Insulation supplier with a new warehouse

After 22 years of success, BAE Wire & Insulation, Inc., of Bradenton, Fla., is announcing the opening of its second warehouse, in Swisher, Iowa. BAE stocks what it considers to be the highest quality materials from top manufacturers in the industry. The company’s focus is customer satisfaction; orders are expertly reviewed, double-checked for accuracy, packaged correctly, and shipped on time “every time,” the company says. BAE is exhibiting at the EASA convention in order to add new customers to its growing list of “satisfied end users.” Says the company, “We promise service, and we deliver!”

Publisher presents an updated price guide

Our friends at price-guide publisher Vaughen’s tell us they’re looking forward to seeing everyone in St. Louis. Late last year the company went live with its new website. Visitors are invited to stop by to let them know what they think of the improvements made to Vaughens.com. During 2022, the company will be releasing additional improvements to the website. Those who don’t already have a Vaughens.com subscription can learn of all the pricing tools available on the site. Also on display will be the new 2022 Price Guide Book. Both the book and the online subscription come with 30-day risk-free trials. Don Lammers (pictured in the photo above), owner and publisher, and Jason Lammers, project manager, will be on hand to take orders and answer questions. “Hope to see you in St. Louis,” the company exclaims, “and remember to use Vaughen’s to ‘Put More Profit in Your Price’!”

Repair and replacement of specialty machines

Dreisilker Electric Motors, Inc., of Glen Ellyn, Ill., is exhibiting once again because the company wants to remind everyone that it has the special parts for variable-speed commutator motors and other special brands that the company represents (German and other European brands). These motors are commonly used in the printing, converting, and plastics industries. The special parts include (but are not limited to) Binder brakes, brush holders, cable sets, control assemblies, slip rings, and pilot motors. Dreisilker will also be showcasing shaft current mitigation for bearings through CoolBlue induction absorber rings.

Automated lubrication for industrial plants

Schaeffler Technologies, the German bearing manufacturer with U.S. operations headquartered in Fort Mill, S.C., will be highlighting its CONCEPT1 single-point automatic lubricator, which is designed to simplify complex lubrication management in industrial plants. The system provides maintenance personnel with information on all connected lubricators, according to Schaeffler; targeted maintenance of relubrication systems, meanwhile, “eliminates the need for periodic, route-based checks.” The system employs the OPTIME app, a web-based dashboard, or a software tool of the user’s own to give the user an overview of all lubricators that have critical fill levels or lubricant supply problems. Also indicated are all lubricators that are running at elevated temperatures.

Making commutators better every day

ICC International of Maryville, Tenn., tells us it grows by dedicating resources to improvements in materials, process, and design that complement and support the refinements being made in motor repair and design. “It means identifying segments of growth in both large and small motors, across many industries,” the company says. “Our customers are making d-c better every day by improving rotors, stators, windings and all else.” The company considers its job is to do the same for the commutators. “People first is a culture, and people dedicated to a shared vision of industry leadership make better products,” the company adds. “Welcome to ICC.”
