Bake Sale Charity

Our school held a fund-raiser bake sale where all the proceeds went to the relief of the Palestinian families. Students across different year levels displayed their baked goods and sold them. This event was a huge success as it promoted entrepreneurship among students and also fostered a sense of community and collaboration.

Spelling Bee

The spelling bee competition this year was on two rounds. The first round was on the school level where ISEE students competed with each other. The participants showcased their impressive vocabulary and spelling skills. The judges were impressed by the contestants' ability to tackle challenging words with ease. The final round was a competition between the finalists from both schools, ISEE and BSEE. Indulging in an intense competition, participants put on their best performance. They displayed impressive knowledge, spelling skills and accuracy as they confidently spelled their words on stage.

Congratulations to all the winners and well done to all the participants.

Business Day

Our Upper Elementary and Middle school students enjoyed a great experience during the Elite Business Day. Students had the chance to apply and integrate the knowledge they acquired in (Social Studies - EnglishMath) to create a successful Business Model Project. Students amazed us with their innovative business projects and demonstrated entrepreneurial skills evident through identifying their target market, marketing strategies and pricing. In addition to that, all the proceeds collected from this event were donated to the Dar Al Orman Organization to aid those in need to start their small business. We are extremely proud of our young entrepreneurs and looking forward to seeing their future projects.

Cooking Competition

Our little chefs rolled their sleeves, put on their chef's hats, and prepared their working stations for the ISEE Cooking Competition. The competitors eagerly gathered their ingredients and utensils, ready to showcase their culinary skills. Each chef took turn to present the dish to judges, explaining the main ingredients of the dish and its nutritional values. The judges were amazed by their delicious unique plates and attention to details.

Model United Nations

Model United Nations was a gateway for our high school students to develop a deeper understanding of international relations. They had the chance to choose a country and represent it. They engaged in diplomatic debate and negotiated resolutions as they embraced the role of the diplomatic delegates from that country. What a valuable experience to practice effective communication and sharpen their debating skills!

Career Day

Our students welcomed parents from different professions for the career day. Each parent gave a brief presentation about their workplace, job, and the education and skills required for success in their career. That day inspired our young learners to discover their interests and passion from a young age. A huge thanks to all our parents for devoting their time and efforts to put a smile on our young learners’ faces.

Science Fair

The science fair was a great opportunity to encourage our students to develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper understanding of the scientific method. Additionally, this competition allowed our students to showcase their creativity and innovation in a competitive setting. Our students competed to create the most innovative science projects. The projects were diverse and reflected our students' different interests and talents. We are extremely proud of our future scientists.

Health and Wellness Campaign

Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle

February at ISEE was all about health and wellness! Our students enjoyed a great informative week learning about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, eating healthy balanced meals and the importance of physical activity. Students engaged in different interactive activities and fitness challenges that encouraged them to stay active and energetic.

Awareness Dental Health

The school organised a fun informative session about dental health awareness. Our students learned a lot of information about how to keep their pearly teeth healthy and shiny. Students engaged in different interactive activities and fitness challenges that encouraged them to make healthy life choices when it comes to food and snacks. A huge thanks to Dr. Aya Alaraby for her visit.

Health & Wellness Campaign

Closure Ceremony

The health and wellness campaign couldn't have been complete without the remarkable closure event. The event included a number of students’ presentations and an amazing skit on the positive and negative effects of social media, followed by cheerful performances on the stage. Students were reminded of the goals of the health and wellness campaign and encouraged to prioritize their physical and mental well-being.

Our Talented Artists

Our talented artists participated in the Annual Hayat Art Exhibition, "Exploring Preservation and Innovation: A Reflection of the Future Through the Eyes of Students". Competing against more than 60 schools, their creativity and dedication have shone through in their exceptional artworks. The awards ceremony was held at the prestigious Grand Egyptian Museum, where our artists Habiba Mohamed (Grade 1) won 2nd place and Laila Ahmed Heredy (Grade 3) won 3rd place. Congratulations to our winners and looking forward to seeing more of your artistic and outstanding achievements.

Irish Egyptian Art Gallery

“Beit al Sinnari”

It was a great pleasure for our students to visit the "Timelines Art Exhibition" in collaboration with the Embassy of Ireland in Cairo at Beit al Sinnari. Students were amazed by the profound portraits and artistic installations of the Irish artist Fion Gunn and the Egyptian artist Lina Osama.

Reading Month Activities

Book Club

Year 3 and year 4 students enjoyed the activities of the Book Club this term. Each round they welcomed parents to read, reflect and discuss the books assigned. The students were able to explore new genres and authors through the discussions led by the teachers and parents. A huge thanks to the parents who volunteered to enrich the students’ learning experiences.

Favourite Book Character Dress Up-Day

This year, our young learners took us on a magical journey through their favourite books. Dressed up as their favourite characters, students shared their passion for reading and why they chose their books. Their enthusiasm brought the stories to life, inspiring their classmates to explore new books.

Mystery Reader

Our students have been welcoming parents for the Mystery Reader program with huge smiles on their faces. It has been a great opportunity for children and parents to engage in a fun reading activity. A huge thank you to all the wonderful parents who participated in this program. Your visit truly made a difference in our students' learning experience.

Book Buddies

Reading is so much more interesting with your book buddy! Students were split into small groups, where the older students took on the responsibility of reading for their younger peers. This experience made reading more interesting and engaging, as students shared thoughts, dove deeper into the character analysis and improved their reading skills.

Family Fun Day

Looking back on our exceptional Family Fun Day! The day was filled with fun games and activities. From team bonding games, and scavenger hunts to football tournaments; everyone enjoyed the day to the fullest. Organised by WellSpring Egypt, our families had a great chance to create lasting memories.

Competition Business Start-up

The International School of Elite Education congratulates our students for their outstanding achievements during the MES Cairo Business Startup Competition 2024 as they won first place for the project (ConcraHome) and third place for the project (Greencrafts). Our business studies were four teams (Nutribin, ConcraHome, Orbot and Greencrafts). Each group of our young entrepreneurs presented their creative projects to the panel of judges, highlighting the main features and the concept behind each project. The judges were astonished by the creativity and innovation of our students, who demonstrated a deep understanding of market needs, innovative concepts and effective marketing strategies. Our school’s academic leadership team presented all the participants with certificates of excellence to acknowledge their distinguished performance. Our dearest students, we are truly proud of your accomplishments. Keep up the great work and never stop pursuing your passions!

Community Service Project

Our students are passionate about participating in different community service projects all year round. IGCSE students had an enlightening visit to the Egyptian Red Crescent headquarters in Cairo. Having a closer look on the organization's history, their invaluable role during international conflicts and prompt response during natural disasters.

Dogs Shelter Visit Community Service Project

This term a group of our students paid a visit to Talya’s Foundation to Save a Soul. This visit was an eye-opening experience for students to learn about the importance of being merciful towards animals. They had the opportunity to interact with rescued animals and understand the impact of their actions on the well-being of these creatures. This experience helped them develop a greater sense of empathy and compassion towards all living beings.

Lower Elementary Science Fair

The little scientists in Lower Elementary put on their lab coats and presented their science projects with confidence. The projects ranged from erupting volcanoes to homemade solar systems, showcasing their creativity and knowledge of the scientific method. The students eagerly explained their experiments and findings to their classmates and teachers, sparking curiosity and excitement for future scientific endeavours.

Interview with French Expats in Egypt

In order to put their oral skills into practice, our Pre-DP students interviewed Ms. Hélène Zwick, professor of economics at the University of ESLSCA and Ms. Magalie Russo, a French expatriate living in Cairo. During these remarkable interviews, our students led successful conversations in French and addressed several interesting questions about the life of foreigners in Egypt.

The 100th Day of School

Celebrating the 100th Day of School in style!

Our students dressed up as 100-year-old grandpas and grandmas while enjoying fun lessons, songs and activities. The day was filled with laughter and memories as students participated in various 100-themed games and challenges. It was a great way to mark this special milestone in our school year.

American School Honors Assembly

Our American School held Term 2 Honors assembly to acknowledge the achievements of our students throughout the term. Students scoring 93% and above were recognised as Highest Honors students while students scoring 90%-92% were recognised as High Honors students, and grade 4 and 5 students were also recognised for their outstanding achievements. The school also celebrated the Science Fair winners and the contestants of the spelling bee competition. Congratulations everyone for the amazing achievement. We are all so proud of you!

La Participation du ISEE aux Olymiades de la Francophonie

The Olymiades de la francophonie was a great day, incorporating the passion for learning the French language with fun activities and friendly competition. The Day was organized by the French Institute and the Odyssey Group, and held in the British International College of Cairo.

Representing the French department at our school, a group of year 8-students participated in the competition against international schools in Cairo showcasing their advanced linguistic skills.

Celebrating the Holy Month of Ramadan

Our school, students, and teachers got together to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. Starting with the magical decorations that filled our campus to the community service projects our students participated in. To spread the spirit of giving, our students donated and packaged Ramadan bags to be distributed on families in need. The spirit of unity and giving back was truly evident during this special time. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and appreciate the values of compassion and empathy.

Visiting the Egyptian Food Bank Community Service Project

Our students visited the Egyptian Food Bank to help with packaging Ramadan bags to be distributed to the less fortunate families. They were able to experience firsthand the impact of their volunteer work and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of giving back to the community. The students left feeling grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

EEG Annual Ramadan Iftar

Elite Education Group Annual Ramadan Iftar was a great opportunity for our staff to come together to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. Surrounded by magical Arabian night decorations, enchanting music and delicious traditional dishes, everyone enjoyed the night as one family. It was a truly memorable event that brought our team closer together and fostered a sense of unity and community within our organization.

Projects Global Perspectives

Our Year 8 students had the opportunity to work on major Global Perspectives Projects for this term to tackle some of the most important sustainable development goals of the United Nations such as Zero Hunger, Quality Education, and Gender Equality. A group of students volunteered with one of the NGO’s kitchens in Cairo to help prepare and package meals to be distributed to the less fortunate during Ramadan.

On the other hand, a group of students paid a visit to the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357. They spent time with the children, played games, and brought gifts to lift their spirits. The school also organised a Zoom Meeting with the Director of Global Schools, Amanda Abrom. Ms. Abrom gave our students a general introduction about the UN Sustainable Development Goals within school communities. And finally, students participated in a fun-raiser sale to raise donations for the less fortunate in our community.

To proceed with their comprehensive project, year 8 students had the chance to visit the UN Habitat Egypt office. Students learned more about the foundational principles of the United Nations and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), critical global issues like poverty alleviation, infrastructure development, decent work, and climate action. Moreover, students visited the UNICEF Egypt office and attended an insightful presentation by Mr. Shiraz Chakera, Chief of Education at UNICEF Egypt. Students engaged in a remarkable conversation with Mr. Shiraz which highlighted the vital role the UNICEF plays towards achieving the goals of Quality Education, Reducing Inequality, and Gender Equality. Celebrating the graduating class of 2024!

As they are preparing to embark on their new academic adventures at universities, our seniors celebrated the beginning of their last year as school students with the Seniors' March. The graduating class proudly toured the campus as the rest of their peers cheered for them. The day was a heartwarming event filled with pride, nostalgia, and anticipation for the bright futures ahead.

ISEE Sports Day

Our ISEE sports day was a wonderful opportunity for students to bond over fun games and competitions, putting on their best performances. They cheered each other on and displayed great sportsmanship throughout the day. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and energy as our students enjoyed their sports day.

Our students indulged in the Swedish culture to the fullest! A huge thanks to the Embassy of Sweden in Cairo for welcoming a group of ISEE students. They learned quite a lot about the Swedish culture, traditional food, national customs, and traditions. It was truly a valuable experience.

ISEE Visit to The Embassy of Japan

Exploring the mysteries of Japanese culture! Our students visited the Embassy of Japan in Egypt, learning about the historical traditions of Japan and futuristic technologies. They tried the traditional Japanese kimonos and even learned to write their names in Japanese characters. The experience deepened their appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of Japan.

ISEE Visit to the Brazilian Ambassador's Residence!

A group of our students were honoured to visit the residence of the Ambassador of Brazil to Egypt. Minister Counsellor Mr. Eduardo Henrique engaged with the students in insightful discussions about the history, culture, and traditions of Brazil. ISEE Visit to the Russian Cultural Center

Our students were given a warm welcome as they toured the Russian Cultural Center in Cairo. They had the opportunity to learn about Russian history, art, and traditions through interactive exhibits and presentations. Moreover, students enjoyed a beginner Russian language class to learn simple sentences. The experience left a lasting impression on them, sparking an interest in exploring more about Russian culture.

ISEE Students Welcomed Mr. Eduardo Salomon, the Mexican Cultural Attaché in Egypt to our school. Mr. Eduardo captivated our students with a vibrant presentation on Mexico, delving into its rich history, diverse culture, and stunning landscapes. Students had the chance to ask insightful questions, fostering a lively discussion that sparked their interest in all things Mexican. He also shared his expertise on creating delicious Mexican food, traditional games, and beautiful art and crafts. Our students were eager to learn these skills, and the atmosphere buzzed with excitement and a newfound appreciation for Mexican culture.

Our students paid a visit to the Indian Cultural Centre in Egypt to dive deep into the magical history of India. They were introduced to the vibrant culture through various activities and interactions with Indian expats, learning about the traditions, customs, languages, and religions. The experience left them with a newfound appreciation for the heritage of India.

Our school extends its warmest thanks to the Embassy of the Republic of South Korea in Egypt for welcoming our students. This visit offered our students a valuable opportunity to learn about Korean language, traditions, and history.

ISEE Visit to the Embassy of Argentina

In celebration of ISEE International Day, grade 8 students embarked on a cultural adventure! The students visited the Embassy of Argentina, where they were warmly welcomed by Mr. Cero Romeni, the Cultural Attaché. Mr. Romeni provided a very interesting presentation about Argentina, delving into its rich history, vibrant traditions, and stunning landscapes. This was followed by an insightful discussion, which offered our students a deeper understanding of the fascinating South American nation.
