зима
meaning winter Hungarian ’zimankó’ is (folksy or literary) cold, bitter winter weather with drifting snow or sleet

These pieces manifest the attempt to discover structures within the boundaries of material, perceptual or spatial limitations.

a failure to observe standards or show due honesty or modesty; improper language, behavior, or character. „she was scandalized at the inappropriateness of the question”

I gain inspiration mostly from mistakes, imperfections. From accepting the discomfort of disorder - probably my biggest obstacle to overcome.
Having the practice leading the process means obtaining the behaviour of elements playing a role in the creation - and letting them be.

Born in Debrecen, Hungary I later moved to Budapest for studying architecture.
Besides my studies I continuously experimented with several territories of art, including photography and pottery.
Currently, I live in Berlin and these fields often blend in my works.

Wandering the streets one can bump into big piles of things, many pieces of one type of an object or material.
What is the similarity that defines each piece when they are - if you dig into it - different in details? We have unconsciously accepted definitions that mark objects. 3C is like a roll of toilet paper
One can find lots of things on the streets of Berlin, even inspiration. lots of things .
VIELE SACHEN
800G

This is a limited series of work inspired by my first impressions in Berlin.
I used 800g of clay for throwing each piece and I was curious to see what different forms it could take depending on the diameter and top finishing of the pieces. The names refer to these characteristics.

The current ongoing eruption cycle of Kīlauea began on Jan. 3, 1983.
The 1950s boom of development in Hawaii resulted in the subdivision of a 1800-acre land called „Royal Gardens” - a piece of paradise slowly becoming abandoned as it was built on a steep slope downhill from the volcano.
- was hard to name
But learned that thousands of pounds of rocks stolen from Hawaii are returned by mail to the island each year because former tourists fear their fortunes have been reversed by a wrathful goddess, Pele.

not my first attempt to handbuilding but the first time that I wasn’t going for a smooth result
I wanted to accept a form and surface as it comes with the attribute of this technique - it shows the trace of the making

So let me get this straight again, I’m not making mugs, I’m doing bögre
In Hungarian the word ‚bögre’ means mug

The challenge for me with making a mug was the handle. I just don’t really like the concept, at least it’s rare that I like how they look like and a lot of times I don’t find them matching the cup part.
So I wanted to make a mug with a focus on integrating the handle deeper in the design.

“In Tetris, players complete lines by moving differently shaped pieces (tetrominoes), which descend onto the playing field. The completed lines disappear and grant the player points, and the player can proceed to fill the vacated spaces.”

“what is it what is it what is it up there?
I don’t know what is it de érdekel.”
let’s have a closer look at this mess.. it isn’t so messy after all. - somebody’s playin’ tetris down there !
The ‘tetris’ collection is a series of somewhat identical little objects in different shapes under various colours.

Some of them started off as part of the ‘800G’ family but had an accident - so became a little wicked.
I’m amazed by the mistakes in this field from the beginning. Couldn’t help it but keep, might do more in the future.

In sewing and fashion design, a pattern is the template from which the parts of a garment are traced onto woven or knitted fabrics before being cut out and assembled. The flat-pattern method is where the entire pattern is drafted on a flat surface from measurements.

Coloring ceramics can be made by using glazes or engobes usually, the two differs in materials and thus in the time of applying in the procedure.
Instead of using regular paintings, I tried to understand colors as a difference in material.
