Steve Kirk, Managing Director, says: “The popularity of paddleboarding especially, has given rise to numerous people selling equipment, predominantly online, which is great but getting the right product to suit an individual’s needs and wants requires some experience and advice. I think we are without doubt unique in the sense our
advice is based on years of coaching and using these products ourselves.” When the pandemic arrived, the family team had to make a quick decision, as Lesley Kirk explains: “We have always risen to a challenge and weren’t necessarily seeking such a radical change, but now that the world has tipped us in this direction and given the massive rise in interest in water-based sports, it quickly became clear that this was a major opportunity for us. Our son is also involved in the business, so this is truly a family business based on oldfashioned values!”
