standards when it comes to distance installations of heavy loads in hollow bricks! By using ResiTHERM®, heavy and security-relevant objects such as awnings, canopies, French balconies, satellite dishes etc. can be fixed through thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) in an easy and secure way (Fig. 1). The robust anchoring system ResiTHERM® is made out of glass fibre-reinforced polyamide. Together with the injection system ResiFIX VY by Apolo MEA, it has undergone extensive testing at the Institute for Facade and Fastening Technology (IFBT GmbH) in Leipzig; an expert opinion is available. It is possible to pass through insulation thicknesses of 80 up to 200 mm with almost no heat loss. ResiTHERM® is available in three lengths: 120, 160 and 200 mm (Fig. 2). That way, we can provide you with a ready-to-use product for the main insulation thicknesses. If needed, ResiTHERM® can be cut down by maximum of 40 mm. A M12 internal thread with a length of 80 mm extends into the massive anchor body (Fig. 3). Thus, it is possible to achieve both a thermic separation and a large screw-in depth of the A4 stainless steel threaded stud, which is included to the set, along with a nut and washer.
