Due to continued growth, we now need an important new team member to help us handle our Guest relations, after-stay feedback, and correspondence.
Cumbria base with some travel Driving licence essential Our story began in 1972 when John and Barbara Dunning, local farmers, set up Tebay Services in partnership with local bakers when the M6 cut through the Lune Gorge. We were the first and, alongside our sister Services in Gloucester, are the only family run service stations on the UK motorway network. As we’ve grown as a business, our family of staff have grown with us. We now employ over 1000 people, from Gloucester Services in South West England, to Cairn Lodge Services in southern Scotland, over 300 miles apart. You’ll be part of the team in the North based at Tebay Services that brings our brand to life in our Farmshops and Kitchens to deliver an outstanding customer experience. We’re not like other motorway service stations and at the heart of our business is our offer. We make a lot of our dishes in our Kitchens and we source food for our Farmshops locally. Each of our businesses connects to its place; its natural environment, its culture, its products, its people and its communities. Your job will help tell this story through product displays in our Farmshops and kitchens, seasonal campaigns, on site installations including the delivery of Christmas and the production of hand written signage.
You’ll be an active listener, who can quickly understand and respond to the needs of the guest; as well as importantly, being a great communicator both verbally and using the written word. You’ll be handling our booking system through various channels (mainly telephone and website) responding to customer feedback, and sorting issues or queries. You’ll be a key part of the team, and have at least 3 years experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry. Ultimately you’ll be happy when our customers are happy! We’ve a great small team based in Windermere and we’re growing fast. The role is permanent part time 21 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday & Friday) and we are paying £10000 per annum.
