CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
At BSEE, the student-centric curriculum is designed to encourage students to develop a depth of learning and understanding. Our young learners in EYFS are offered the National Curriculum of England, where education takes place in a welcoming, stimulating and safe environment. Students are empowered with knowledge and skills essential for their holistic development.
Starting year 1, students pursue Cambridge international curriculum which sets the standard for globally recognised education.
In Key stage 4, students are offered the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) which is recognised by universities worldwide.
It is essential that our students maintain a profound sense of Egyptian identity. Therefore, Arabic, Social studies and religion are integrated into the curriculum.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING APPROACH

SMSC EDUCATION
SMSC education stands for Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development. It is the overarching umbrella that encompasses the learners’ personal development across the whole curriculum.
The Spiritual development of the learners is displayed through their knowledge, acceptance and respect for other people’s faiths and values. The Moral development of the learners is displayed through their ability to recognise the difference between right and wrong and understand the consequences of their own behaviour.
The Social development of the learners is displayed through their active participation in different community service activities. Also, the acceptance of the values of democracy, individual liberty and mutual respect for different faiths and beliefs.
The Cultural development of the learners is displayed through their understanding of cultural influences that have shaped their heritage. Students are offered opportunities to participate in and respond positively to artistic, musical, sporting and cultural events.
STREAM APPROACH
BSEE adopts the comprehensive STREAM approach where Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Maths are embedded into the educational process. Students learn through hands-on experiences.

BSEE’s Innovation Hub is a modern resourceful facility equipped with K-12 education technology hardware.
Students access the innovation hubas early as foundation stage 2 where coding and robotics classes are integrated into their curriculum.
