altrettanto importante è sottolineare come – in una traiettoria parallela – un film possa eccedere le intenzioni del regista e possa lasciare segni di questa forma di eccesso che si dà ogni volta che la realtà è chiamata alla sua riproduzione. Questo eccesso è la sua verità. E’ nel suo fuoriuscire e nello strabordare, nei margini fra i corpi e i discorsi che possiamo trovare quella coesione che Maria Antonietta Maiocchi ha potuto vedere nella Cina letta attraverso Yu Kung o con le parole di Foucault quel posto in cui «la vita politica sarebbe la stessa esistenza del popolo16».
