* 28 wins is the most wins in EOU history by a men’s basketball team * The Mountaineers are currently ranked No. 8 in the last NAIA Div. 2 coaches’ poll (Feb. 27, 2013). * Eastern is currently ranked No. 2 in Division 2 in total rebound offense and No. 3 in rebounds per game. * Senior, Trent Roos leads the Mountaineers in scoring, averaging 13.47 ppg and is also ranked No. 12 in Div. 2 in free throw percentage. * JD Esters is currently ranked 14th in Division II in Total Assists and assists per game and 16th in total assists. He also leads the CCC in assists. * EOU finished tied for first place in the CCC with 17 wins and 3 losses which markes the first conference championship under head coach, Isaac Williams. * Head Coach, Isaac Williams was selected CCC’s coach of the year. * During the 2012-13 season, the Mountaineers spent five weeks ranked No. 1 i the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll. * EOU’s Michael Crane was selected CCC’s defender of the year. * Anthony Brown, Jason Mumm, and Trent Roos were all named to the 12-person AllCCC team.

WEEK NINETEEN: NAIA NATIONALS, 1ST ROUND ABOUT THE WARRIORS The Midland University Warriors ended their season with an overall record of 19-12 and 12-8 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. After falling short in their GPAC tournament semi-final game against Dordt College, Midland received an at large bid making it the first appearance in the national tournament in over a decade. The Warriors are led by senior James Parrot, a first team all-GPAC selection averaging 19.2 points per game.
