ANNOUNCES LIVE & LOCAL EVENT

O

n Sunday, November 12, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale (BGCS) will hold its Live & Local event, transforming the District at Desert Ridge in Phoenix to a red-carpet dining and entertainment event destination. Celebrating the best of the Arizona dining, cocktail and live music scene, Live & Local’s entertainment and culinary lineup includes local restaurant and beverages partners, celebrity mixologists, performers and more. The Live & Local event is presented by GoDaddy.

Hosted by the BGCS Associate Board and in partnership with the Arizona Restaurant Association, the event features acclaimed restaurants offering tasty bites — such as Tryst, The Thumb, Chef Wade’s Bistro on Wheels, and The Dhaba — and performances by local entertainment on the Main Stage near Dave & Busters from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $65 each and include access to on-stage entertainment, beer garden and wine tastings, and samplings from 20 local restaurants. VIP tickets are $150 each, and include mixologists serving up drinks from a full cocktail bar, upgraded wine selections, 10 additional restaurants catering exclusively to VIP guests, and an after party from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. “It’s an honor to bring recognition to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale, an organization we’ve passionately supported for many years,” said Stacy Bennett, GoDaddy Corporate Responsibility Lead. “Beyond supporting a worthy cause, we’re looking forward to getting the community together to enjoy local food, libations and entertainment.” “We are grateful for the partners and sponsors who come together, work hard and put on such an amazing event to help us continue to serve children and teens in need throughout Greater Scottsdale,” said Dr. Lisa Hurst, BGCS CEO. Tickets can be purchased and additional information found at www.bgcs.org/liveandlocal.

ABOUT BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF GREATER SCOTTSDALE Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale (BGCS) serves thousands of youth at nine Clubs located within the communities of Scottsdale, North Phoenix, Fountain Hills, Mesa, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and the Hualapai Nation. Research shows that the more time youth spend at a Boys & Girls Club, the more likely they are to feel more connected to school and have greater postsecondary aspirations. The door to our kids’ futures is often crowded by temptation and misdirection making it difficult for them to reach their full potential. Inside our doors, youth development professionals and mentors provide guidance, support and encouragement in an enriching and safe environment. Our outcomebased programming assures that success is in reach for all kids and teens who enter our doors, no matter their circumstances.
