The Jefferson Nexus Center:
A six-story, 31,500-square-foot mixed-use office building with a double skin box window facade. The exterior and interior are inseparably linked, with strong vertical and horizontal movements on the facade mirrored inside. With a 10,500-square-foot gallery, followed by three stories of offices, and an upper floor 5,200-square-foot restaurant, the Center is a co-working space that offerers numerous opportunities to collaborate and innovate.
The Nexus Center serves as an example of “best practices” in sustainable and human-centered design. Our interdisciplinary design team responded to the programmatic needs of the client and produced an environmentally responsible design, with WELL Building standards and a LEED Platinum score of 83 and a EUI of 21.
