Distribution Centre Team Members • You’ll be working in a friendly team, based at our Distribution Centre in Ambleside • Starting rate of pay £12.00 per hour • Profit Share bonus scheme on offer to all employees, plus Company Pension scheme • Flexible hours available, so there’s a choice of full and part time hours to fit your lifestyle and other commitments • Our standard working week is Monday to Friday, with some weekends available in peak season • The roles are varied and encompass our warehousing and web dispatch functions. Tasks include receipt of stock, pick & dispatch of goods to stores and platform partners, pick-packdispatch of web orders and processing of returns. There’s some physical work involved but not lots of heavy lifting All roles are permanent with immediate start dates available.

MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT Full time, 5 days a week to include weekends.

To assist the Maintenance Manager with all the day to day planned & unplanned maintenance activity.

Working within a small core team to enable all our guests to have a safe and comfortable stay.

Must have an all round knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, any additional skills would be an advantage. Must have a flexible attitude and keen work ethic due to the nature of the role, candidates must be prepared to work on their own from time to time.

Part time Finance Manager Up to 24 hrs per week, 2-3 days

We are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to take ownership of all financial activity for the hotel.

This is a standalone finance position which offers excellent variety and autonomy together with a high level of responsibility and trust. You will form part of the senior management team, providing both strategic financial, HR and general business support. Some of your ongoing tasks will include budgeting, forecasting, payroll, cost controls, production of monthly accounts, management of the sales and purchase ledger and ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience at a similar level and in a stand-alone finance role. Experience in a wider general management position and knowledge and experience of HR management would be advantageous, as would experience of Sage 50.

Salary £22,500 subject to experience and hours.

We are seeking motivated energetic individuals that are happy to work flexibly supporting a charming young man with an acquired brain injury, epilepsy and complex and severe needs in his rehabilitation and daily living in a domestic environment based in Burton in Kendal. The young man requires 24/7 care support 7 days a week 365 days a year so the post holder will be expected to work on a rota basis. We aim to offer flexibility so you can gain a good work life balance and we currently offer 24/7 shifts from 10.00 am till 10.30am the next day. You can choose to take one or two of those per week the choice is yours and we pay the same rate for sleepover and day rate. We do expect you to work either a Saturday or Sunday every other weekend.

You will be part of a friendly, supportive professional team who will support you in developing your skills. All staff undertake an induction programme and are supported developmentally through in-house training and regular CPD sessions and an annual appraisal process.

Your role will be to provide a comfortable, rich, and fulfilling home and lifestyle whilst simultaneously supporting the young man in his rehabilitation and empowering him to maximize his potential and skills set. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that all candidates can swim and drive and hold a clean driving licence. We have a heated swimming pool, kitchen garden, Art Studio, and Workshop on site.
