Taking a chance on a brand-new venture, a team of two couples came together in 2020 to open local bakery, the butchers bakehouse. Making everything from scratch on the premises, inside you can find fresh crusty bread topped with seeds, the sweetest cakes, pastries and fudge for your inner sweet tooth and the most deliciously tangy pickles and chutneys, a perfect match for your favourite cheese. Make sure to pop in and say hello to the flour dusted and chocolate smudged bakers!
Supporting independent local growers and producers, Leedstown Farm Shop, even over the course of the pandemic, has continued to expand its superb range of local goodies. Stocking brands that include Trink Dairy, Cornhill Eggs, Kernow Choc, Ann’s Pasties, Primrose Herd Pork, Cornish Sea Salt, with a range of products covering everything from local, fresh pesto and locally reared meats, to Cornish cheeses, bread, and even hay and straw for the equestrian market, this is much more than your average farm shop.
