Remembered by many as home to the Dobwalls Adventure Park and the famous Forest Railway, founded in 1970 by the Southern family, at its height, the railway feat red two miles of trac and a fine collection of miniature steam locomotives. The name of the site, Southern Halt, was specificall chosen to re ect and fondl recall the historic use and ownership of the land. Located in east Cornwall between Liskeard and Bodmin, Southern Halt offers easy access to both the north and south coasts.
