Learning by doing: Geography and Green Habits • This project aims to an intercultural exchange between pupils from seven european Schools (Greeks, French, Italian and Turkish) • Pupils and teachers choose to research on local eco-friendly development actions to share on their local suroundings.

A big part of our economy relies on tourism : The Gorges of Ardeche is the main touristic site for nature activities. People practice here: kayaking, swimming, hiking‌. This beautiful site is located right beside the brandly new discovered Chauvet cave. Discovered on December 18th 1994, it is considered as one of the most significant prehistoric art sites.

THE TOWER OF PISA When naming Pisa you immediately think of the famous Leaning Tower, a monument that has grown in importance over the centuries because of its accentuated slope, which, at the same time, worried many experts and attracted the curiosity of many tourists; for this reason the Tower, has been renamed the Leaning Tower. The Tower of Pisa seems to lean far from the third floor on. That is because it was built on a sandy and clay soil.

THE CATHEDRAL OF PISA

The Cathedral of Pisa is a magnificent cathedral that is located within a square that takes its name from this beautiful monument: the Piazza del Duomo.

Piazza del Duomo in Pisa, also known as Piazza dei Miracoli, is located in the center of the city, between the historic city walls. It 's a wide area of alternating green lawn, manicured and extraordinary monuments such as the cathedral itself, the Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, the Campo Santo and museums of Sinopie and Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.

THE BAPTISTERY OF PISA

The construction of the baptistery of Pisa began around 1152 under the guidance of Diotisalvi. By the end of the twelfth century came the completion of the first order of the building, both inside and outside. In 1260 Nicola Pisano oversaw the work and he was responsible for the design of the coating Gothic loggia, with the cooperation of his son Giovanni. Between 1358 and 1394 the dome was completed under the guidance of Cellino di Nese.

THE ACROPOLIS OF ATHENS

The Acropolis of Athens is an ancient citadel located on a high rocky outcrop above the city of Athens and containing the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance, the most famous being the Parthenon.The word acropolis comes from the Greek words ἄκρον and πόλις. Although there are many other acropoleis in Greece, the significance of the Acropolis of Athens is such that it is commonly known as "The Acropolis" without qualification.

THE MUSEUM OF ACROPOLIS The Acropolis Museum is an archaeological museum focused on the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. The museum was built to house every artifact found on the rock and on its feet, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. It also lies on the archaeological site of Makrygianni and the ruins of a part of Roman and early Byzantine Athens.

THE CLIMATE OF PISA • The climate of Pisa is influenced by the proximity of the sea, which makes it less cold in winter and less hot in summer.

• In winter the average temperature is between 12°C and 3°C. • In summer the temperature during the day is about 30°C. In some years, however, the temperature has exceeded 40°C. • Snowfall is a rare phenomenon. Precipitation, • usually nocturnal, have low intensity.

• Greece has the Mediterranean climate. That climate characterized from dry summers and calm winters. There aren’t many rainfalls in Greece so it’s usually sunny.
