Cycle Hire Assistant & Cycle Technician/ Hire Assistant We are looking for energetic, focused and enthusiastic people to join our team and help provide great bike hire experiences to clients from our main base in Windermere, with a second venue in Bowness-onWindermere. You’ll be part of our small but hard-working team, working alongside friendly like minded people, in a predominantly fast paced working environment where there is always something to do. So, whether you are a bike fanatic with great customer service skills, or simply love the idea of helping people get into outdoor activity and have the potential to develop your mechanical skills, there could well be a role for you. The ideal applicant will already have experience of working in a busy environment where maintaining focus on positive customer service is key, experience of working with an activity provider would be beneficial too. You’ll need to be computer literate, possess proficient writing skills, be able to listen well and speak clearly and confidently. You’ll have the ability to work independently, as well as within the team, with good time keeping and organisational skills.

Paddle Sport & Cycle Hire Assistant Salary: £18,500 - 23,338 (meets the requirements of the National Living Wage as of April 2024)

Windermere Canoe, Kayak & SUP (WCK) is a busy Paddle sport Provider located on Windermere. The role is fast paced and requires dynamic, friendly and patient staff to work within a small but committed team. You will be directly responsible to the Boathouse Manager. Team members are responsible for organising and overseeing the delivery of paddle sport and cycling activity from our bases on the shores of Windermere. You will be a team player who enjoys working hard and having fun. Applicants must have experience of positive customer service, the ability to work effectively in a team, experience of working in an activity centre or similar, a passion for sport and physical activity, great listening skills and the ability to speak clearly and confidently.
