LIVE EXPLORATIONS: GEORGIA’S WATER
What’s fun, free, educational and doesn’t require a permission slip? GPB’s Live Explorations offer students the opportunity to take part in rich and immersive learning experiences without ever leaving the classroom. From the Okefenokee Swamp to Georgia Tech’s Flowers Invention Studio and beyond, we’ve traveled the state bringing unique opportunities to K-12 students and life-long learners alike.
You can register now at gpb.org/water for Live Explorations: Georgia’s Water taking place Thursday, May 6 at 10 a.m. Participants will learn about the water cycle and see how water is sourced and treated for consumption in our homes, businesses, and schools. We’ll also explore ways water can be conserved and how we can protect our natural environment. Interactive features include a live Q&A with water experts and poll questions. This program is aligned to Georgia science standards and targets an audience in 3rd - 8th grades.
