Chameleon
By
Delaney B.
I am a chameleon.
Come and you’ll see how I can change color when you hold me.
Red, green, and blue
Orange and purple, too
Brown to yellow
To a pink little fellow
I am a chameleon and love to be free like a colorful crayon you see.

A walk in the Garden
by
Caroline B.
As the flowers grow, You can smell the sweetness of the pulp. You can hear the bumble bees buzz as if they are singing a song.
You can touch the clouds that look like soft, fluffy pillows. You can taste the sweetness of the air as you walk leaving a trail behind. You can see the beautiful colors of the field of flowers.
6
Tiger By Aaron C.
My favorite animal is the tiger.
The best fighter
He stalks his prey
And in his den, he lays.
7
Cobra by Emmitt D.
The snake that rules the North Is the King Cobra.
Its venom is incredible.

My Day with Peter Pan
By Parker D.
My day with Peter Pan
Did not turn me into a fan.
The moment he appeared
He seemed a bit weird.
He took me by the hand
And told me he's taking me to Neverland.
I fought him and said "No!"
Wanting him to go.
He finally left when my meltdown was done, But he took all my fun.
My day with Peter Pan
Did not turn me into a fan.

Brinleigh by Brinleigh E.
Because I love their fries, Ronald McDonald is my guy.
If something challenging happens,
Never will I give up.
Losing is never my thing,
Except if it is a good day.
Indoors will I always be
Girlie, socializing is never a go to for me
Hello! It is the end of this poem.

Turtles by Mackenzie F.
Turtles are green. They aren't very mean.
Turtles are slow.
They don’t wear bows. They live in the Pacific. But we don’t have to be specific. Turtles eat jellyfish. It’s truly their favorite dish.
12
Filet by Anthony F.
Anthony F. is my name.
Filet is the best meat, And the rest is lame.
If you give me something else, I’ll break the beat!
But make it medium rare
Tell your chef that, I dare you!
My name’s Anthony F.
And this place I can’t bear.

Butterfly by Evelyn F.
It was as quiet as a mouse.
Not even a noise,
As the trees grew,
The wind blew.
As the water flowed,
A butterfly
Came flying alone
That angered a fox
Hiding deep in the woods.
The butterfly left. And peace was kept.

A sly mouser leapt from the hayloft,
She narrowed her eyes with a scoff.
The critters ran her towards their burrows, She gave her mitts a furrow.
She crouched down, pupils trapped on the burrow.
She couldn’t bear the sorrow of having no prey.
The soft grinding of nails was heard
Before a stout rodent was climbing out.
She gave a prowl towards it,
A growl bubbled in her throat.
It felt like a lifetime before she pounced.
The mouse gave a start before it was trounced,
Claws ripped the flesh of it,
A maw bent down lifting it up
Which was speared by a cherry splash.
The painted feline gave a lash of her tail at her success.
The critters cried in fear
As the cat would have them shake for the rest of the year.

dogs by Mary G. Dogs
Digging up dirt outside on the grass, A man’s best friend,
Every day they’ll miss you.
Everyday they’ll greet you by the door. But someday, this will all end.
In the meantime, dogs will love you whenever they can. Dogs come in many shapes and sizes, brown, white and excessively more. Dogs

Easter Day
by Abigail G.
Today is Easter Day, and all my sins have flown away.
God is here.
Have no fear for He is here to stay.
Praise the Lord who has kept you safe,
Who has loved you within his warm embrace.
Jesus died just for your sins, so, embrace the good within.

Pumpkin Pie by
Mia J.
Let’s make a sweet treat.
Something very good to eat, Measure, count, mix, and pour Into the oven shut the door, Wait and wait, smells so sweet
When will it be time to eat?
The timer rings, the baking’s done. Making pie was so much fun!
Cut a slice, and then cut two pumpkin pies for me and you.

Baseball Poem
by Maddox L.
I see freshly cut grass.
I hear fans clap a crash.
I taste dirt on my lips as I slide.
I have a winning feeling of pride.
There are goosebumps on my skin.
I feel confident that we will win.

As the sun slowly began to set, there was a small jet flying high above the gloomy clouds during the spring. Above the breezing wind and calming nature that made the forest a fling and wonderful place for its creatures, The wind pushed against the jet making it higher than the greatest mountains and earth’s tallest features. It remained flying and soaring throughout that evening.
The birds began singing a beautiful tune that was uplifting, and soon enough the sun was fully set, and the small jet began to settle down. It was spring after all and the jet had no time to lose at all.

Nature
by Elin M.
Among the trees, as far as I can see, A crane sings far along the lake.
Stake your spot and stay a while
Because watching nature makes you smile.
Walking across a secret path
You see a frog in nature’s bath.

Nature’s Beauty
by
Tom N.
Wide open fields
flowers blooming
trees growing rivers flowing the crisp sunny breeze
Fish splashing
frog eggs hatching
crane flapping their wings
Mist slowly moving mountain goats screaming and echoing through the valleys below
Spiders crawling bats resting moist water dripping down from above
Beautiful and lovely it truly is this is Nature.

Come Little Leaves
by Cooper P.
Come little leaves
Said the wind one day, Come over the meadows
With me and play. Put on your dresses
Of red and gold. Summer is gone, And the days grow cold.
Soon as the leaves
Heard the wind’s loud call. Down they came fluttering One and all.

In The Meadow
by
Kimber P.
I sit in the meadow listening to the stream.
I look around at the grass so green.
I smell the tiger lilies and their scent is so sweet.
I see heathers so elegant none can beat.
I see the Queen Anne’s lace so very fair, And the orange-fringed orchid that is quite rare.
Don’t forget the irises which are so divine, And I see so many vines which are all in lines.
I see the mountain tall and proud,
They are almost touching the clouds.
They are faded with fog which reminds me of a bog.
I sit under the trees that are old and wise.
They know the difference between the truth and lies.
Under the trees the sun peeks in, Touching my skin so warm and golden. I look into the golden sky where all the birds fly right by. Soon I look up as night settles on the sky.
That’s all now, goodbye.

Summer Sand
By Kinsley R.
Swimming in the sea
Under the hot sun
Making memories
Meeting friends
Eager to get out of school
Running on the hot sand
