MY WORK
As someone who grew up near Seattle, I have always felt a deep connection to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The rugged coastlines, towering forests, and majestic mountains instilled a deep appreciation for beauty and a profound environmental connection. This awe-inspiring backdrop has been instrumental in shaping my creativity. Nature fuels my imagination, influencing my creative endeavors and inspiring me to capture its essence in my work. The Pacific Northwest's raw and untamed beauty continues to inspire me, driving my passion and shaping my artistic vision. During my time in interior design school, I had the opportunity to explore new cultures- from teaming up with an architectural team from Costa Rica to spending a semester abroad in Italy.
Design impacts everything, and everything impacts design. When you take the time to understand the aesthetic and functional intentions behind what you see in your everyday life, you are more mindful of how your work as a designer impacts people at the individual and societal levels. As a designer, I hope to use my knowledge to make the world a more functional, sustainable, accessible, and beautiful place.
This portfolio is a composition of my favorite and most meaningful projects as a design student. Each project has its own unique story and visual identity with its own conceptual approach and development. I hope that this portfolio shows you my love and passion for design.

EBB + FLOW
Studio: Sophomore Spring, Higher Ed Studio
Market Sector: Higher Education
Location: Seattle, Washington
Scope: Fixture Prototyping, Interior Architecture, Space Planning, FF+E Specification
The aesthetic concept behind Ebb & Flow is rooted in the opposing dynamic between the natural and the built environments of the Pacific Northwest. The sweeping form of the second story and the waves in the wooden ceiling beams are nodes to the ebbs and flows of the Puget Sound tide. Inspiration from the Seattle skyline can be found in the hierarchy and rectilinearity of the elevator shaft, the staircase, and the booth seating Seattle is infamous for both its breathtaking natural scenery and its expansive skyline, and the struggle for a hierarchy between natural and man-made opens up a deeper insight into the culture of the Pacific Northwest

The “Shift” represents the subtle yet ever-evolving changes around us. As Everett grows, how can designers enhance the city’s civic identity?
Our project seeks to communicate this concept through the use of mezzolevels, geometric forms, and nodes to the past, present, and future of Pacific Northwest design.
The use of mezzo-levels fosters a more organic and dynamic harmony between the commercial levels of The Shift.
The existing main levels, as well as the residential levels above, are connected through the existing elevator. The mezzo levels will be connected through staircases and intermediary elevators to allow for accessibility.
The Ground Level through Level Three are commercial spaces, while Level Four and Level Five are Multi-Family Residential Units

WHEN IN FLORENCE
I had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy, in the Fall of 2023. While I was there, I immersed myself in the local culture and took every opportunity I could to explore Florence, Tuscany, and Northern Italy
My studio consisted of exploring the history of Florence’s rich built environment, sketching the city’s ornate details, and visiting famous wineries around Tuscany to learn more about hospitality design.

Day-In-The-Life in Florence
I was incredibly inspired by Florence’s human-centered design and walkability The city’s urban design, with its harmonious blend of Renaissance architecture and timeless elegance, fascinates me as an interior designer. The city's intricate layouts, historic palazzos, and intimate piazzas inspire innovative spatial concepts and aesthetic balance, enriching my approach to creating captivating interior spaces.
